Guadalajara: Commander of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga is killed when he arrives home

Last night, when returning home, the commander of sector 1 of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, José Luis Flores Zimbrón, was assassinated.

The attack occurred at the intersection of Terranova Avenue and Nova Scotia, in the Villa Terranova subdivision, in Tlajomulco.

The officer, who was wearing  his police uniform, was aboard a Chevrolet Chevy vehicle white plates MXL-4248, from the State of Mexico, the vehicle received numerous bullet  impacts.

According to witnesses, the assailants were aboard a white Toyota Sienna station wagon, E68AVX, and in a black Hummer, plates JPH 3340, which fled towards 8 de Julio Avenue in a northerly direction.

After the homicide, the municipal president posted on his Facebook account: "Tonight Tlajomulco lost an exceptional, honorable policeman.  Commander José Luis Flores Zimbrón died in a cowardly attack while returning home. I share the pain of his family and of those who had the distinction of knowing him. "
So far this September, eight different elements of municipal and state corporations have lost their lives in different events.

With the execution of Flores Zimbrón ended a violent day of Monday in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, where the finding of four bodies in Tlajomulco and El Salto was reported.

In addition, in Tlaquepaque eight young people were abducted,  one of them killed. Two other homicides by firearms occurred in Tlaquepaque and in downtown Guadalajara.

    2. He knew he was a target regardless due to his position at work as Law Enforcement. You can't lax in Mex. He should have gotten bodyguard escorts to and from work. He needed to arm himself well, and never go unarmed. Then again, if they want you dead bad enough, you're screwed.
