Members of the so-called Elite Group of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation (CJNG), led by two relatives of Gerardo Botello, El Cachas, are in charge of the cells of assassins of the organization commanded by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho, and are the main generators of violence in the states of Jalisco, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosi, Michoacan, Queretaro, Puebla and Nayarit, according to reports from the security cabinet.

In particular, in Guanajuato the CJNG factions have their cells identified as Grupo Operativo Barredora (GOB) and Grupo Operativo Especial de Mencho (GOEM), in addition to the Elite group; and they operate under the command of relatives of El Cachas, identified as Wilians B and Gustavo B.
Regarding El Cachas, the authorities that are part of the security cabinet have identified that he is originally from Michoacan, is 46 years old and is considered "one of the main ringleaders of the CJNG, and although he is in prison, from the state prison he directs operations of the cells of hitmen in the states of Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Michoacan, Puebla and Nayarit."
As for the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel, the sources consulted said that the cells of this group, whose leader, Jose Antonio Yepez Ortiz, was arrested, have allied with factions of the Gulf cartel and part of the Sinaloa cartel (which is also divided between the Chapitos faction and the groups led by Ismael El Mayo Zambada).
Authorities have obtained information that in order to increase their violent activities against rival groups, this organization has recruited people who know how to handle explosives and were the first cartel to place bombs on drones.
The cabinet data refer that the municipalities in Guanajuato where the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel has the greatest presence are Santa Rosa de Lima, Celaya, Juventino Rosas, Villagrán, Cortázar, Apaseo El Grande and Apaseo El Alto.

DeleteI really do believe US will do nothing to stop these cartels. It is not in our best interests to intervene, “let the animals wipe themselves out”. As long as theres violence drugs cartels money and guns Mexico will never be a true powerhouse country and will always be 2nd to USA. Simpre va a estar bien empinado.
