Telemundo to feature a CJNG Sicario in 3 part series

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat from RapidNews

Noticias Telemundo Investiga, the investigative news unit for Telemundo, is prepping "Reclutado por el narco", a series of three reports based on the first testimony to the media by a hit man for the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG).

Presented by journalist Aldo Meza, the series [Spanish] documents the methods used by Mexico’s most powerful criminal organisation to recruit, train and control its assassins.

Reclutado por el narco will air in three parts, Monday through Wednesday, 20-22 May, during Noticias Telemundo’s primetime newscast. It will also be available online, via the Noticias Telemundo mobile app and property’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages.

“Noticias Telemundo Investiga has gone where no one has before: To the heart of the CJNG, the criminal organisation that took over the Sinaloa Cartel,” Noticias Telemundo Investiga director, Elena Gonzáles, said. “This is the first time anyone has been able to give a first-hand account of the extreme methods the cartel uses in its ‘terror schools,’ the camps where it trains its killers through tactics ranging from torture to ritual cannibalism.”

Part One of the series, "Los sicarios", focusses on the recruitment of new hit men and their introduction to the world of the CJNG.

Part Two, 'Entrenados para matar', detailing the techniques the cartel uses to train its assassins

Part Three, "Los desaparecidos", is dedicated to the relatives of the victims recruited by the cartel.

  2. Interesting documentary pertaining the world of those powerful drug organizations. These informative methods being used will display the growing concern and its complexity towards the fight on drugs.
A must for educational purposes for those young people who believe the drug game is glorifying.

    1. Get the federal legislators that become governors and take their favorite cartels mantle of "saving their people" from all other criminals, in cahoots with the politicians that get to power with them...some castles fall from the top, and the policuicos and polizetas would only look at the cattle prods and chicharras and confess everything before they get them up the ass, but huemrry before the US gets them in protective custody to keep them quiet like Edgar Veytia. Arturo bermudez Zurita got millions of dollars and Jesus Alberto Capella Ibarra is on his way, like genarco garcia luna and other cuicos like la Mencha, El Teo, Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo or DFS agents Amado Carrillo Fuentes and Rafael Aguilar Guajardo original member of CDJ. Nobody can deny they were all more powerful than their capo puppets and it is worse today.

  11. I am glad Jorge Ramos did not talk to the Cartel, he says borderline raw questions that get him in hot water. Therefore he would have been killed.
