In operations led by members of the Ministry of National Defense (DEFENSA), in coordination with the Ministry of the Navy (SEMAR), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the National Guard (GN), and the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), five search warrants were executed in Durango, where six people were arrested, including José Luis Delgadillo López, alias "Don José," the leader of a criminal group dedicated to kidnapping and human trafficking.

This criminal organization was linked to "Los Mayos," a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, linked to the 76-year-old Sinaloa drug lord Ismael Mario Zambada García, alias "El Mayo," who is currently imprisoned at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York (MCC New York), and led by Ismael Zambada Sicairos, alias "El Mayito Flaco."

“In an operation led by the Mexican Army @Defensamx1 and @FGRMexico, six people were arrested in Durango, including José Luis ‘N’, alias ‘Don José’, who has an arrest warrant and is identified as one of the leaders of a local criminal cell dedicated to kidnapping and human trafficking. Five properties related to their criminal activities were seized. With these actions, @GabSeguridadMX reaffirms its commitment to stopping the perpetrators of violence and guaranteeing the safety of families in the region,” wrote Omar Hamid García Harfuch, head of the Federal SSPC, on his social media account X.

“As a result of the development of lines of investigation related to kidnapping and human trafficking, properties in the municipality of Durango that were used for these activities were located. Therefore, fixed and mobile surveillance was carried out in five properties, where the necessary evidence was obtained and delivered to a control judge, who released them.” the search warrants,” the Federal Security Cabinet indicated in a joint statement.

“With this, security agents deployed simultaneous operations to execute search warrants in the neighborhoods of Loma Bonita, La Morga, Cerro de Guadalupe, and Guadalupe Victoria, where six people were arrested, including José Luis ‘N’, identified as the leader of the criminal cell. In addition, three magazines, 59 cartridges, 36 cell phones, a radio, three vehicles, and a motorcycle were seized,” the Mexican Government detailed.

“The detainees were read their legal rights and, along with the seized items, were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Prosecutor's Office agent, who will determine their legal status. Meanwhile, the homes were seized by the authorities. The institutions of the Security Cabinet reaffirm their commitment to society to prevent crimes and restore peace of mind to families,” the Federal Government concluded.

  4. A simultaneous search of 5 different properties produces only 6 arrests, one motorcycle, one radio, no firearms, ( just ammo), 3 cars, no kidnapped victims, not even a gramito of coke for personal use..
    Why am I not impressed?

  12. I guess El Mayo ratted his location to cut some sort of privilege while in prison, such as visitations from his son Vicente, or being in the same prison with his brother El Rey. Be funny if they put him with Chapo, Hector Beltran, Miguel Trevino.
