Veracruz: Clandestine Grave May Contain 500 Bodies

Translated by Yaqui for Borderland Beat from: UniMexicali

From November 3 to 9th, the search for clandestine graves will begin at kilometer 13 1/2  in Veracruz; after two long years of bureaucratic struggle.

Through an anonymous message addressed to Colectivo Solecito de Veracruz, as happened with Colinas de Santa Fe, ( another common grave location ) they were given the exact point to carry out the search.

"Just as the information came in about  Colinas de Santa Fe , this is how it came to us, so we do have hope, because when I joined in 2016, there was already a  lot of evidence. By means of a digital mail called Notinfomex, they tell us, it was addressed to us, sent anonymously, to the mothers of the Solecito Veracruz Collective who are looking for their children, with instructions to look in 143 1/2 zone and  there you will find them and we may find as many 500 bodies.

They sent us the map, the crosses and GPS coordinates, " said Rosalía Castro Toss, mother of Roberto Carlos Casso.

The Colectivo has been meeting for two years with bureaucrats to search for their missing children

The work will be carried out by the Solecito Colectivo de Veracruz and the Attorney General's Office (PGR).  The area is located very close to the expansion of the port in the northern area of the municipality of Veracruz.

"There are four to five points that includes those coordinates, it is very extensive, the first point is what corresponds to Apiver, who has kindly offered all their support," said Rosalía Castro Toss.

The point that needs to  be explored could have been used to bury bodies since  2010, according to the indications that mothers have found when comparing their investigations.

They will ask the federal authorities to provide security for the search tasks, and to prevent the entry of other people to the property from the beginning of the work.

    4. PAN vs PRI "politicos" trying to save their arse while trying to screw their rivals, but Javier "La Marrana" Duarte de Ochoa is the worst of the whole bunch, he made the most money from fraud to the state and collections from police and melitary that got their pie to split from extortion and ransoms collected from their vice and kidnapped victims since Duarte got close to former governor Z1#2 fidel Herrera beltrán along with SSP of veracruz arturo bermudez zurita, "el capitan tormenta", they also had their death squad "los fieles" doing their torture, murder, disappearance pantominas in the best tradition of colombia's "Falsos Positivos" of alvaro uribe velez...

  2. The true murder rate and missing numbers in Mexico are hidden from the public.

If the public truly knew how many people are being murdered, there would be an overthrow of their corrupt officials in one week.

    1. I am sorry to say that most of La Gente do know.
How can they possibly “overthrow” their corrupt govt in one week ?
The citizens are out gunned at every level.......I would love to see a peaceful solution, but with the situation as it stands that is a naive point of view.

    1. No budget for implementation of collections of self-incriminating evidence by the Mexican government at any level...
--AMLO may still do something, as much as nothing at all, he takes power on Dec 1st 2018, until then you can hope there is no state coup by the melitary whose "big boss" salvador cienpedos is bent on selling the military college and the Mexican defense properties installed on prime real estate worth the price of a thousand "La pinche gabiota's Casablancas", after all the 43 ayotzinapo's disappearances deserves a price worth their weight in gold.

  5. If this would have happened in the United States, the American government would have taken much different actions against the perpetrators.

  6. I’m sorry to say this. But this is the government that buried those bodies there. Bunch of John Does. No names that nobody claimed.

  7. This is what I don’t understand are these people all innocent? Are they victims of the CJNG matazetas Vs Zetas war? If they’re all in one spot then I’m assuming it was one side doing all the killing and since Duarte had ties with the Zetas I’d go with Zetas being responsible.
