I'm always amused by the level of indignation and outraged virtue that gurgles up whenever one of these gory videos drops. All of that sanctimonious disgust and invective (often directed at Mexicans) is the product of hypocrisy, failure of imagination, and an almost sociopathic lack of self-awareness. I am a civil, empathetic, non-violent white man, about as far removed from Mexico and its culture as it's possible to get, yet when the coming civil war breaks out between us anglos here in Estados Unidos--which it will--the brutality shown in this cartel video will *pale* in comparison with the gruesome savageries we will inflict upon each other (and each other's families) when the hostilities finally break out, which could happen any day now.
