El Chapo Trial: "Blood thirsty Chapo even killed family" here is the backstory

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

Details surrounding the killing of; Chapo cousin Juancho, El Guacho and El Güero

Prosecutors described El Chapo as “bloodthirsty, even killing family members”.  That may or may not be true, but this is the story which begins in 2010.

The family member is the cousin of El Chapo, Juan Guzman Rocha aka Juancho.  He was a Sinaloa Cartel enforcer working in the Los Antrax group.

When he was arrested Manuel Fernández Valencia, aka “La Puerca”, confessed to Federal Police that he personally knew El Chapo.

He also told authorities about the death of his son, Marcial, [below] who died on August 29th of 2010 in Culiacán.   It was a case of mistaken identity; the assassins thought Marcial was the son of El Chapo because he was driving a white Ferrari. Alfredo Guzmán drives a Lamborghini of the same color. When the killing happened, it was initially reported in the press as the son of El Chapo.
Marcial
A day later, he received a phone call from Chapo, the capo expressing his condolences and pledged his support, saying that he would stand by his friend in this time of grief, while vowing he would get find those who were responsible for the Marcial's murder.

“La Puerca” says that a month later, El Chapo's son came to inform him they had found the man who had murdered his son, and the person was Israel Rincón, alias El Guacho.

El Gaucho was interrogated while being videotaped and was executed  by October 5th.

In a U.S. memo it states;
Mr. Guzmán was fighting another competitor, the Beltrán Leyva organization; he received word that one of its top lieutenants, Israel Rincón Martínez, had been kidnapped by his henchmen. According to the memo, Mr. Rincón was shuttled between a series of El Chapo properties, where he was tortured and questioned by El Chapo’s cousin, Juan Guzmán Rocha. Even though Mr. Guzmán ordered the interrogators not to kill Mr. Rincón to wait until he arrived, however his order was not followed, and the memo claims that by the time he arrived, Mr. Rincón was dead.
According to the Chicago indictment, Juan Guzman Rocha was a key contact of twin brothers Pedro and Margarito Flores, Chicago drug dealers who ended up cooperating with U.S. drug agents, and will be star witnesses in this trial.
The corpse of Israel Rincón Martínez [below] was found riddled with 7.62 mm rounds from an AK-47. Along with the body was a message that denounced all murderers, rapists and thieves, pledging to cleanse the city of those criminals and provided a phone number to report anyone suspected of being guilty of these crimes.

Also in the message were the names and photos of Arturo Héctor Beltrán Leyva, Vicente Carrillo Fuentes, Heriberto Lazcano, El lazca, Édgar Valdez Villarreal, La Barbie, Israel Rincón Martínez, El guacho o El Miki, Cristiano Urías, Antonio Araujo, Jorge Iribe Araujo, and Osiel (Cárdenas).

On December 16, 2011 authorities in Sinaloa found two bodies, one was identified as Juan Guzman Rocha alias “el Juancho”.

The bodies had multiple bullet impacts, were gagged and dumped on a rural road in the town of Aguaruto.  The second man was identified as Jose Miguel Bastidas Manjarrez aka ‘el Guero Bastidas”

There were no bullet casings or pooling of blood so it was presumed the men were killed elsewhere.

Puerca
In the interrogation of Rincón Martínez he confesses to participating in a meeting where he was informed that El Chapo was the one responsible for the fall Alfredo Beltrán Leyva, alias El Mochomo. He also says he received a phone call from Arturo Beltrán Leyva, who questioned him on his loyalties. El Barbas asked him, “Who side are you on?” He allegedly responds “With Alfredo's people,” although he had started his criminal career with El Chapo.

Rincón Martínez says he felt obliged to stay with the Beltrán Leyva cartel because to say otherwise meant certain death. He also states this was totally confusing for him because he always thought El Chapo was not the one responsible for the arrest of Mochomo, and he had speculated that the whole thing was just being used for an excuse to start a war.

El Chapo’s son Ivan, after losing every legal avenue, was suddenly released from Altiplano a couple of months after the arrest of Alfredo Beltran Leyva.

La Puerca is the brother of Guadalupe Fernandez Valencia.  Guadalupe has a plea change hearing scheduled at the end of this month.  Puerca already cut a deal.  Both are potential cooperative witnesses in the Chapo trial.

The superseding indictment alleges that Guzmán and Zambada were also behind the assassinations of Raul LNU, known as “Robachivas,” and Julio Beltrán.

Both Chapo and Mayo are also accused of murder conspiracy and attempted murder of members of the Beltrán, Carrillo Fuentes, Zeta and Felix Arrellano cartels.  They are accused of being the assassinations of Raul LNU, known as “Robachivas,” and Julio Beltrán.

El Chapo has not been charged in Mexico for the alleged murderers of these individuals.

Chapo is charged with conspiracy not actual murder, Below part of the government "kill list" that will be evidence in the trial-click to enlarge

  1. It doesnt matter who killed him. Chapo will never escape the American's. One's he serves his time he will be gunned down in mexico by the CIA just like Griselda Blanco. His days of escaping are over. Once the U.S. has you its game over.

    1. My question here is how is the CIA and DEA clean on this they too should be brought to justice because they too have in on all the movements chapo and any other cartel make and they get paid high money too.

    2. 8:48 Chapo wont be gunned down unless he is acquitted . If convicted , when his time is completed , he will have been decomposing for a couple hundred years

    3. 907 just because CIA, DEA helped in his arrest does not mean they are bad guys. Chapo played with fire, and now it time to pay the concenquences.

    5. Chapo will get hundreds of years, so he's never going to be free again.

On the "how are the CIA and DEA" clean ... give it a rest. Conspiracy theories to wash your hands of the mess that cartels made in Mexico. 250,000 dead, thousands of mass clandestine graves, unknown numbers missing and several states that are effectively failed states and I'm sure someone here will say "yeah, but the U.S. has school shooters". What a joke!

    6. EL CHAPO IS JUST A PAWN IN A GAME PLAYED BY PLAYERS WE NEVER HEAR OF. THOSE PLAYERS COLLECT BILLIONS IN BRIBES AND NEVER GO TO JAIL.

THE CARTEL OPERATIVES ARE LOW-LIFE LOSERS WHO ARE EASILY REPLACED BUT MAKE GREAT NEWS.

    7. Exactly- even if he somehow beats this case (99% hes found guilty imo) he has like 20 other cities that have charges on him- hes going to ADX- And he'll never be heard from again-

    8. Even if these allegations are true how and why is he being charged in the US for murders that occurred in Mexico? This all sounds like bullshit to me.

    11. @6:25 if you read the article, it states that he is not being charged for murder, not even in Mexico.
However he is being charged for conspiracy of murder. Even ifhis charges are based on crimes in Mexico, Under RICO laws he is labeled a kingpin of a transnational DTO and the fact that his DTO operates in Mexico and the US means that he can be charged for crimes committed in Mexico because according to the US Government, those actions affect how his people operate in the USA such as drug related crimes can go up and shit like that, and yeah sounds like bullshit because drug crimes in the us are committed by people here with no direct connections to him, but when the government want to make an example of you and send a warning they will do it no matter how they do it.

    12. @9:07 the DEA and any other agency will not be brought to justice because they are who enforce justice wether it's good justice or simply on their best interest. If the cops from your local police department have a great chance of getting away with abusing their power, then these federal agents have a greater chance of not getting in trouble

  2. Israel Rincón Martínez was hunted down by group of operatives from Gente Nueva Ghost Recon Unit and Antrax SAS Division.

Juan Guzmán Rocha and el Guero Bastidas went rogue and started moving weight without approval from los patrones.

Arturo Beltran and El Lazca were killed by la Marina but within their ranks we have Gente Nueva assassins exterminating all CDS enemies. our training with Mossad and MI6 has given us the skills to infiltrate the Marinas to eliminate los contras.

  5. The show’s Colombian arc drew a portrait of a country contending with a cancer deep within itself: the Colombian state clashing against the country’s merciless criminal organizations.

It’s a violent tale of national survival. However flawed, Colombian authorities appeared willing to lead the struggle versus Escobar and his Cali rivals. The Mexican story is quite different. Narcos presents Mexico as a country beyond saving.

No authority figure eludes the grip of corruption. Local law enforcement, governors, Cabinet members, prominent businessmen, the armed forces, and the most fearsome intelligence agency in the country all protect Gallardo’s Guadalajara Cartel. Gallardo and his accomplices, fellow kingpins Rafael Caro Quintero and Ernesto “Don Neto” Fonseca Carrillo, seem able to buy anyone and everyone to further what Gallardo calls his “empire.” Unlike the Colombian side of the story, there are no courageous politicians or clean law enforcement officials even remotely willing to face the narco menace. The Mexican state is not a victim of crime; instead, it seems to be fully complicit and even co-responsible. “Authorities in Mexico played an active role in Félix’s criminal operation,” Luna told me. “Officials high up in the food chain got rich along with the cartels. The state protected the business, a business so lucrative that everyone got their share.”

    1. This is clearly evident. Yet, no ties have broken from countries who condone and participate in criminal activities.

The reality is, political interests far outweigh moral responsibility.

    2. Because a tv series says so. Narco's is garbage. Ever since the first season with its repetitive narration of what the viewer can see with their own eyes to it being weighed down in complete historical inaccuracy. Plus the terrible actor that played Escobar ad even worse a Puerto Rican playing Gacha!

The world of the drug cartel deserved a much better series than Narco's.

      3. He was going against the boss rules

    3. Maybe not, his sons where close friends with him.

Maybe he is, since these people are willing to kill even family members

Either way in the US Government's view, the fact that he's a high ranking leader of CDS makes him responsible for crimes committed by CDS Even if he didn't personally pulled the trigger or even if he didn't even gave the order, they're all equally responsible. Just as if you where with your buddies drinking, partying and all jump in one car and while driving down the road your buddy sees a guy who gave him dirty looks at the party and suddenly pulls a gun and Kills him, you're all getting busted for being on the same car.
