El Chapo Trial: Jury has questions on count nine 2 others-jury finished for the day

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

Whoa…what does this mean?

In one hours the jury already had questions, which were answered by the judge and they returned to the deliberation room at 2:45

A young Hispanic woman was chosen as foreperson.

Questions were on count 9.  As in count 9 of 10. [firearms count see below]

Does that mean they have decided 8 counts already?

That very well could be.  Or it could mean they are knocking off those counts they were closer to reaching a decision and leaving the others for last.

It is not uncommon to take a vote and “see where they are at” before discussions.

The three inquiries from the jury:

1.  "Is a 'drug war' considered part of a drug trafficking crime?
2.  The jurors want their own individual verdict sheets.
3.  They asked when they could get the evidence photos. And asked, "Is ephedrine considered the same as methamphetamine?"

OJ Verdict= 4 hours

  1. You know what would be crazy... if Chapo some how managed to pay each juror a million dollars for a innocent verdict. What's 12 million when you paid 50 million for a prison escape. That would be some shit... you could probably disguise that money as revenue from the book you just wrote about being a juror.

    6. He would only need to pay one to get a hung jury. That would give him some time to dig a tunnel from the 15th floor of MCCNY.

    2. I was convicted of a crime that I witnessed but a person said they saw me their and I ended up with conspiracy of a crime. Sometimes I wonder if you really are innocent til proven guilty. Spent 3 months in jail while going to court.
