Jalisco: 14 Members Of The CJNG Were Linked To A Judicial Process

Authorities linked 14 members of the CJNG to the judicial process, they operated in 4 municipalities of Jalisco. They were detained during five searches carried out in the area.

As a result of five searches carried out on June 30, 2021 by the criminal investigation agents of the (FGR) and elements of the Mexican Army, achieved the capture of 14 alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel dedicated to the sale of drugs, kidnappings, and extortion in the municipalities of Zapopan, Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque and Tlajomulco, in the State of Jalisco.

Once detained, they were placed under judicial detention to strengthen the investigations and this September 30 they were linked to a process by a Jalisco Control Judge for being likely responsible for various crimes such as organized crime, crimes against health, kidnapping, collection of firearms, as well as possession of weapons, magazines and rounds for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.


Derived from the follow-up to a complaint and the investigation work, on June 30, 2021 a search warrant was executed in coordination with elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), ministerial personnel and the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) , obtaining the following results:

In five searches, 14 alleged members of the CJNG were detained

The first search was carried out at the home located in the El Cerrito neighborhood, in San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, where Jorge “H” was detained, who was secured three firearms, two magazines, narcotics, a vehicle , three USB sticks and six cell phones.

At the second home, located in the Revolución neighborhood, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, José “H” was arrested, who was assured of a grenade launcher, three short weapons, 106 rounds of different calibers, five magazines, nine cell phones, two USB sticks, two laptops, numerous documentation and a vehicle.

At another address, located in the Residencial Chapalita neighborhood, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Tifany “C” was detained, and eight short weapons, six long weapons, 34 magazines for firearms, six cell phones, cash, a gas grenade, various documents, a hard drive, rounds, approximately 1 kilo of of marijuana, and a vehicle.

The detainees will remain in prison while the investigation is carried out.

At the fifth address, in the Residencial Victoria neighborhood, in Zapopan, Jalisco, Paola “H”, Adolfo “V”, Carlos “M”, Antonio “S”, Raúl “V”, Joshua “A”, Paola “C”and Brandon "G", we’re arrested who were found with six long guns, 12 cell phones, 11 magazines, two ballistic vests and numerous documentation.

After being arrested, the 14 people were issued the respective arrest warrant by the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM), they were taken in front of the Control Judge, who linked them to the process. The precautionary measure of informal preventive detention was ratified and four months of complementary investigation were granted.
