Confrontation between Military and criminals in Matamoros leaves 3 dead and 5 wounded

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Noreste article

Subject Matter: Army vs Sicarios confrontation
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

The confrontation occurred on the border of Matamoros, with 2 soldiers killed and one sicario

Authorities released information about a confrontation between elements of the Army and an armed group. The events occurred on the border between Matamoros and Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas where 5 persons were registered with serious wounds and two army elements and one sicario were killed.

The incident occurred at Los Ejidos Vanguardia, around Carretera Nacional 24.

WARNING STRONG BLOOD IMAGE ON THE NEXT PAGE

Police reports refer that the elements of the Army were attacked by an armed commando while carrying out an operation. At the location they discovered rifles, spare magazines and ammunition.

(Otis: The main picture shows what looks like a .50 cal strike on the windscreen of the armored car, which caused the armored car to crash into a drainage ditch. Given the location, this may well have been an ambush set up and planned for the military, by CdG sicarios.)

Further details will be posted when available.

The Coordination group for Tamaulipas released a press release with pretty much no further information than has already been released, other than the delinquents were in vehicles and escaped after the confrontation. Valorportamaulipas also has no further information regarding the incident.

    1. Maybe he fell out the Humvee and it crushed his legs when it flipped or something...

    2. No just the result of not being strapped down in a violent crash. You can see where they stripped off his vest to do CPR.

    3. Also the de-gloving injury to the thigh above where the lower leg was ripped off is a classic auto accident injury. Degloving only happens when there is significant force or speed behind the injury; it would be near impossible to recreate the same clean detachment of dermal tissue from muscular tissue with a knife.

    11. @11:17 What does my valid question have to do with movies? I dont see any constructive criticism from your comment.

    12. @9:35
Did you even bother to read the title of the article?? It doesn't say it was a simple crash in a ditch does it? No. It says it was a confrontation between the military and criminals, right? So, there was a lot that went on, A LOT. Understand so far? Maybe he wasn't on the vehicle and his legs got blown off and fell in the ditch. Maybe he was on the vehicle on top, shot thru the legs, flipped with vehicle and fell in a ditch. Maybe neither. The PROBLEM is that you simply saw the two pics and, erroneously, ASSUMED the person laying in the ditch crashed while he rode in the vehicle. Your question has nothing to do with movies nor was my comment meant to be constructive because it's pointless to try and explain. Hence, just go watch a movie - it is more "constructive" if you do that.

And your answer is not about a corrupt gov and your sure Onama or grump would do the same thing for him. Right?

  6. So let me understand this why is it that in every ambush more sicarios died than military? And yes I know in sinaloa the military got smashed big time but come the people who ambush them where ex.military

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. First off, it's all propaganda; the government never gives accurate statistics of military deaths. This goes all the way back to when they tried to capture El Chayo de Michoacán in 2007. The battle went on for multiple days and involved over 1,000 combatants. The government went on to say less than 20 soldiers died. Point is, never take the government's accounting of their own deaths seriously, and doubly so for the government's reckoning of how many sicarios died.

      Delete
    2. And still sinaloa gas a long way to go, tamaulipas is thevplace where more soldiers get killed year after year. Plus THAT'S one of the few times cds actually cobfronted the military. They were not ex military you dummy" they were just over powered with more guys to save el kevin who got killed anyways, I'm sure itveas cds who killed him too. Chapitos were scared shitless, sending letrers to media and all that bs..

    3. Once again just the fact that military has ar 15 type weapons it also means that they will shoot more acurately. Btw more mexicans marines die in tamaulipas then anywhere else in mexico.

    4. They don't report everyone who died in the military to protect their families

    5. The military died in the crash in this case, the got to running away "como pedo de indio" when the fire started. But what is a trokita pendeja with 4 or 5 soldiers doing there by itself?

Military got ambushed but they got scared, fucked up the humwee in panic and were shot when leaving the truck.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That would depend on what type of .50 cal ammo you fired at it from what weapon/ barrel combo and the range

      Delete
    2. Its, like otis said, a panhard vbl scout vehicle. Made in France and unless the Mexican military made some adaptations to the front glass, it is not 50 cal resistant no matter from what angle, and weapon the round was fired. The damage to the windshield had to be done by other means.

Do commend the insight and knowledge of what's transpiring with this site. Recommend by a colleague who like many reading junkies to get a perspective of life engulfed in Mexicos drug violence.
What I have witnessed is the lack of attention news/ media it receives worldwide. A humanitarian crisis Indeed.
Many of us are all aware of government censorship for malicious and political purposes.
However, can only hope that such reporting journalism deters one from engaging. Outcomes and consequences are clearly evident. And that an educated mind and meaningful life is by true means ones prosperity.
I want to thank you BB for the awareness.
However I will be refraining from further postings due to childish and to be honest individuals who know nothing or knowledge of
    the game and lifestyle.
