Virtual and Private...El Marro's first hearing is held

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat  Reforma

"My brother was abducted, tortured, even marked as an animal, so I ask that the process be private and without spectators."

The detention control hearing against José Antonio Yépez Ortiz, "El Marro", was held virtually and privately in Guanajuato, at the request of his defense.

Initially, the process was carried out in front of the media in the Orality Court located next to Cereso Mil in Valle de Santiago.

However, the lawyer for "El Marro" and the other detainees asked that the hearing be private.

The defender argued that in other judicial processes, in which he has also represented relatives of "El Marro", attorneys were put at risk by the information disclosed, adding that his own family has suffered attacks by a criminal group of Jalisco, without directly mentioning the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación.

"My brother was abducted, tortured, even marked as an animal, so I ask that the process be private and without spectators."

After the release of the mother of José Antonio Yépez, who was held in Cereso de Puentecillas, CJNG executed one of the lawyers who represented her.

The judge in charge of the hearing accepted the petition, which had been seconded by the State Attorney General's Office, and therefore ordered a recess and vacated the room.

The process continued virtually with the leader of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel being held in the Puentecillas prison and the judge in Valle de Santiago.

"El Marro", will be tried for kidnapping first, also accused of kidnapping in the common jurisdiction;; Raúl Alberto "N", alias "Diente"; Silvestre "N", Saulo Sergio "N", "El Salulo", Guillermo "N" and José Cruz "N".

Do you want him to upload a video? Go to your house and say it? Go to the people in government and say it? Do you prefer people to not express themselves unless it's tailored to your liking?

  7. No estoy de acuerdo con lo que anduvo haciendo El Marro. Pero tampoco me gustaría ver qué llegaron los prepotentes de el CJNG al estado de Guanajuato a dar sus órdenes en terrenos ajenos.

  12. I am happy his family has been tormented. They were all involved in his business and profited from same. They should all be lined up and executed as they ALL live on blood money.

  13. Marro was killing tortilleros in Celaya for not paying piso. I hope Guanajuato sees some peace from this. Viva Mexico! Viva ALMO!
