Guanajuato club massacre leaves 11 dead, message left, 2 dancers abducted

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

A massacre was registered inside the La Cabaña del Toro bar,  in the municipality of Jaral del Progreso, Guanajuato,  after an armed commando entered and murdered 11 people.  It is located in the Bajío (lowlands) of the state of Guanajuato

In  preliminary reporting, the dead are identified as 7 men and 4 women, in addition to 1 injured person who was transferred to the hospital.

The massacre occurred early hours today when the emergency services were informed that several injured people in the nightclub located at the exit of Jaral del Progreso.

When the emergency services arrived, they confirmed that 11 people were dead,  they then cordoned off the area.

Details are sketchy at this point, it is only known that a commando arrived and fired arbitrarily at employees and customers and then fled.

The bar is reportedly a strip club and dancers were among those shot, additionally, 2 of the dancers were abducted.

Three criminal organizations claiming one plaza presents an even greater dilemma for Guanajuato business owners paying piso

The following information was sent in by a Borderland Beat Blog follower via comments:

The owner of the bar had reported threats for refusing to pay 50 thousand pesos a month to the new criminal organization called "Gente de el Azul."

In this region, there are two groups that call themselves representatives of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel, in addition to those already known as the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación.

The hostilities increase because the three criminal groups claim to be the owners of the plaza and the merchants must pay all three, a fee to avoid being singled out for working for the opposing group.

What is being reported:

11 Executed (7 Men and 4 Women)

 9 Wounded (female)

 2 Abducted

A Narco-Message was left behind allegedly signed by “Grupo De Los M” (Cártel de Santa Rosa de Lima)

No official word from state police agencies or the attorney general’s office.

    1. I don't think that it was because someone didn't paid. You don't go and kill so many people just for that. You go and kill the owner, burn the place but you don't go after customers like that...

    2. Well at the scene there was cartulinas signed by los M witch pretty much confirms that added information.

    5. You kill everyone so that the message gets sent to all those that think they can play games. Be more afraid of them and pay them before all others or its gonna be a blood bath.

    6. 1228 I agree with 701, it's called collateral damage, no payment of piso, that's what happens. If the owner was not going to pay piso, he and his buddies should have armed themselves and shoot them.

    7. Too much abuse, not paying what you owe is a baasd thang.
But in the middle of this wave of terror, the 10 year veteran of the justice procuration of the state just named fiscal general for 10 more years Carlos Zamarripa to have no barricades all over the state for crime prevention while governor diego sinhue keeps bitching against AMLO and spending $500 000.00 peisos every month in "rent" for additional extra super luxurious offices, (7 million peisos a year with taxes).
Guanajuato knows who the criminals are, diego sinhue and carlos zamarripa and their SSP del Estado de Guanajuato, and their PAN PARTY.

    8. Cartulinas are not proof, fingreprints could be evidence, confessions count, even if exacted with the cattle prod up the ass of the presunto culpable or if he confesses voluntarily through death threats or cachetafas guajoloteras.
The owner could tell who was extorting him or she, or give the Local Private Security Corporation the job, that one happens to be the most prbable perpetrator of these Benghazi Style crimes

  3. Before some of you guys start quoting the title of the article "AMLO says there are no more massacres" be advised that the title is misleading. He says there have not been government ordered massacres under his administration that will not be condemned, referring to what happened in Guerrero with the normalistas.

  4. CDS can’t handle the war in Sonora la barredora is too much for them so they need every little resource they can get and cannot keep funding el Azul so now you got these garbage extorting innocents. You even got Mayo Zambada stealing cigarettes in zacatuercas

  5. Off topic but this link here states an article that during Genaro Lunas term as Mexico's secretary of defense it was common to for CDS to betray it's own capos for the sake of the Cartel. It also states that it was a farce to say the government was going after CDS ny stating for example that 380 CDS members captured during his term represented only 8.9 percent of the total cartel members captured from all cartels combined. Way louder for all the nutthuggers in the bqck that think CDS sicarios are the best!

    8. Arturo Beltran Leyva was murdered by the marinas, orders of FECAL and garcia luna, because of all his business and money, and because he made garcia Luna pooop his panties whwn he chased and abducted his ass to tell him "if he did not deliver on his promises he would be it", genarco took care of business, he was more evil, El Chapo escaped because he kept up with his payments and was too far from Ciudad de Mexico, but did not direct the fall of el Barbas, or of Nacho Coronel, vicente zambada niebla, vicente carrillo fuentes, vicente carrillo leyva or el rey zambada or his son's arrest, singing and murder, blame fate all you want but the powers that be were all the federales and chilangos.

    9. Sure. Someone talks the truth about CDD and nutthuggers come out in force to defend these guys.
Talk something about another cartel and that cartel is the worse of the worse not worthy of praise like they praise CDS.

  12. As for the 2 girls abducted they were dancers so they probably only want them for sex which if they’re returned safely there’s no problem with that, as a stripper you should expect that kind of stuff since it’s a lifestyle not just a job you get into

    1. @ 234 so because they are strippers they deserve to be kidnapped and raped? I don't think that comes with the job description..
