"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
On Sunday morning, a woman was found, hanging by her neck from a tree, and, next to her, a cardboard with a message alluding to a criminal group, on the dirt road that leads to the community of Santa Marta.
People passing through this area saw the scene and reported to the authorities, who immediately mobilized to the place.
Investigation Police were in charge of the scene, along with experts from the forensic medical service, who removed the woman from the tree and transferred her to the Zacatecan Institute of Forensic Sciences (IZCF).
Along with the cardboard that was with her. So far, the identity of the woman is unknown.
