Another photo in my series of :Another reason not to become a narco", though in this case there wasn't much to begin with...
However, of the first things that I thought of was "I wonder how different he looks from his known photo"
Aside from looking very unhappy, I only recognize the eyebrows matching any feature in the old photo. I dropped in the old photo in with the arrest photo from siskyou_kid
New Leader?
Grillonautas is reporting another Cárdenas Guillén brother
will be taking the CDG leadership.
Homero Cárdenas Guillén,
“el Majadero” who has, according to “Contralínea” magazine, since 2009 has managed
the trafficking of cocaine from the Tamaulipas Rio Bravo/RioGrande border into
Houston and Brownsville, Texas, and Atlanta Georgia.
The arrest was prompted by his men giving him up
Details from the televised conference, an official from the Ministry of the Interior:
On August 12, prior to the arrest of Ramirez Trevino, there was the capture of 24 members of CDG (Cartél del Golfo). The detainees provided them the intelligence that took authorities to the location of the X20.
Spokesman Sanchez Hernandez confirmed that X20 aka El Pelón was arrested, without gunfire, in Reynosa Tamaulipas, in an operation led by the Army, in coordination with the Attorney General and the Federal Police,.

Both Mario Armando Ramirez Treviño along with the other prisoners were made available to the Deputy Attorney Specialized Investigation of Organized Crime (SEIDO) of the PGR.
Thanks Chivis!!!

Quick question.
ReplyDeleteHave some school aged (elem, Jr high) relatives coming back from Monterrey to Houston next weekend after spending part of the summer with buela.
which border town is safer Reynosa or Laredo?
Probably Laredo. Reynosa has been a hot spot and will get worse now that X20 has been captured. in the next couple of weeks I feel there gonna be a lot of gun battles.
DeleteLAREDO !!!! At least for rigbt now I cross every week and everything seems peaceful in nuevo laredo
DeleteI just came back to California from Monterrey. Nuevo Laredo is way safer but only cross during 12-6 in the day anything early or later is bad. Don't worry The Mexican military is all over the place.
DeleteX-20 wouldn't pay his soldiers he would just send them to war, but he would let them do their bussiness with drugs to make money. Such as buy Kilos
ReplyDeleteIsn't that what a boss does? The money goes up, not down. Well at least in Cosa Nostra standards.
DeleteThis guy needed to have hidden himself in the sierra Madre oriental. I think the days of CDG Capos hiding in the cities of Tamps. is over. They need to take a page from the book of CDS Capps and pay for the proper protection. The question that arises now : who is the man, or women, who will take the reins of the CDG. Or is Chapo ready to enter Tamaulipas and expand his cartel empire.
ReplyDeleteSinaloa will never own tamps....
ReplyDeletetheir will be a very strong minded person come into the play possibly a tejano from McAllen someone who's bringing in big money for the cartel and has their mind on the $$$$
x20 looks like he relapsed and was back in to doing drugs possibly the reason he was given up
The guy is 51 i believe. Folks around that age tend to age a little more than others buela ;-)
ReplyDeleteTwo drug lords captured with less than two months difference, I am really intrigued to see the before/after photos it really amazes me, cant wait to see Joaquin Guzman's photos, sooner or later everybody falls, and el chapo's fall will be the best thing that ever happened to everybody.
ReplyDeleteLaredo is safer to cross
ReplyDeletehe looks angry and dope sick
ReplyDeleteHoly sh*t he looks like marlon brando from apocalypse now.
ReplyDeleteLol... You're right. He does look like him.
DeleteWhy is it that all top capos never go out without a fight?? All that bullshit they spit on corridos and at the last moment theyre big ass bitches.. Coronel and don Arturo were the only onces with balls to go out like soldiers.. cdg has sissy ass leadership, that's why the Cardenas are taking it back
ReplyDeleteTrue that. Arturo Beltran Leyva, Tony Tormenta and Lazcano Lazcano didnt give up like el ondeado, x20 and z40, they just fight when they are in complete power like when their victims are tied up or when they out number their rivals, pathetic.
DeleteTony tormenta too went out bullets blazing
DeleteWat about oziel cardenas or his brother tony tormenta.or el karis.
DeleteOsiel cried like a bitch so where's ur facts comin from that make u think cardenas are taking over?? And el ondeado died when they tried capturing him so how did he give up like z40 did?
DeleteEl ondeado didn't give up
DeleteTony tormenta went it like a true capo.. I'm sorry I forgot about him.. Osiel is a bitch he was crying for forgiveness.. 11:20 is right this capos are only hardcore when they're victims are tied up or theyre goons are in front of them..
DeleteThe story of el ondeado says that he tried running into the forest of some sort and they shot him in the back he didnt give up buy didnt fought either.
DeleteI meant el ondeado didnt tried to fight back like the other capos I mentioned, well from what I read he tried fleeing.
Delete-keke
You assholes will never known the moment of truth until it happens to you!!! ! You can only speculate...Fuck all internet tough guys !!!
DeleteWhen Oziel Cardenaz was arreated the gun battle lasted an hour.It was captured on video for everybody to local to see on the news.
Deletethe zetas are a shadow of their former selves, and now w z40 behind bars, they are vulnerable, after the series of bosses from cdg that've been taken down they are also vulnerable, if the rumor that r1 is w cds is true as a bonus, chapo may be in a good position to make a move on the northeast. its well known he covets the northeast of MX
ReplyDelete\
51 is prime, he looks late 60+
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't he look anything alike in the photos?
DeleteI mean I dont think its the age difference?
Did he have plastic surgery or something?
How old was he in the before photo?
Chivita ur work is getting legendary I just tattooed my left upper arm with your stage name chivis
DeleteThanks for giving props to us old guys. As for x-20, he looks like he has been hiding really well. He has the look of a Mexican who hasn't seen much sun lately. Now he can have about an hour a day of sunlight in the prison yard. LOL.
Delete51 is not prime..
Delete@ chivis 51 is not old but these idiots put a lot of miles on living that life.a year to them is like 10 to us
DeleteIm from Rio Bravo Tamaulipas now living in mission tx, rio bravo is a pretty small town with only one main street, one freeway I imagine there's where they planted their checkpoint but its wierd because right by the freeway is rio bravo's police station, the freeway is right next to a canal and rio bravo is at the opposite side so its not very strategical to be there no place to hide rio bravo is not a but they where there for a reason.
ReplyDeleteAlso if anybody goes to rio bravo go to tacos el primo they are the most amazing thing you will ever eat, right by the rotonda, very known there just ask everybody know where everything is.
Chivis will we see a interrogation video or a presentation of x20 soon?
ReplyDeleteDid he also have the sammy sosa treatment???
ReplyDeleteLol! Good one
DeleteQuick question, a bit fun to answer, who do you guys think will win in a fist fight between z40 and x20?
ReplyDeleteWhy?
Oh and any other intrusting matches you guys might have?
@11:52 p.m my moneys on 40 and barbie.i think barbie would kick 40s ass!! X20 would be better matched with ester gordillo aka la chucky lol!!!
DeleteIf you look closely at the photos he didnt had surgery just aged maybe 15+ years, same eyebrows, chin dimple and neck line, the angle of the photo makes him look a bit different altough his nose is amazingly pointy almost like it had it re-done but I think its all natural.
ReplyDelete51 is prime? 51 is getting a bit long in the tooth for this lifestyle, definately there are older chaps around but for the majority of the guys seems to be around 30-35-40. didn't pay his men? man thats as low as it gets, across the board, anyone that doesn't pay people, needs to be shoved in a small box for a few weeks
ReplyDeleteDo drug lords interact with other inmates or are always in solitary?
ReplyDeleteOr do like they only let them see other members of their group?
by the time they get arrested, they are relieved to get caught, in fact they feel like a huge weight is off of their chest when they aquiess
ReplyDeleteAquiess? Who are you, Captain Jack Sparrow?
DeleteThat's true they say they are cold stone killers and at the end they give up with out a fight bunch of losers
ReplyDeleteif the narcos were all a bit older, there wouldn't be so much craziness and bloodshed
ReplyDelete@11:12 Dont forget Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano, Z-3 went out guns blazing,he took on 18 marines pretty much on his own....
ReplyDeleteI still think over and over about that fateful day, how is it the third person got away? because Z-3 made cover fire for him is my conclusion.
So that's his real face, he's really bald.
ReplyDeleteLos Deltas security for x20 were supposed to be some bad asses yet not a shot fired to capture this criminal.
DeleteYeah you can tell he was smoking that cheese. Same thing happened to Goyo/Caramuela. They can't afford to have a rockstar calling the shots.
ReplyDeleteJAJAJAJA
Osiel did not go out shooting...his men were shooting downstairs. He had just crawled in bed after an all night party, he heard the commotion and went out the window to run off only to discover the entire block was surrounded by militars.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think it makes little sense to shoot until your shot and killed. Dumb. It is smarter to concede losing this round, cut the best deal....IMO
@ chivis thats how they say they got pablo escobar going out an upstairs window but nowhere for him to go as they had everywhere covered.i dont even think he even got to fire a shot
Delete3:41 jajajaja
ReplyDelete38,000 grand seems like chump change for a "boss" to be carrying. Z40 had several million on him according to the reports. I'm not convinced this guy has been the maximum leader of cdg
ReplyDeleteIf im not mistaken that's the same way how they arrested El Coss, i doubt it highly, because only people with boss know his location, others have no clue, just not in CDG ,there apparently every other member knows location of boss.I don't buy that.
ReplyDeletewhat a demon looking guy he doesnt look mexican lol
ReplyDeleteChivis...were there any pictures of el fantasma? I haven't heard anything since his arrest. Also, have you heard those taped convesrations against malova? Ivan el cholo is recorded along with fantasma and several others.
ReplyDelete@11:20
ReplyDeleteEl Ondeado din't give up. He went out shooting, there's conflicting stories but apparently he dropped a helicopter with Barrett 50 cal. Others say that never happened, some say that he killed 11 Marines before he got shot down, but the fact is he went out shooting, by himself with two .38's against 28 soldiers
Thank you. I just replied to the post that said ondeado gave up like a bitch. He was killed so how is that givin up?? Ppl need to get facts str8 b4 opening their mouth
DeleteOndeado had more bruises than anything. And he got shot with handguns. So he was tortured before he was killed. Some say he did kill soldiers and he got caught and torured. Others say he was killed for the same thing that el fantasma was captured for. That incident where those 4 soldiers were kidnapped and let go in exchange for meño
DeleteExactamente. Con dos 38 supers rompiendo culos! Couldn't have said it better myself pelao.
DeleteHe went from ugly to uglier.
ReplyDeleteto a lot of these alpha types, any backup is a huge personal crisis, they go into huge depressive states. especially when they cant have what they want, or when everything seems to be going a different way than what they are used to, they start to bug out, loose motivation and give people up when they are caught. textbook bully's
ReplyDelete@ 12:42 PM - The "bully" concept you're talking about or unchecked machismo, can be found in ANY culture throughout the world, including the United States. Being a bully or not does not determine whether someone will "fold" under pressure. It's not a healthy state of mind to be preoccupied with reveling in the humiliation of others. It is enough for an offender to be brought to justice. Gloating and smug celebration is being a bully in reverse and reactionary. Passive agression is every bit as pathetic as any other form of hostility. Why not use you education to think of possible solutions to the obviously glarring lack of positive role models, because this kind of psycho-analysis is not only unhelpful but comes off as weak and like sour grapes.
ReplyDeleteThat's chump change!!!! No boss has that type of change on him? ???
ReplyDeleteEl M1 puro gallo de Sinaloa fought the gafes special forces till the death .el senor Nacho Coronel came out guns blazing Tony Tormenta Arturo Beltran El Chayo.those were real gangsters
ReplyDeleteCrack head!!!!
ReplyDeleteAugust 19, 2013 at 1:38 PM
ReplyDelete"think of possible solutions to the obviously glarring lack of positive role models, because this kind of psycho-analysis is not only unhelpful but comes off as weak and like sour grapes"
Huh,,,what ?
@5:46 p.m thats psychobabble for lets hold hands and sing kumbaya lol!!!
ReplyDeleteAdministration and all,
ReplyDeleteIt is obvious that credit is not dicimonated as it should be.
The capture of the 2 & 3 significant cartel capos goes to one person.
Colombian National Police, retired general Óscar Naranjo.
He is now in charge and has offices in D.C. and Langley Virginia.
Figure it out.
what is 1:38 talking about, i didn't sense any gloating in talking about bully's, so do you read bb to what, figure out societies problems or to get a bead on what is happening? did he name names, no, was this guy your brother, lover? did someone somewhere give you a swirly? if so or, if not, what do you care? all these cartel boss guys are bully's and to talk a little shit before or after they are caught isn't even in the same universe as what these guys have done and have had done to innocents and even the guys who were in the game
ReplyDeletewell, a percentage does. but standards at all would be different
ReplyDelete@10:31 You said,
ReplyDelete"to talk a little shit before or after they are caught isn't even in the same universe as what these guys have done"
- No, you're right about that, that is why they are "alpha"...
and being palabras de los machos, on the internet, makes one a "beta", otherwise known as wanna-be.
I have lost family in this war who were innocents, and we are never "players" as you put it. In my family we look down on the choice to become involved with the scum life.
My point - This is not a telenovela - a soap opera, this is a pesadilla - a nightmare.
What about you? Do you just read BB because it makes you feel tough? Or have you lost family too?
My alegre is that la marina and autodefensas are ACTUALLY doing something tangibley good for the future of Mexico... and not just cheerleading. Viva Mexico
ReplyDeleteGame Over C.D.G ! Bastards full of shit !
ReplyDeleteArriva el señor majadero y puro Sinaloa y el golfo entero
ReplyDelete@7:27pm Wrong dude,he did the right thing, just that there were too many marines,it was 18marines vs Z-3 rather then get engulfed by enemy you have to withdraw, find more cover and fire back, everytime withdrawing so not to get surrounded...
ReplyDeleteHomero Cardenas Guillen has connections in Europe, Central America, South America, Africa, and USA i dont know about the other places
ReplyDelete"My alegre is that la marina and autodefensas are ACTUALLY doing something tangibley good for the future of Mexico... and not just cheerleading"
ReplyDeleteBottom line !
August 20, 2013 at 8:34 PM
ReplyDelete"it was 18marines vs Z-3 rather then get engulfed by enemy"
Dude, are you Lazcanos son or what?Or his daughter? I keep seeing someone commenting on how brave and noble Lazcano was in the face of insurmountable odds. You have to be his missing lover ?
No seas mamón y mentiroso.
DeleteVez a valor por Tamaulipas
DeleteZ3 was an elite Gafe soldier, trained by american and israeli special forces this is what made the original 31 Zetas so powerful and deadly in addition to the guatemalan kaibiles also elite soldiers also trained by american special forces however the mexican marines are also highly trained and are elite special forces who unlike the zetas maintain the military discipline also American Delta Seals and CIA paramilitary are disguising like mexican marines and participaring in these operations.
ReplyDeleteDelta Seals, what the hell are you talking about! First of all is Delta Forces and Navy Seals, and forget about that crap that Zetas were trained by Israeli Commandos and Deltas, I don't know where did you get that bullshit story.
DeleteI have news for those who think Homero cardenas is taking over the cartel.......he died about a week or two ago in monterrey nuevo leon...due to bad blood circulation...I know this from a good source......I too saw Homero cardenas a couple of times in some pools he owned...and you could see the bad circulation in his legs they looked really bad.....
ReplyDeleteHomero Cardenas Guillen and his connections in Europe,Central America,South America and Africa. Are bunch of lies , Homero Cardenas Guillen is a pice of shit !
ReplyDeleteThese guys look rough I wouldn't do business with them.

Are you having a laugh dude?Or is that for real?Who knows?Bad circulation in his bonce as well.
Investigate his dead
ReplyDeletedo only some of you people in mexico read the whole paragraph? where do i write, i would do this and that if caught, or if i was a wannabe tough, i would say i'd never get caught, and where do i say that only players get hurt? i didn't, i wrote that, when someone talks a little shit, it is in now way the same as these guys have condemmned innocent people as well as players in the game, innocents are not the same as players, fucko! but being condemmned the same by these assholes is much worse than people talking shit about these guys getting arrested, man you are thick, arrrrrrgh!!
ReplyDeleteC.D.G is done is finished period. What is it that you guys don't understand ?
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Commandante Camaron in Tamaulipas he was/is a big shot for the CDG know to have a lot of people or El Aleman
ReplyDeletei wonder where are Los Escorpiones of Tony Tormenta now bet they joined Los Metros or some other golfo group
ReplyDelete@5:02 some of the Zetas may have been, cause in that era some mexican special forces were getting xtra training in U.S. by U.S. special forces.
ReplyDelete
