"El Pistache", leader of La Unión Tepito, in Santa Fe, is arrested

This morning, elements of the Navy and the SEIDO captured David Garcia,  better known as "El Pistache", successor of "El Betito" in the leadership of the criminal organization "La Unión Tepito".

He was captured when he was in High Park, a luxury building in Santa Fe.

Mexican Navy conducted an operation for his capture, that ended in gunfire during the early morning in the neighborhood Narvarte Oriente, perimeter of the Benito Juárez delegation, in which three people were arrested, two of them were injured, so they were taken to a hospital.

According to the first reports, the sailors searched an apartment located on Zempoala Street, almost at the junction with Calzada Obrero Mundial, a building related to La Unión Tepito.

In the search, authorities seized drugs and weapons, so far authorities have not confirmed the capture, according to Carlos Jiménez.

  1. Maaaan it’s all politics at the end of the day. I been to a tepito dope house not to long ago and is sad how they use 2 apartments to their retail and 2 for the consumption of the heavier drug addicts, while the rest of the older neighbors including single women n kids that get minimum wage have to suffer in seeing day inn day out of their homes. I understand now why no one says nothing, they are actually very organized with look outs on walkie talkies and the street being patrolled by none other than the police from their in which they are paid to let them “work” in peace. Sad but the true reality here in Mexico. No matter how many ppl they catch some 1 will always be their to replace them and unfortunately sometimes that results in death encounters for the ppl that try and be that replacement Att...#knwmorethanuthink
