Rio Blanco, Veracruz: An Armed Criminal Cell Kidnaps a Merchant

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

He was intercepted, subdued and kidnapped by four men.

An armed criminal cell made up of four individuals who were traveling in a white Hyundai pickup, intercepted and kidnapped a merchant in the Colonia Reforma of the Vicente Guerrero Congregation in Río Blanco.

The chicken merchant named: Jesús "N", who wore: black shorts with flowers, a shirt and white tennis shoes, was intercepted, subjected and kidnapped by four men who carried rifles for the exclusive use of the armed forces.

Elements of the State Police, the National Guard and the Secretariat of National Defense went to the crime scene located on Reforma Street, who upon being informed of what happened proceeded to implement a search and location operation.

At the moment it’s unknown if the kidnappers have already established communication with the family to start the negotiation process for his release in exchange for a large sum of cash.
