"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Video translation is as follows:

A search alert has been activated for these individuals. 2 minors and 5 adults left the town of Nuevo Casas Grandes to work in a sawmill in Colonia Dublán. They were reported missing when their relatives lost contact with them on Monday.

They are Cristian Benjamin Gutiérrez, 15, Manuel Agdael Barrios García, also 15, Juan Manuel Barrios Espinosa, 36, Arturo García García, 33, Luis Jovany Quińonez Rivera, 24, Juan Diego Hernández Guerrero, 19, and Bulmaro Bernabé Valenzuela Mijares, 36.

They revealed to their loved ones that they had been lost in the town of Flores Magón during their journey. But so far they have not been located. In addition there are fears that they became victims of organized crime that operates between those towns and on the dirt roads of that region.

Colonia Dublán began as a Mormon colony, located in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. It is now a part of Nuevo Casas Grandes Municipality. It is one of the few surviving Mormon colonies in Mexico (the other being Colonia Juárez).
