A high-ranking commander of the Guanajuato state Attorney Generals Office (FGE), Juan Alberto Camarillo Zavala, was ambushed and killed in San Felipe, Guanajuato. Zavala is the 33rd police officer killed in Guanajuato this year.
The attack occurred on Thursday morning while Zavala was driving to work. His body and burned out vehicle were left on the side of the San Felipe–Dolores Hidalgo highway.
Zavala was a regional director of the Joint Case Processing Unit of the Guanajuato State Attorney's Office. He was responsible for the regions of Ocampo, Dolores Hidalgo, San Diego de la Unión, and San Felipe, where he was killed. In recent weeks, San Felipe region, in particular the San Felipe–Dolores Hidalgo highway, has been the site of numerous violent attacks by criminal groups.
The same morning, another worker was ambushed and killed in a similar manner on the same road. Earlier this week, on Tuesday morning, two women were killed by gunmen inside a roadside restaurant outside San Felipe, Guanajuato.
327 police officers have been killed in Guanajuato state since 2020. The state has become the most dangerous region in Mexico to be a police officer.

DeleteWord is beginning to get traction that la changita anthrax faked her death. Anyone else hear anything?
ReplyDeleteIt’s heartbreaking to see how many municipal officials, judges and politicians killed by criminals in Mexico. I am worried that America will follow suit but in the name of political correctness with the killings of political individuals and officials.
ReplyDeleteMany historians believe that a civil war has begun in the US. Like many countries have with violent protests and demonstrations against their citizens. Moreover, the emboldened policy shifts from authoritarian leaders who disregard and bypass the legislative system implemented to protect their democracy.
The division is real and a great threat to humanity.
Stealing billions of dollars for Operation Mayan Jaguar styled operations, exacerbated the greed of mexican law enforcement, they are now bent on stealing from the mexican public trough and pursuing public office to get their claws on the treasury, if they have to ally with local maruchaneros and grameros, they will gladly do it, they are really worse than the illness they were supposed to cure...

..The malaria, the topones, run-ins with the ejercito, trampling through crocodile-infested swamp and python-plagued jungle, navigating untamed rivers and unfriendly international borders, Bowie knife clenched in steely jaws, standing tall amongst earnest desperados encapuchados as a cellphone image records for posterity that Secret Life of Walter Mitty moment when you realize that you can finally say "look, ma, I've made it to the top of the heap!"

He famously did not know where the switch to turn on his rifle was, but he held off 200 corrupt police officers trying to kill him in his own house and without bullet proof vest...
Leyzaola was happy he left him in charge.

Tricky, first of all, Sol drinks 10X 🍻 more than your father, if you don't believe me, ask any of the bartenders that he "forgets" to tip after bending their ears all night with his life story.
ReplyDeleteIf your real pop is in the way or otherwise cramping your style, simply drop a dime on him with ICE.
He'll be quickly ambushed, rounded up, photographed, fingerprinted, and shipped out.
