Veracruz: Three decap heads in sombreros have been identified

Last week macabre images of three decapitated bodies made the rounds on social media.  The victims bodies were carefully wrapped in black bags bound tightly with tape.  The decapitated heads were adorned with bright patriotic  colored sombreros.

The three decapitated bodies discovered in a street adjacent to a  Xalapa, Veracruz park, have been identified as brothers, members of a band, Juan Salvador, 27,  and Jorge Luis Patiño León, 31.

The third victim is Denisse Yazaret Morales Juarez, and English teacher and wife of Jorge Luis. On his facebook account, Jorge Luis Patiño León appears as teacher of the Ignacio Manuel Altamirano elementary school, based in Xalapa.

Denisse vanished on September 12, the brothers the next day.

It was not the first killing befalling the band.  A 15 year old band member was previous kidnapped and killed.

  5. Any individuals or ( individual) of interest in connection to this crime?
    Moreover, why?
Most victims of such is the result of affiliation to organized crime or criminals. However, then there are those who are simply at the wrong place and time.
    Definitely a motive behind this!

    1. There are a lot of smaller bands in Mexico that get cartel support. That's all it takes to become a target of another group, unfortunately.

  6. The US just needs to send their Special Forces down there & put an end to this savaging chaos. What's the Mexican government going to do about it? NOTHING! They US pays Mexico billions annually. The only way to stop this is send in the real men.....the American Armed Forces.

    1. USA Special Forces can't go around Mexico killing whoever they want. Mexican government would never let that happen nor should they.

Mexico will have to take care of it's own problems with Unite States help . At the end of the day the cartel violence in Mexico is a Mexican problem that needs to be fixed by Mexicans.

    2. Would sound appropriate @6:45.
However, Mexican government officials involvement would not allow such.
Seems like almost every government official has a pocket that needs jingling!

    6. The Mexican government would never allow the US to come in because it's the cartels who fund all these politicians and their campaigns. It pretty much be a death sentence for them. Additionally, if a cartel would go down, then so does the politician. Besides, Mexico is getting money from both ends - cartels and the US govt - so where's the problem? I'd love to see a clean Mexican politician, just one, but they all have some significant dirt...and if they're not dirty, then they're dead.

    11. 6:45 tas mas pendejo valee!the billions of dollars the US "provides" get stolen the moment they get deposited in the war on drugs account, the military surplus they give mexico barely covers the mexican narco-government kickbacks, even the maruchan the soldiers get is financed by the chinese to the US on the credit card of the US taxpayer, and by the time it gets to mexico it has acchieved the price of the most expensive russian caviar, talk to your lawmakers and get the fack out of mexico, you don't really want 130 million mexicans running to the US AND FIXING YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL, YOUR SOLDIERS OF FORTUNE AND MERCENARIES ARE IN MEXICO ALREADY, THEY WEAR THEIR BURKHAS ALL DAY LONG, BUT WE KNOW

    1. They were in a band called La Banda Que Manda and probably died for playing at the wrong party.

    2. The oldest ways of cleaning money in Sinaloa has been restaurants (usually mariscos) and grupos la banda. Customers for both pay in efectivo and then the criminal's company invoices the restaurant or musicians to receive cleaned money. Maybe these people refuse to clean, they have disagreement about money, or maybe they were being extorted or criminal thought they were working with policia. Whatever it is brutal and unnecessary and I hope the criminals are caught, but maybe not likely in Veracruz.

  10. Even playing in a band gets people killed in Mexico.

    1. If playing in a band can get a person killed in Mexico, can not being in a band get you killed too? The only thing I know how to play is the radio. That's like paying a cover charge to get into the disco to listen to music and dance. What about if you want to get in but you don't want to dance? How about the poor guy who has to pay and not only doe he not want to dance but he doesn't want to listen to the music either. He is not even interested in paying attention to what is going on, he just wants to get inside. What about that one?

    3. That seems like a lot of work to just kill and wrap three bodies up just for being in the band. I have no idea why they would do that to someone just for playing in a band, unless they were filled with general rage that they wanted to take out on people. Either way, it's horrible.

      Delete
  11. I still don't get it. They played for an audience of an opposing cartel? Or they just played and the cartel didn't like them playing? Or maybe they didn't pay extortion. No one will ever know, I guess. Poor kids.

  15. Most people blame the victims or accuse them of being thieves or on drugs, etc. Many will say that "innocent people never get hurt". This is a tactic that is used to obscure vile acts forced on innocent people. Of course, some are guilty of some type of crime, but the penalty should not be death without a trial.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 10:36 thre is no death penalty in the mexican constitution, it is expressly forbidden, even if some court ordered it, it is a crime to be applying the death penalty in mexico under any excuse, but of course, the government abrogates itself the right to entrap and demonize at will.
