The Municipal Police of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, secured  an arsenal of 42 long weapons, including a 50-gauge Barret rifle, as well as four AK 47s, ie  "goat horns" plated in gold belonging to Los Aztecas gang - the armed wing of La Linea over a week ago.

The authorities of the  border  city reported that during an operation two vehicles were found with weapons that were to be delivered to a group of  sicarios , ie hit men.

The Municipal Public Security Secretariat said that this confiscation "significantly weakens the criminal structure of Los Aztecas, since those weapons were their property, and were to be used to commit homicides in different parts of Ciudad Juárez."
The Municipal Public Security Secretariat stressed that "this blow to organized crime was the result of research and intelligence work."

A total of 42 long weapons, four small arms, 77 different-caliber loaders, 2, 749 useful rounds of different calibers, as well as tactical equipment inside two abandoned vehicles in Colonia  Loma  Linda were confiscated.

"It was learned that in two old model compact vehicles would be transported a significant amount of firearms, which is why several covert operations were carried out,  they were located at the intersection of the Calle Isla Barbados  and  Calle Isla Tasmania , of the aforementioned Colonia, a grey 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, and a green 1994 Honda Accord which was reportedly on May 6, 2018.

" The agents could see  inside both vehicles several backpacks and bags, protruding from one of them the tip of a long weapon known as Barrett, which is why they proceeded to make an inspection inside, locating a total of 42 long weapons and four handguns, chargers, useful cartridges and tactical equipment, " the corporation said in a statement.

More than 30 units and about 80 police elements participated in the operation to protect the arsenal seized during its transfer to the PGR facilities.

Armaments secured: A Barret rifle 50 caliber BMG, 18 caliber 7.62 x 39 guns, two of them called "goat horns" bathed entirely in gold and two more with details in gold, ten .223 caliber weapons , four .308 caliber guns , two 12-gauge shotguns.

  2. This weapons catch was made just a few days before el 80's arrest and right after an Aztecas leader arrest conferming that the government is cracking down on La Linea and allowing CDS to enter the state.
Only a matter of time before other Linea members or Aztecas are arrested and so CDS can move in to Juarez.

  3. Guns, Guns,,Guns!
All in the wrong hands. These weapons should be handled down to those citizens to clean up their communities. A win win for military and municipal police. Rather a break from all those sleepless nights fighting these terrorist groups.
After all and done! Those corrupt government officials in their districts!

  4. Get real. This isn’t a blow to anyone. The corrupt federales will just sell them right back to whoever pays the highest price. Mexico is beyond a joke. All you estupidos want to point your finger at the USA to lay blame. The facts are that your culture is especially greedy for gain and allow the cartels free reign to rape, steal and kill with impunity.
Anytime a boss is brought down it’s only after the other cartels pay more piso. Mexicans are the problem with Mexico. FACTS.

    2. Typical response from everyone I talk to 4:27, it’s supply and demand blah blah blah. Mexico is being raped good people are paid penny’s to work and then you wonder why they turn to crime or the girls turn to the sex trade it’s deeper then supply and demand your government is failing you and you blame the USA? Mexico needs a revolution at this point I hate to say it it’s not going to get better unless the inner structure of Mexico is broken down and the wealth is spread out.

  7. Weapons idiot here. Doesn't the gold add a lot of weight to the AK-47, affecting its performance/reliability? Do these narcos actually use these guns or are they for show? Do gangsters in other cultures decorate and venerate firearms or is this a Mexican thing? And, once they obtain big guns like the Barrett rifle and grenade launchers, how do they get ammunition?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They get ammunition the same way they bought the launchers and barret rifle don't worry that's the easy part hard part is getting tons thru the border who sells a gun with no clip or for that matter balas don't you want to test it first cause if not I got a bridge to sell you

      Delete
    2. Sicarios could care less about performance. All they care about the status the gold plate gives them. More than likely the gold plated AK’s aren’t to go out and hunt their enemies. I would say they are good for pics.

    3. 8:10 weapons don't get gold plated with tons of gold bricks including inside the barrel or other openings.
Even powdered Gold Leaf would do a good enuff gold plate to a chamberpot.

  8. 8:10 Looks like those ak’s are for accidentally shooting up wedding receptions lol, and why would anyone buy a gun they couldn’t get ammo for?! But maybe that’s why they let them be confiscated

    1. Truth is American weapons dealers enhance their drug profits by selling the Mexican drug traffickers a LOT OF WEAPONS, but I am sure the weapons dealers make the mexican drug lords promise to be responsible adults and not shoot granma's panties on the next wedding crashing...

      Delete
    2. Man, shooting grandma on the panties is like cruel unusual punishment, unless they are hanging on the laundry rope on the front lawn.

  9. Gun sellers should be tracked and the weapons should be bathed in the crap in their ass, but who plants a cache of weapons like this on the street for the cops? only the cops, no other perp in sight, same shot with meth trucks caught in Baja Californias, no individuals caught, getting to be an old story after anohther, street sweepers can out yellow tape around the crime scene, why have the "higly trained" melitary and poolice around?

  10. Any weapons from german origin in this seizure? The socialist groups made headlines last week in Germany due to illegal arms trafficking by HK. But i barely read about German weapons.

  11. Oh boy the cops are great at staging their own bust. 700 lbs of meth and now guns Sticking out the window.. Just a hint of corruption.

  12. Gold plating shows prestige and power. It's shows I am a bad azz. Russia is also supplying the cartels with AK-47s, thru the Russian mafia.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Thats bullshit. Russian mafia is not doing arms trade from russia to mexico.
Why, its easier to buy them in the states or get them from south americas.
But yes i assume they are more used for prestige
