Cartel de Sinaloa: 24-Hour Ultimatum Given To Locate "Mayito Gordo"

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

A court ordered that investigators look for him in the country's capital, as well as verify his personal integrity

Ismael Zambada "El Mayito Gordo"

The Seventh District Court for Amparo and Federal Trials in the State of Baja California, in Tijuana, issued a 24-hour ultimatum to locate Mayito Gordo, a former member of the Sinaloa Cartel, according to official records presented in the text of the resolution of last July 29 and consulted by Infobae México.

“The promoter of the directly aggrieved party is required, so that within the term of twenty-four hours, computed legally, he provides some data or indication where the directly aggrieved party can be located”

Since last July 26, a judge from the same Court stated that Mayito Gordo had the benefit of basic processing guarantees, that Mayo Zambada's son should not be held incommunicado, mistreated or tortured. Nor should he face detention with a lack of legal support, according to warnings from a judge in Tijuana, both the Migration Institute (INM) and the National Guard (GN), based in Tijuana, must guarantee the safety of Ismael Zambada Imperial.

Following his released from a prison in San Diego, California after serving part of his nine-year sentence, the authorities have not found Ismael Zambada Imperial in the city of Tijuana, and their search has also been extended to the country's capital to corroborate his status of health and to know if he will ratify his amparo.

The protection requested by the Sinaloa Cartel asks that Ismael Zambada follow his legal procedure as soon as he steps on national territory. This request for justice protection was presented by Aristeo Angulo Rivera, who demands guarantees for Ismael Zambada Imperial, because according to Angulo Rivera himself, he fears that unsubstantiated procedures will be applied to Mayito.

According to a TikTok video, where Mayito Zambada is allegedly welcomed, photographs can be found that allude to the members of the Sinaloa Cartel. However, the presence of Ismael Zambada Imperial in national territory has not yet been confirmed. The videos that circulate both on TikTok and on Facebook show a party supposedly organized after the release of Mayito Gordo, but neither the place nor the date on which they were recorded has been verified.

As the videos show, it is a celebration with several luxury vehicles and together with these members of a banda group playing live music. There is also a life-size portrait of Mayo Zambada with the letters MZ, on one side you can see an image of Vicente Zambada Niebla El Vicentillo, while on the other end you can see an effigy of Mayito Gordo. The short videos were posted on July 25 and can only be found on Facebook.

The alleged reception of Mayito Gordo amid uncertainty about his whereabouts

A video began to circulate on social networks in which they allegedly welcome Ismael Zambada's son after his release at the end of July.

According to official records, Ismael Zambada was released from a medium security prison on July 21 in California. His release was confirmed by the US Department of Justice. The alleged heir to the drug empire admitted having ordered acts of violence during his time with the criminal organization. He also declared having exported at least 450 kilograms of cocaine and 90 kilograms of heroin.

El Mayito Gordo was accused of obtaining weapons illegally, corrupting officials and using violence to intimidate police officers, rival drug traffickers and even members of his own criminal organization.

In the event that Mayito Zambada remains in the United States, he must submit to 3 years of supervised release, he will also be obliged to obtain a legal job and will not be able to have contact with people involved in illegal activities. In the case of being found in Mexico, the 3-year surveillance will be suspended.

    7. You guys really had it made back when Chivis was around. I still remember how every so often she'd complain to me how some comments really bothered her. She had lots of patience with everyone that came by to speak their minds. Something that most people here took for granted. The death threats and clown comments still appear though. That never really changed or went away. It's just someone else that has to deal with it now. Biggest difference overall is that now those insults are returned and it drives the morons wild. So for everyone that likes to talk shit, you're obviously living in a fantasy world if you think we're going to hold our silence now. Hell fuck no son. It's a different era.

  10. I'm not very familiar with narco stuff and I just visit here to kill time, but I am quite familiar USA law enforcement. Take this for what it's worth.

2 days ago when the earlier story came out I went to the ICE Locator and did a search on a first name of "Ismael" and a last name of "zambadaimperial". USA law enforcement computers have a hard time with Hispanic naming parameters and hyphenated names, so what would frequently be considered a middle and last name are frequently combined, sometimes interchangeably. The computers cannot handle a space in a name. Almost never will there be a middle name entry for someone born in Mexico.

The search two days ago showed someone with that name (DOB was not listed) born in Mexico was in custody at the Immigration facility in Florence, Arizona. When I searched just now nothing popped up.

When an undocumented prisoner is released from federal or state custody, especially if it was a newsworthy case, there is *almost always* a warrant from ICE in the system. People are *almost always* checked for warrants upon release from state or federal custody....county jail, not as much, but usually.

It would be unimaginable to me that this guy would be allowed to remain in the USA solely to serve out probation/parole....that's not how it works. They are released from prison directly into ICE custody, then get deported because we don't want people like that here. Then they fail to show to parole/probation because they were deported to Mexico and the federal case goes to a fresh warrant for absconding. If he re-enters the country and someone runs him, the warrant is served and he is arrested, then likely deported again after serving a new sentence for absconding.

I don't profess to have any personal knowledge of this case....but there you go.

    1. Well if its a snitch and gets that protective costudy he desapears from the system, so who knows, imagine been in protective costudy but all your info is out there for every body to find where you are? Wouldnt that be stupid?

    4. @6:50 state parole or federal probation officers will know if a person is deported so idk about a new warrant being issued for absconding.
Some time back I tried searching for somebody that got busted on a federal case and couldn't find him. Now I tried it the way you said about putting the two last names as one and he still doesn't show. Must be cooperating.
Where do you think he's from?🤔😝🤣🍅💯.

  15. Here in the US, if you’re a cooperations witness…which he was….our lovely government will do whatever they feel like. They do not check for warrants before that. Otherwise it would have been discussed long prior to his release. I’m sure he was long gone by the time it was announced. Look up Nicky Barnes that everyone assumed was dead or in jail.
