U.S. Coast Guard storms narco-submarine in huge Pacific Ocean drug bust

U.S. Coast Guard released intense footage of Cutter Munro crew members jumping on a self-propelled semi-submersible suspected drug smuggling vessel (SPSS) on June 18, 2019, carrying thousands of pounds of cocaine, while operating in international waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Munro offloaded more than 39,000 pounds of cocaine and 933 pounds of marijuana worth a combined estimated $569 million, which was seized in international waters in the Eastern Pacific Ocean from 14 separate drug smuggling vessel between May and June 2019.

Purpose-build smuggling vessels like SPSSs are designed to hold large quantities of contraband while evading detection by law enforcement authorities.

  1. Excellent catch, not only did they get the drugs, they also arrested the suspects. They will be serving hefty time and thier families are going to pay the price, for the lost loads, more likely by death.

    1. Are you serious? The narcos can’t even fight the Mexican military face to face.
Only by surprise can they kill them, and you think they can match The US Military

    2. Umm, el ardilla has been taken already. Please make another selection.

    4. I don't see nothing impressive about jumping on a submarine but then again I was in the NAVY.

    5. Coast Guard is not part of the military. They belong to Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

    6. Mexican military and marina are more skilled than US military. Mx militia have the skills to take on Cartel warfare. US militia aren't as experienced in that kind of warfare, and the US rely a lot more on intelligence collection than the Mexicans do. If Mexicans were given the same technological advantages that the US use, Mexicans would fucking eat USA alive, in regards to military effectiveness.

  3. Too bad the sub couldn't dive just a bit more..... they would need a scrap yard magnet to pull it up lol. Seems like a dangerous venture as a multi-ton SPSS is I presume steel or iron and very detectable on the radars they use now..... maybe 006 can design a polymer fiberglass SPSS for Mossad black op missions in the future.

    2. It wasn’t a Sub it was a semi sub. It can’t go submerge underwater

    3. Look up the old TV show Cocaine Wars filmed by NatGeo. The subs are made of mostly fiberglass.

    5. 12:42 - Nobody wants crack heads? Dealers want crackheads. They LOVE crack, they make so much money off it.

9:28 - Coke is a little more prevalent in the West now compared to say a decade ago, but not much. It’s mostly meth and heroin. But Europe is where cocaine usage has exploded.

    7. 4:56 actually Spain (the "biggest" coke market) is starting to see meth and heroin is coming back like it was in the 80s.

No one wants crack heads, do you even know drug dealers? they all get busted because of some informant smoking rocks froma cop. .

    8. @11:11, that is a scare tactic. No one I know has ever had fentanyl in their Coke, and I work in the car sales business, so half of them are coke heads

    1. 1:26 opioids producers have offshored and outsourced production to reliable confederates in Mexico, they were not going to abandon ship or their orphaned clients just because the legality expired with the US government, there is sooo much tax free money to be made in the black market of drug trafficking anyway...

  12. Someone snitchd- theres no way in hell the uscg would randomly catch 1 of these.. most of the time, they know weeks in advance the name of the loaded boat- its all a joke

    1. News reports that only 11% of these narco-subs are ever apprehended in the Pacific Ocean. So it is possible that was just a random lucky catch. Apparently, tje sub was caught due to being on the surface.

    2. It was chapo, you know how he rols

      Delete
    3. @10:56, I’m not saying that’s not possible but I think @6:48’s theory is more likely the true reason for the catch. Just like when highway patrol makes a “random” traffic stop and find 100 kilos. They had a tail on that car since before the hand off. It’s really difficult to catch people randomly. The snitch is LE best tool.

    4. Water Buoys- Can record boat locations and if you triangulate them their speed. Military has then all over the Pacific and Atlantic to protect against submarines and small vessels. They work like sonar.

  17. Even though USA is corrupt too, I honestly love USA. In America there is sooooooo much opportunity to make legal money and have fun live a healthy life have a family own property have human rights and safety. There are resources and help for people who are disabled or mentally ill or struggling. There’s laws and regulations and you can actually get a lawyer and go to court and fight your case in front of a judge. It’s crazy how many other countries cannot do what USA does. We have a powerful and effective military and navy and coast guard. We have advanced technology and intelligence to protect our country. I love being a Us citizen and living and working in USA. I love my rights and my freedom and my job and the benefits I receive every day of my life. I feel bad for the innocent people who suffer in Mexico and Latin America and Africa. Just because of the fact that Mexico is our neighbor, I think USA should stop letting Mexico bully us and we should send troops down there to wipe out these cartels.

Not sure about the whole send troops down there, but I understand the desire to want these cartel guys get their due for all the crimes against humanity they have committed.

the Mierda Initiative produced hundreds of thousands of Mexican deaths as anticipated by foes of the idea, 3 billion dollars a year that financed foreign masked mercenaries and their war ON drugs was warned about before, during and after by United Nations and Worldly Human Rights organizations, but nobody listened to their broken record rants... Like they don't listen to the reports of hunger, death, pestilence and famine in Yemen, caused by weapons "sold" to the Saudis to make jobs for Americans and commissions for the weapons sellers favorite charities, their own.
