Tantoyuca, Veracruz: When They Persecute You In This City, Flee To Another

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Warning: Graphic Video

An unarmed man is running for his life down a narrow street lined with small stands, vehicles, people, and a restaurant. Three heavily armed masked men are in hot pursuit trying to catch up to him. Their committed intention is to abduct him in broad daylight in front of everyone.

Unfortunately, the fleeing man accidentally slips and slides across the dirty pavement during his botched escape. He knows that he’s about to be kidnapped by his aggressors. In one last attempt not to be taken alive he puts up a struggle by stiffening up and prolonging the inevitable as much as he can.

The hitmen drag, prod with a rifle, kick, and eventually just shoot him dead before all the horror stricken witnesses. Yet another barbarity committed against a citizen in a country where being unarmed means that your own survival solely depends on you.

14% Yes we or our family are corrupt politicians, government, police or military
50% No we want to live anywhere except Mexico because of cartels and corrupt government

    1. Site your source. A lot of times these polls are inaccurate and target certain demographics to conform to certain narratives.

    3. 100% just shoot me. In the Rwanda genocide there were frequent reports of having to pay an amount of $ to be shot rather than killed by dull machete. Miles of streets were filled with blood.

  4. I don't think Patron is gonna be too happy when they show up with a dead body LOL

  5. I think so too, I'd rather die right there than be taken. I don't understand why they took the body? Seemed quite messy to me

    1. No, frequently it's part of the deal. No body=no murder. Keep the officials happy. Part of the deal/politics of working with authorities...kep murder #low

  8. This is why I carry concealed my Glock 19 on me every where I go in California. I carry with no permit. I don’t want have my life at the mercy of some thug. We are living in some horrible times. Society is degrading everywhere, not just U.S or Mexico.

    2. You’re a scared coward. This isn’t hopping in CA

    3. 6:55 Says the coward with ‘anonymous’ name. There’s plenty of road rage and random shootings happening all over CA. Get your head out your ass.

    4. 7:00 OH, the irony.

    5. @4.32-0 You carry a Glock in California because a 5 man hit team kill a man by shooting him in the back and then the head in Veracruz? And you are ''anonymous'', but you're calling others cowards for doing the same?

    6. @7.00- Road rage and random shootings are happening in CA with the help of the police, where the shooters have long guns? Get your head out your own ass, or try reading as well as watching. The most depressing first words on this comment section - ''That's why I carry...'' I always hope it will end with ''My favourite Robert Johnson Album'', or ''A Garlic Baguette'', but it's always a bloody gun. Followed by a vague rant about the corruption of little brown men that they respect but not the ones who are involved cos of ELMO. Or ALMO. Or Wotever.

    8. 7:41 “Road rage and random shootings are happening in CA with the help of the police” <—— what an idiot. I don’t have to respond to you. You make yourself look stupid already LMAO

    9. @brokemyhead 726 You don’t understand do you ? Dude is right. With all the violence and savagery going on these days, it seems its easier and more likely to fall prey to these low lifes. You don’t have to be cartel related to be shot & killed. Duh. Not too long ago, 6 people died in a shooting massacre in Sacramento Ca. Too many tragedies going on these days. Let’s adapt and better prepare for them instead of being a crying little btch
