Abductors Mistakenly Kidnaps A Family In Chihuahua; Among Victims There Are 3 Minors

According to relatives of the victims, armed men took them when they were at the Ascención bus station, but when they realized the mistake, they were released.

After the police took the report, it was reported that several hours later, the victims were released, safe and sound, in the adjoining municipality of Guerrero.

An armed criminal cell abducted 7 people in the municipality of Ascensión, north of Chihuahua, and hours later released them when they realized they had made a mistake, according to the complaint filed by relatives of the victims.

The local police of this municipality reported that a person who managed to escape from the “abduction” denounced that an armed group had kidnapped 7 of his friends and relatives when they were at the Ómnibus de México bus station, in Ascensión , where the aggressors arrived aboard two vehicles, threatening the youths and beating them to get them into the automobiles.

The complainant stated that the victims were Mario González, 18, Eloy González, 20, Aurora González, 16, Samuel Ponce, 15, Estela Ponce, 13, and Raúl Ponce, 31.

After the police took the report, it was reported that several hours later, the victims were released, safe and sound, in the adjoining municipality of Guerrero. Apparently the gunmen had made a mistake.
