Breaking Story; Chapo extradited today

Posted by DD

The New York Times and NBC news are reporting that Mexican authorities had today extradited Drug Lord Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman  to the United States.
Several U.S. jurisdictions want to try the former leader of the Sinaloa cartel on federal drug trafficking charges, including prosecutors in San Diego, New York, El Paso, Texas, Miami and Chicago.

Guzman was recaptured in January of 2016 in the town of Los Mochis, almost six months after he used a tunnel to escape from a maximum-security Mexican prison in a brazen and elaborate jailbreak.

This is a developing  story and we will provide more details and coverage from the Mexican press.

    5. I worked outside of the Supermax back in 2003. Men screaming like women & crying losing their fucking minds. I was at the camp doing a 5 piece & I did the landscape clean-up & we had the green light to drive along the fence of the ADX in Florence, Colo. It's a very sad & lonely place. You piss America off & doing something heinous to this country. You can kiss your ass goodbye! You rot in that place. But I think he negotiated either USP or FCI privileges. He'll walk around like a king in those facilities & be the "piasa" shot caller. Or if he snitches they will send him to a "Black" facility where they send the snitches. They call it the "Cheese Factory" So will see!

    1. Nothing, same amount of drugs are being sent by them around the world as always. But that doesn't mean Chapo the Parrot doesn't deserve to rot in a Max security prison in the States.

    1. Super Max in Florence is going to be worse than any prison in Mexico. It's not a place to go for rehabilitation and be returned to society.

    1. I don't get why Mexicans are going crazy over a 20% increase in prices. In the US we once had a 300% increase in the span of 6 months and we were mad but we weren't rioting on the street. Are Mexicans that strapped for cash?

      Delete
    2. It either that or they just want to buy time so Donald Trump won't charge them the wall

    3. There's always that guy saying mench will be captured in the next week month or year... and he puts at the end.... you heard it from me.. no name. Just a guy/girl how posted a message. Using the name of anonymous... so good

    5. @4:15 You obviously don't know much about Mexico. With the weakening of the peso against the dollar the gas prices have approached the minimum wage per gallon. Not the minimum hourly wage, the minimum daily wage. So a gallon of gas could cost a days wages for low income Mexicans. Think about that for a second. A days wages. Then commence to understand why people are upset. Now add on top of that the fact that gas prices will be raised even more this year with a goal to end al the subsidies by the end of the year. It's going to get even worse if the peso continues its decline.

    6. I'm gabacho but puro xolo. It takes 6 hours at min wage to fill up your tank in the states. In mex it's 10.4 days at min wage so 20% is a grip. I think the Mexicans need to take their country back like trump did here. As hard as that may be to swallow

  12. So will the CDS try to kill the mexican president and other top level politicians they paid hundreds of millions to for protection? Or will the rest of the CDS see this as a good chance to grab more of the power/business and dont care about Chapo?

  13. So many said it wouldn't happen. At least his sexual harassment claims are no more for now. We all know he will plead not guilty, be found guilty, placed in prison and forgotten about like all the rest. Time to focus on the new guy.

  14. Hopefully he spills the beans on all the Mexican officials that turned there backs on him

  18. About 6 or 7 months ago Sol Perdido said Chapo would never be extradited to the United States. A very short time later Sol, in an attempt to save face, said Chapo would die of natural causes in Mexico. None of that has transpired. But what can we expect from a flake who uses their alleged employment as a weapon to attack others here when his intellectual abilities fail (which is always)? He tries to pass himself as an American hero, a military operator, yet in August he posted a comment offering advice to one of Chapo's sons. What a hero.

  19. No need for chapo to snitch on politicians because those are the same politicians that are so corrupt and working for US interest all along and im talking about PRI and Pena Nieto. They work for the US thats why they are giving in and giving chapo up to Trump like a trophy.

    1. Yeah this is gonna get crazy. Politicians will be running for cover. And criminals will get ballsy. While America just watches. From across. With their pet El chapo as Mexico erupts. Waiting for when it's bad enough to entrever. Maybe Mexico will pay for the wall. America has leverage. As the have El Chapo to tell them all the little. Secrets. Then Chaps dies soon after.

    2. Yah because everyone knows that nobody calls the shots from behind prison walls your a idiot at the very least they made it easier for him to communicate with the outside world prisons are full of cell phones and almost any other thing you want better wake up and smell the coffee and when some one has money the sky is the limit of what you can get done in the U.S.A from behind those walls

    1. While I agree that el chapo has had a legendary career and has set his family right with all of the money and businesses around the world that he has acquired, this isn't a game that you can leave with everything, so now he has to pay with his freedom, se le acabó el corrido, even el Mayo has all but one of his sons in jail and while they're getting out at some point for snitching, mayo is old and the reality is that he might pass before he gets to see them again.
