Video, Hidalgo: A trip to OXXO for milk, ends in an execution

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat  video @loba_indomable

The unidentified man went to buy milk at an OXXO, and met his executioners.

A man buying milk at an OXXO was gunned down, caught on security camera. The OXXO on Paseos del Almo Avenue in the Paseos la Pradera neighborhood, in the municipality of Atotonilco de Tula in the central state of Hidalgo, just north of Mexico City.

As the man was waiting his turn in line, when around 0:51 a sicario enter the OXXO and immediately incapacitates his target and it appears his gun jams at the time the second gunmen enters and without breaking a stride pumps in another 5 shots into the victim.

The first sicario yells to get the cell phone.  Apparently, his gun is unjammed because he then shoots two unnecessary shots into the victim.

The black dog who was resting peacefully before the sicarios began shooting, was long gone out the opened door. Witnesses say the two sicarios arrived on a motorcycle

  1. Was he a Random innocent man buying milk. Was he a rival sicario, drug dealer, or even user who owed money?

    1. It sounded like the sicario that shot him first grabbed his attention by calling his name or nickname

    1. Except for the the gun that jammed on him probably because low quality ammo or gun itself was low quality. Or the gun was poorly maintained. Or all of the above. I want something with me that I know is gonna work, taken and proven at the range. Cleaned afterwards.

    5. 10:39 I addressed the cell phone in my text, but i wasn't sure he was saying that or referercing his cell phone which he dropped. don't know. Cell phones are cheap in mx. so unless it is a narco it wouldn't he a priority.

GUN PEOPLE i have a question. Is it 9mm that frequently jams? why?

    6. Why didn't they rob the store cash and employees! vast majority of robberies is a threat to shoot and if the victim(s) don't comply then perhaps they are shot. Too many shots for just a robbery. They obviously wanted this hombre very dead!

    7. Chivis, the caliber of the weapon is really not a factor. Weapon and ammo quality, weapon maintenance are the main reasons.

    8. thank you. I once had a 9mm my husband bought me for protection, a home we have is on 10 acres and spooky when alone. it jammed first time out to target range. all of the ammo was top notch as well as weapons that's why I asked.

As it turns out the gun scared me I had a habit of closing my eyes when shooting. so i threw it in the lake. last year my husband threw his ar15 in the lake. and now only has a handgun, really for safety against bears while walking in the woods.

I used to have pepper spray. Then one night someone was breaking in. I was alone and got my spray out. just before i called 911 (this was in the city) i tested the canister and sprayed myself. I was trying to talk to 911 and could only screech. kinda like the time i ate black beans with powerful carolina reapers, can't get an intake breath.

anyway, the breakin guy ran off when i sounded the alarm, just damaging the lock on french doors. obviously he/she thought no one was home. it was more comedy than anything. I knew then I am lousy in a security threat and I should not have a weapon, I am better with dogs and alarms.

    9. Ouch. Pepper spraying yourself is painful, and pretty damn funny as well. I'm glad the outcome was good. My wife prefers a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver because when you pull the trigger it goes bang 99.99% of the time. P.S. I can tell you from personal experience that wasp spray works better than pepper spray. I can laugh about it now.

  8. That many shots for a robbery? I think they robbed him on top of killing him. These poorly paid sicarios got to get what they can. Why not rob the store too?

    1. OXXO's hardly ever have proper change and you have to wait for it. I think they wanted to exit quickly.

    2. When the sicario came into the store it sounded like he said, "Jose" and the victim whipped his head around when he heard it. This is how sicarios identify their victim sometimes, say their name or nickname and see if they react.

  9. Some glock 9mm's are prone to jam, specially when used with cheap knock off clips. 1st sicario gets the classic stove pipe jam & attempts to clear it by racking the slide, which creates a double feed. If the target had been armed, the results could have been a little different.

    1. Glocks are known to last a long time, along being used with original manufacturer clips, I practice twice a month, the secret to the gun is cleaning and lubricating after use, a not well maintained gun will cause jams.

    2. Marc2020 yup you k ow what’s up. Glocks have never jammed on me ever.. I’ve fired 200+ rounds from a glock 19 barrel got white hot but it never jammed

    3. I have shot glock 9mm handguns since 1992 when I got robbed and put face down on the ground and my hands duct taped behind my back...the next day I went out and purchased a Glock 17 Gen 2...
since then I have owned 9 different versions of the Glock...All 9 MM.....I have never had a jam or misfire...I have shot junk ammo....reload ammo....clean or dirty I have never had a problem....That Punk Sicario was limp wristing or shooting with letting his wrists flex with the recoil and he got a stove pipe jam....I can do it intentionally by letting the recoil flip my wrists....these Buffoons just watch movies and don't train....also the guy at the counter needs to be watching his area....he got took completely by surprise...just like i did in 1992....NO MORE...I AM ON THE LOOKOUT ALL THE TIME...DRIVES MY WIFE CRAZY....I just tell her....you weren't the person laying on the ground with your hands duct tapped!!!!

  10. Kind of sad to have to live in a country where life is cheap and no one is safe. Also, the police and politicians are corrupt.

This was clearly an execution, robbers s don't continue to pump bullets into someone. The victim could have been involved in criminal activities or simply crossed someone that is. The women were lucky they were not executed as well or didn't get shot from a ricochet. The dog was smart to get the hell out of there.
