Police Find Drugs, Guns and Hundreds Of Thousands Of Dollars At "El 8"s Farm

Guadalajara, Jalisco - In a search conducted on the farm of Adrián Alonso Guerrero Covarrubias, El 8, presumed operator of the Jalisco Cartel Nueva Generación (CJNG), elements of the Third Investigative Agency, in coordination with the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena ),  located drugs, weapons and thousands of dollars.
In the building that is located in Giovanni Papini street, Colonia Jardines de la Patria, in Zapopan, the authorities found 41 long and 74 short weapons, one of them of collection; four short-gun loaders; 231 cartridges of different calibers and 11 grendades. They also found two safes where they were had in one, $279,854 dollars (5.3 million pesos), and in another, 1,098,000 pesos($58,539), in addition to 11 packages with "a crystalline substance"

The inspection began on the afternoon of last Wednesday and ended on Thursday. "El 8" was captured on Tuesday, the 9th and the next day transferred to the Federal Center for Social Readaptation (Cefereso) of Gómez Palacio, Durango, accused of organized crime and crimes against health. According to the authorities, Guerrero Covarrubias, who was part of the inner circle of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho, operated in the highlands of Jalisco and southeast of Guanajuato, where he fought against the territories of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel.

      For real though I think since it was in a safe that needed cracked there is gonna have to be something reported. But you can bet your sweet ass there was prob a hell of a lot more money in those safes.

    I am sure they just borrowed the weapons "captured" from their own supplies or evidence room for show and tell. At least they did not murder any innocents like in Tlatlaya or delivered them to Arturo bermudez Zurita, ta cabron que Los cachen de chaqueteros.
