Dr. José Manuel Mireles, founder of the self-defense groups in Michoacán, celebrated the ruling of a Federal Court that declared his absolute freedom and acquitted him of all charges.

He also reiterated via twitter, that the charges were fabricated, after he decided to save his people.

He is considered by many of having been a political prisoner incarcerated  for 2 years and 11 months in federal prisons.

His defense attorney reports they are considering filing a lawsuit against  former Commissioner Alfredo Castillo, the former Secretary of the Interior, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, and  President Enrique Peña Nieto, for false imprisonment and fabricated charges.

  1. Good luck trying to get any monetary compensation from Mexico. Moreover, with those mireles is filing suit against.
Suggest that he maintains a low profile before he realizes the perils in doing so.
AMLO has yet to take office to provide any protection and rid those political assinations.

    2. That reminds me. I wonder what AMLO thinks/says of Dr. Mireles...

Thanks to his imprisonment and the lack of MSM exposure, everyone has seemed to forgotten of the Doctor.

    3. @1;44PM Under the Mexican election system each political party on the ballot gets to appoint a number of Senators based on the amount of votes they got. Winning the election by over 53% Moreno has some Senatorial seats to fill and AMLO offered one of those to Dr. mireles (which he accepted). So in answer to your question AMLO must think Dr. Mireles is a good man.

    4. Actually it is deeper than that. He was fighting for Doc's release for years. Plus the Morena party. Doc's sis and Lito Mora were a big component of Morena as it switch from non profit org to political party in 2014.

  5. Wow things are surely done different in mexico . The judge actually ruled "Innocent" or "Not Guilty" ? Or were charges simply dismissed ?

    2. A acquittal in the USA usually happens when there is lack of evidence . After a acquittal these same charges cant be brought back up for the same thing . This really sounds more like a dismissal to me but Mexican law is different I suppose . A dismissal can be brought back up again if the statute of limitations don't run out . What I like is when the evidence is found to be obtained illegally . Man your home free on all of it.

  7. In Mexico it is impossible to tell the difference between the government and the criminals. That is because they are the same.

  8. Great news! I hope he sues the hell out of all of them.
Especially under the administration of AMLO. Also hope he runs for office. Mexico is starving for good honest people like Dr. Mireles. May god be with him.

    1. 8:15 Dr Mireles has been denigrated even as he has been telling since he became known that he is not looking for political office, even refused to be plurinominal senator, federal, where he just gets named to the senate, with power and money.
He ran for michoacan congress instead, close to home.
I hope his pension is restored even if he has to work the two or three more years he needed to reach jubilation, (retirement) before Mexican IMSS instituto Mexican del Seguro Social is privatized by international globalist merchants of death.

    2. to be honest doc told me that he needed another 18 months of service to get his pension. so I am not sure what changed that.

      Delete
    3. Prison changed that, Chivis, but he served the country because he did not quit. All he wanted was to be able to get.
--Now a book Author and probably working in politics I hope he gets revenge and it doesn't get to his head

  11. Sooo, what has castillo been up to? Surprised he hasn't been whacked already.

People like him destroy everything while hiding behind political power and having authority once that is up they run, run far away and move to another country where it is safe.

After their terms they should all be forced to live within the population and people.

  12. How come nobody talks about the truth about mireles when he started autodefensas? He didnt start the movement, it was el abuelo and mencho and they put mireles as the leader buot as mireles got more famous and power he started disobaing the bosses and doing it on his own, thats y mencho tried to kill him on the plane crash, he was coming back from guadalajara with a arsenal of weapons and a 17 year old girl, but that failed and thats when he got arrested, so yeah mireles was put as a leader and was finaced by mencho

    1. Please tell me more pink lady who is or was the 17 year-old girl u mention and what was she doing with him?

    2. Yes that sounds truthfully, that's why he has to kiss butt to Mencho.

    3. Is there any proof of this?
      If not its called slander!

    4. #6:18PM The 17 year old girl was a young girl from his hometown who he was dating with her parents permission. In Mexico, as in many other country's it is not unusual for older men to date and even marry much younger women. No one gives it a second look. I have lived in Mexico for 20+ years and have been married to my wife for 18 years. She is 30 years younger than me.

    5. Wait dd. Are you confirming that Mireles was under Mencho's order? Any proof of this stuff would make both of your words a whole lot more valid?

      Delete
    6. @2:17PM I have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Would you please tell me where anything I said could be interpreted to mean I was confirming Mireles was under Mencho's Order. That is ridiculous.

I have read and written about Dr. Mireles since I first heard about him in 2013. I thought then and still think he is a true hero of Mexico.

    7. Well autodefensas de Michoacana was not created until 2014. it is la chivis who knows about autodefensas and knows Mireles. where are all your written work about Mireles? Do a BB search what do you see?

    8. Actually it was the end of 2013. And I first communicated with Doc on September 27, 2013.

I was fortunate to connect with Doc early on. And he gave me the inside information and fotos. I was one of the last people he communicated with before his arrest. He sent me some fotos and spoke about a vote that night. but he was arrested before the vote.

Otis has posted a number of Mireles posts and I think my cousin also wrote a number of the same.

I was in contact with the filmmakers of Cartel Land and was going to do an interview, but at first look I did not like how Doc was portrayed. Later I watched again and thought it fair. I regret not agreeing to an interview. It went on to receive an academy award.

One thing I always worried about was Castillo told the press "we have his cell phone and will be investigating those he was in connection
and communicated with". I was very scared for a long while. but turns out he was just blowing smoke.

  13. Osorio got mad at EPN for his not choosing his ass for presidential candidate for PRI party, then Osorio went and formed his own mini-party, "Encuentro Social" and trew his support to AMLO...
I don't know if it helped AMLO or what Osorio gets out of it, but Osorio deserves NOTHING.

  19. Just one minute of wrongful unlawful arrest could lead to damages, maybe specially under the "new rules" of US Styled justice they are trying to impose in mexico...
Dr Mireles is lucky, nobody told him "Sir Arriba Las manos!
Y arrastrate Perro hijo de tu puta madre, orita te vamos a poner una chinga para que confieses"
--That is how the glorious Mexican police and melitary address their victims, when they are lucky and no fire from an helicopter above summarily executes them extra-judiciarily, makes them legal, or causes them false positives to "quit".
Dr Mireles is lucky everybody was watching...

    1. Everybody watched 3 years ago, when he was obviously forced into jail on false sentences and everyone watched him deteriorate from his illness. They all watched and they still all watch. Doesn't stop the Govt or the UN from doing anything about it. The only man that could fix this is Mireles. The people trust him, and he can become a autodefensa again. Fuck any Govt is all I can say. The people simply need a leader they trust and the rest will happen on it's own.

  20. Do you you think a lawsuit like that in Mexico will be successful?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Just take it out of the tax payers

  22. Sue for what? Mexico's legal system does not offer compensatory / punitive judgements. He can sue for medical expenses or lost wages, but that's about it. The lawsuits in the US system are worth it because of compensatory and punitive awards, but that is non existent in the Mexican legal system

  23. Their are reports that between 30 to 50 pickups drove up to the town of Antunez, Michoacán full of people fully armed and wearing plate carriers. The Cartel that operates in that town decided to run to the roof tops or hide instead of engaging that convoy. Reports said that convoy left around 12 am. Soon after the local cartel made a video telling the population that they didn't engage the convoy because they wanted to prevent innocent lives being lost. They mentioned seco, Tucan, and accused them of being killers and theifs while also stating they were towns folk.

Reports also mentioned that the convoy was screaming ya llego el resucitado while also mentioning that the convoy belonged to los locos del cerro.
