The Prosecutor’s Office has requested Interpol to issue a "red alert" for Miguel Eduardo Burgos Varela

by Marcos Vizcarra

Dayana, 5 years old
Miguel Eduardo Burgos Varela, municipal police of Navolato, Sinaloa is accused of a second femicides, that of Jovana, a young girl who was found dead on October 12, 2017.

"The result of the investigations identified Miguel Eduardo Burgos Varela as the alleged perpetrator of the crime that the criminal law refers to as feminicide due to the assumptions of sexual violence, exposure of the body in a public place and by the defenselessness of the victim," stated Juan José Ríos Estavillo, State Attorney General.

As part of the search, he said, assistance was requested from PGR and INTERPOL to locate Burgos Varela in another entity, inside and outside the country.
In addition to this case he was also attributed to having committed sexual violence against young Jovana.

"It was determined that Jovana was sexually assaulted and deprived of life," said Rios Estavillo.

Burgos Varela is the same person who is accused of the femicide of the girl Dayana, also originally from the municipality of Navolato.
Jovana, 16
"As will be remembered, the subject today accused is the same that this Prosecutor's Office found as likely responsible for the femicide of the girl Dayana," he said.

"It goes without saying that our search continues, and that is why this Prosecutor General of Sinaloa reaffirms that the legal remedies will be exhausted to find their whereabouts, capture him and make him available to the judge who calls for him,” he said.

Burgos Varela is the same person who is accused of the femicide of the girl Dayana, also originally from the municipality of Navolato.

    1. @1:43PM I have 3 daughters and 2 grand daughters and agree that this man should be executed.....if convicted of the crime. But I am hopeful that the Mexican judicial system will follow through on the reforms to follow "the rule of law". But that reform does not include assassinations of "accused" perpetrators.

    2. There is a process of examinations to accreditate police officers, even municipales, but the mayors select the most atrabiliary or the best bidders for the job, then they progress to federal or state level.
So, who unleashed this animal on society and why?
      And how many more?

  4. Rape of children or infant or young adolescent girls is worse than feminicide, and we can't blame every police officer or soldier for this kind of crimes, but too many are on them, FECAL himself had to pull his ejercitos from Cd Juarez because of all their crimes against both men and women, including rape and disappearances.

  5. Femicide? I equate that with the killing of women, this is worse, this bastard is a child killer.

    1. I, agree with you Chivis. Call it like it is to better understand motives and perhaps someday help stop this violence against women!

    2. Though it is not official "puericide" would be the term for "child killing"

      Delete
    3. There is not official term for stranger killing a child. infanticide has traditionally been used even for those under 18. Makes little sense. There is neonaticide for those a day or so old. but none specifically for child killers no "cide". I like the term you used, a good latin term. But child killer i think brings it home for most folks

    2. 12:47 does your smartass remark make Sinaloa any less innocent? NO!

    3. I am michoacano and Ill have the balls to admit ive never been cheated on, that I know of. But I dont envy sinaloenses, only trying to expose the truth. You guys always bash people from other states like Chihuahua and Michoacan for killing women amd children while you are the biggest offenders in the country. As a prime example you have Ivan Archivaldo Guzman who killed a female candian tourist and her partner because she turned down ivan at a nightclub and left with the other guy. Thats why he went to prison but chapo got him out. I have friends from sinaloa, some admit it some dont. There is a huge problem with violent, jealous, and wreckless murders. Women turning up dead frequently and even narcos are behind the killings but of course deny it!
Also I never forget when chapo had rodolfo carrillo killed they also killed his wife, they say two children were in the car but were saved.

  11. Only women in Juarez get killed say Sinaloa nutthuggers! Nothing ever happens in Sinaloa. Shit this proves that Sinaloa is just as bad or maybe even worse than Juarez when it comes to the rapes or murder of women regardless if a cartel is or is not helping commit these crimes and adding to the high number of women being killed there.

Tie this bastard up spread eagle then open him up from his waist to his chest cavity. Pull intestines out and show them to him, then before he dies cut off his balls slowly. This bitch deserves no mercy. Saludos desde Los Angeles. El Nemesis-

  16. Wish we could get some details of his description . Just from the photo I would say 5.7 to 5.9 200 poundish . If this picture circulates enough he will be located . Maybe even in the usa , landscaping or milking cows . Looks familiar to me . 150 years ago he could move 150 miles away and never get caught up to . In 2018 he might move to china and get recognized and caught . A few decades ago I watched Americas most wanted and they featured Kenneth Allen McDuff . Caught him the next day 2 states away . The world is even smaller now . They will get this pos

  21. I remember reading a bunch of articles about Dayana when she went missing in July 2017, I was heart broken seeing the poor family doing everything possible to find her. Then in October 2017 they found her remains and that just crushed me. Anyone who is a parent would agree that the best thing to do with this POS is to torture his ass and make him suffer until he begs to die, and even then still make him suffer more. It is saddening to know how sick our world is. We need to start being tougher with these dam killers, and lets pray for all of the victims.

  22. What if he is innocent? Do they have concrete evidence? A video of him committing the crime his DNA on the bodies? Im not saying he didn't do it im only saying innocent until proven guilty. Hang the man if it gives you comfort but find him guilty first. In Mexico it's to offten they acuse a person with multiple crimes if the crimes are similar they do this to say they have solved the case or cases.

    1. I've heard women in Sinaloa are treated worse than dirt. Don't the cartels do annual raids on the poorer towns and have kidnap hundreds of girls as young as 10 to be personal sex slaves?

    2. 10:37 yet Sinaloa leads Mexico in deaths to women for whatever reasons they might be killed.
Seems to me that people only "hunt" lady killers provided they are not narcos. How convinient for CDS.

  26. We gotta remember the sick twisted world that the Mexican justice system is. The accused are not always the people who did it. Many times innocent people have confessed to crimes they did not commit. Many times innocent people have had to pay for the crime of another person orchastrated by law enforcement in order to protect a more powerful person. The truth is we will never know the truth. What strikes me is the motive behind law enforcements motivation to find this guy. Many little girls have been raped and killed before and they did absolutely nothing those disgusting pigs. Why now? Why him? Is it lip service just to make it look like theyre trying to do something but theyre actually protecting him, hiding him? Is he getting railroaded? Did he run afoul of a more powerful person? I dont know. We never will.
