FAKE NEWS: Reports of Miguel Ángel Treviño "Z40" being extradited to the U.S.

Chivis Martinez for Borderland Beat

Sorry folks!  This report of an indictment appears to be fake news.  Many credible main stream Mexican media also were caught up in the mistake.  Trevino was taken from the Juárez prison No.9 but only for a transfer within Mexico.  The location has not been disclosed as of yet.

It is common to conduct rotation transfers periodically and his last transfer was in 2017, when he was transferred from Maximum prison No.1, Altiplano to No.9 in Juárez.

The Mix Up occured when intense security,  including a Federal Police convoy, protected the transfer of Miguel Treviño, from  Juarez Cefereso 9 to the Abraham González international airport.

Early today, federal elements guarded the airport in preparation of the transfer.

Miguel Ángel Treviño Morales is a former leader of the Zetas.  He was captured in Nuevo Laredo in 2013 .

  1. These animals shouldn’t even brought to the states. They should just put a bullet in their head and call it a day😈 why give them life when they have taken so many.

I say let’s put them into this https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=162_1415329794 , feet first.

Or, alternatively, let’s hung them upside down in the public plaza after having dressed them in lingerie. Everything that the youngsters may find “fascinating” or “badass” about these cucarachas has to be destroyed, they have be exposed for the wretched, soulless, vile animals they are.

Destroy their honour, their machismo, don’t allow them to die like men, for they aren’t men.

    6. 2:28 at least a lot of it, if much of the money Mexican narcos have is imaginary, that is their problem.
On the US side, many dirty "white collar" criminals get away with murder when it comes to money laundering, whether from banking and their drug trafficking proceeds they always suspect but ask no questions to investments where only the name is furnished to make billions of dollars...
Example: Angela Merkel should ORDER Deutsche Bank to stop cooperating with Special Counsel Mueller after all they are all Deutsche Bank in Germeny, Russia or Cyprus and the US...

    1. Went downhill after Lazca's leadership came to an end. If Trevino had stayed loyal to Lazca, they would still be making moves to be honest. Trevino caused a massive divide in Zetas because their people saw the treachery.

  6. Sincere question: Wait, if the politicians are on the take from these guys, then who is authorizing these extraditions to "perdition"? Maybe mexico is not so bad, no?

    1. These guys are not pumping money to said politicians, therefore they are worthless (which they were from the begining of their miserable lives).

    2. It all really depends on who uncle Sam really wants. If the dea and us gvt get on Mexico's case hard for a certain capo then they feel pressured and extradite. Or if a powerful active capo has enough juice he can get his enemy extradited.

    4. 12:52 politicians in general are not so much "on the take" as they are behind these criminals, specially tamaulipas, eracruz, guerrero, coahuila and Puebla, then there is sonora, BC north and South, Sinaloa, jalisco, michoacan, morelos, Tabasco and Mexico City, noexican narcos bosses around a 60 000 man armies and billions of dollars in military spending plus federal, state and municipal pooice corporations with thousands of informers and halcones, moreira, yarrington, ugenio, La Marrana duarte, capulina duarte, fidel Herrera, guillermo padrés, graco ramirez, Borge, Rafael Moreno Valle, Mario marín among the most corrupt.
--Narcos like Z Chorrienta, barely able to draw with crayons, are not the worst criminals Mexico has to offer...

  10. There is NO such thing as a credible Mexican media outlet!

Even those that have not been corrupted or intimated are more opinion, injected with personal prejudices, than fact.

  22. I love how the indictment makes the gulf cartel seem like a company that only smuggles cocaine and marijuana. It's also from 2008 so it names the zetas as just an armed wing of the gulf still.

  23. Send Z40 to U.S. and he is as good as dead. The American's will never let him leave. He will go mad in the prison there too. Even the most ruthless killers have lost their minds locked up in American prisons.

    1. Mex drug kings are like oligarchs in US federal prisons. Mexicans are truly the rulers inside US jails, and they have nothing but respect for big names like Chapo or Z40. It's the image that counts. Even Italian Mafiosos live good lives inside Federal prison.
