DeleteIf the Zambada family takes care of the Mexican Pacific Coast Highways, then they should be informed of these rumors: generally, the highway is not all that good. It's two-lane, and there are many "tope's" (speed bumps). There is also slow moving traffic, the occasional farm animal or even people walking in the lanes of traffic (because there is no shoulder to the roadway). From time to time there are bridge wash-outs, public protests that shut the highway for hours, etc. There are also a couple to several military checkpoints at which they’ve likely been asked to prove a nationality and present a passport & tourist card, etc. also, if sometimes luggages could be randomly removed from buses.
