Captured: the shocking moment when hitmen chase the victim and kill him from behind (video)

A camera recorded the moment when a young man was trying to escape from two hitmen, who finally reached him and killed him by the streets in Acapulco.

In social networks circulating a video showing the moment a man was shot in the back and killed in the tourist city of Acapulco , in the state of Guerrero , this amid the violence that increasingly is more noticeable because of the battle of drug trafficking groups that seek to take control of the area.

The violent event that was captured by a security camera occurred on August 16 at 5:00 p.m. in the municipality of Acapulco, Guerrero.

At first it is seen that a man of orange t-shirt and bermuda shorts runs while being chased by his attackers: one dressed in black sweatshirt, denim bermudas and cap; another wore black shirt and red bermuda shorts.

The black sweatshirt hitman shot at the victim and managed to take him down, while the other attacker approached moments later to give him another shot and finish him off.

Fortunately, the hitmen were arrested by soldiers patrolling the place, this as part of the strategy implemented by the Mexican Government to reduce crime rates.

According to Mexican authorities, three drug cartels and five criminal cells have a presence in the state of Guerrero.

This is the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) that has a presence throughout the state, and operates in partnership with La Familia Michoacana, led by the Johnny Hurtado Olascoaga brothers, "El Pez", and Alfredo Hurtado Olascoaga, "El Fresa" .

"Guerreros Unidos" is another of the narco groups that has a presence in the entity and are led by Walter Alfonso Deloya, "El Medusa" from prison.

In the north and center of the state, "Los Rojos" operate , which were led by Santiago Mazari Hernández aka "El Carrete" or "El Señor de los Caballos", who was arrested a few weeks ago.

“Los Ardillos” , are located in the region of the mountain and center of Guerrero, and are mainly directed by Celso and Iván Ortega Jiménez.

While the Acapulco Independent Cartel (CIDA), controls coastal areas and say intelligence reports are commanded by a subject identified as Irving Macedo Acevedo.

    2. I’m talking about the highest murder rate since 1997 last year and the fact it’s gonna probably get surpassed again this year. Go back to your safe space it’s a jungle out there

  4. Acapulco is barely covered on here. It’s daiky body parts and murder all in and out of the tourist zone. These guys caught will probably not see jail time. It’s such a shame to see what was a glorious glamorous resort turn into such a dangerous hell hole

    2. I am still down there 4-5 times a year. It's actually fine, for a tourist. Shit's quieter than it used to be, because tourism is mainly weekenders from CdMx. But it's hardy as bad as you see in the news.

That is speaking as a tourist. As a local, every day is dominated by security concerns. Where you go, when you go, who you go with, and how. That is what the past 10+ years of violence has ingrained in the locals.

  13. A couple of key additions to this story. There were 3 sicarios, which were pursued by the new national guard. One was killed, one was wounded and captured, the third got away.
