  1. is there a plausible way to curb violence without American intervention?
each day that goes by I begin to think there isn't

    1. Pleeze! History shows that outside interventions often have unintended consequences. IMO, the USA has to let Mexico fix its own problems internally. Mexico corrupted itself beginning with the racists, genocidal treatment of its native peoples. Its social stratification of people based on blood mixtures and enslavement of its own people of "inferior" types ...(with the blessings of the RC Church) go way back to Cortez and continue to this day... "if" one cares to look.

Anyway, IMO, Mexico is not anywhere close to making itself a peaceful and stable nation in this 21 Century. Mexico is actually dominated by privileged greedy families who chose to get in bed with criminal entities such as the narco cartels.

Mexico tolerates what goes on ... there is no "Ya vasta!" cries or actions of any significance that I can see. Yeah, the "Marina" is touted ... but, overall, it can't deal with the magnitude of the overwhelming problem of corruption and violence everywhere. Remember, our hero, Dr. Mireles? What happened to him and the AD movement.

The USA, IMO, must deal with its own internal problems (corrupt politicians, FBI, leftists radicals, fake news MSM, illegal immigration, decaying infrastructures, foreign affairs, Islamic agents, killer narcotics,etc.). It already has way too much on its plate of problems to "interfere" in Mexico's. Besides, sometimes when you try to help people resent the help and actually end up enemies worse than before.
Please, by all means stay the Hell out of Mexico .... even if they beg for help.... no good will come of it!

    2. I see your point @ Mexico Watcher.
Majority of US interventions worldwide have come under serious political scrutiny. Assistance by any country comes with a price.
America needs to address its issues with great emphasis to its people and not those politically motivated.
Something that many Washington bureaucrats fail to recognize. Putting geopolitical reasons before American interests.

      Good comment Mexico Watcher

    3. There has been too much murdering in Guanajuato lately, but in this report I Don't see anybody accusing CJNG, except for some commenters that need to clean their calzones, I mean their act
There is more chances of this being done to misled or it is a police or army abuse, because there is too much daylight.

    6. The only intervention is for the U.S to legalize and alot of this goes away.

    7. Even if we were to send stealth bombers, special forces, etc.. The question is, how corrupt is Mexico to the point they would Even be attacking our own forces to protect the bad guys.
I mean if we wanted to we could drop some nasty stuff from a drone onto their operations, but then again, they are already doing that to themselves. (Sometimes with drones)

    9. Why would Americans intervene in Mexico's internal problems , people who ask this make me wonder , how do you intent to stop killings/violence by a military intervention, it would be like trying to stop a fire with a flame thrower

“wonder , how do you intent to stop killings/violence by a military intervention, it would be like trying to stop a fire with a flame thrower”

Yep, in fact we stopped the nazis in Germany by giving them flowers and hugs... not by killing the shit out of them like the dogs they were...

    11. 7:27 intervention would mean a deluge of privatization of everything Mexico, the US might even recover ownership of the Virgin of Guadalupe under guise of religious fervor...
Once they conquer they never want to go home, Remember Iraq?

  3. What's the reason behind it? If that ruthless cartel kills, ladies and kids, then it should always be green light for police, to kill criminals on the spot.

    2. I see your point.
But, how can one distinguish who are and are not criminals?
I would be dandy if this application were sound and true from scrutiny due to Mexico's human rights issues.

    3. 11:47 as long as curuption and criminal cartels roam in Mexico, we will continue to have articles on BBeat. I am sure the Marina's, want to be like Rambo, and get rid of the problem, but they have to follow orders from, the chain of command, that of course me and you know are getting bribed.

    2. Not sure how true this is but one time my cousin from CDMX came to visit us in California and was talking how my cousin’s (from US) Chrysler 300 looks like a narco. I asked why you say that. She said top only top narcos drive 300s. And what made me believe my cousin was when my cousin with the 300 went to TJ and got pulled over by some people and told him to never come to TJ ever again in his 300.

    3. Chrysler Jeep Dodge is garbage pero los narcos want to look like tintos driving the most popular gabacho auto maker no matter how shitty it is. And NO, top narcos don’t drive 300 they drive in beat up cars so they are not recognized or bring attention or in bodyguarded convoys usually big SUVs

  6. Complicity of criminal activities will always put family in jeopardy.
    Perfect example.

For those who doubt that this was an innocent civilian? Pretty sure his honorable profession would have been disclosed.

    2. 124 ok point out the obvious... does that justify the murder rate in Mexico bc murder happens
Throughout the world?? Tijuana IS the murder capital of the world and it’s in Mexico just like Cazadora Avenue is... and this blog is about Mexico...
Mexico must own its problems and stop placing blame so don’t make it sound as if it’s justified...

    1. 3:31 Blackwater must have been training those Mexican military, they used to do that exact thing in Iraq...
Shut to kill, let God pick the, good ones used to be the instruction since Vietnam, where they also raped some thousands of "enemy women" before killing them to make it worth their while.

    2. Blackwater was not in Vietnam,
but Vietnam veterans are in Blackwater, getting them billion dollar contracts, like deferral artist veteran of 5 draft dodges and movie artist ("VICE") Chick Deney and the other one commissioning back channels to Russia.
