    1. A lot of these musicians that keep getting killed are actually good singers. Unfortunately, many of us don’t know about them until after their deaths.

  16. Narco-corridos glorify violence...Same with ghetto rap in the USA. Totally harmless... just cheerful music to dance and fuk by.
Talk with psychologist and sociologists about music's power and spin-off effects they have on people. While not perfect, the kinds of music we like say something about or values, world view, and who we are.

P.S. years ago I interview a rapist who was into heavy metal music. He taught me a number of mind-blowing things that , in part, explained his sicko problems. Among, other things, I learned that heavy metal is "layered" with evil meanings only aficionados can tap into.)

    1. Dude.... 99% of musicians are playing for fame, fun and girls... They don't put that much effort into meaning s most of the time.

  17. Many cantantes ( singers) are always under constant threats, some because theyre singing about how cool their enemy is or how awesome the cartel life is, or maybe they sing real awful. Now, did this guy deserve to die? maybe, some cantantes are part time drug dealers so this isnt much of a suprise. As said in this article, it was real balsy of him to go to to a damn plaza in TJ.
