San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato: An Armed Kidnapper’s Plan Is Foiled

Denise Maerker: This afternoon in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato an armed individual went inside a mechanic workshop to rob. And an employee with great courage managed to disarm the thief who was carrying a long gun.

Female Reporter: A security camera managed to capture the moment when a masked man armed with an AR-15 rifle entered the Ponches Tractor Parts mechanical workshop located in the Los Rodriguez community of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato this afternoon.

While 3 workers were distracted repairing a dump truck. Another employee noticed the entry of the armed man and tried to disarm him. During the scuffle the gun was fired twice until the employee was able to snatch the rifle. According to the initial report, the man who entered the building was trying to kidnap one of the persons from the establishment.
