Unstoppable Violence in Guerrero: 8 Decapitated, 10 Executed During the Weekend

By: Ezequiel Flores Contreras | Translated by Valor for Borderland Beat

The bodies of eight men were found decapitated and tortured in the municipality of Tixtla, Guerrero, located in the center region of the state.

Meanwhile in the port of Acapulco, 10 people were found executed in different events, among them two members of the Mexican Navy (SEMAR).

Official reports indicate that the bodies of the eight men were found at around 11:00 pm yesterday, along a freeway that connects the town of Tixtla with the municipality of Chilapa.

The victims were decapitated, had visible signs of torture, and the sicarios left an extensive message which the authorities decided to hide the content.

On the case of the two members of the Mexican Navy executed in the port of Acapulco, the authorities reported that yesterday afternoon, the honest soldiers were shot up in the adjacent area next to the main tourist destination of the state.

The events occurred in the strip considered to be the most violent in the resort.  The navy personnel were identified as José Luis and Casimiro, both 27 years old and assigned to the 8th Naval Region, located in the neighborhood Icacos on the port of Acapulco.

Mexico arrests alleged cartel assassin leader in Acapulco

In related news, Mexican federal forces had arrested an alleged leader of a band of assassins in Acapulco, identified as “Benito N”, an alleged head of assassins for the Beltrán-Leyva Cartel.

Also, state police were searching for 12-14 people kidnapped on Thursday night from the township of Ajuchitlan del Progreso.

Witnesses told police that about 30 armed men kidnapped the victims, which included some minors. Relatives reported already receiving calls demanding ransom for their release. Local residents blamed a group called Los Tequileros.

  1. Alcapulco is hell and los Beltranes were the ones who owned it so for those who oppose El Chapo just look at this as to what it be if your state was under the rivals flag (im not saying CDS are saints either)

  2. Los Tequilleros are a smaller CJNG affiliate from Tlalchapa that has been making noise in the past six months by expanding to other towns on the Michoacán/Guerrero border area, in conflict with the remnants of CT under El Gallito (nephew of Tuta). From what I've read online, Gallito was either from the area or had family there, as CT wasn't reported as extorting or harrasing the citizens in the region bounded by the towns of Altamirano, Arciela, Ajuchitlan, and Tlalchapa. Los Tequilleros have apparently started extorting citizens and kidnapping/disappearing people in the towns the moved into. According to one residents comments posted on the forum, the people didn't love CT when they were in power, but they are wishing for them back now that Los Tequilleros are in control.

  6. I live in Acapulco 6-8 months out of the year and I pass Icacos every time I go to BonFil to surf. Icacos is adjacent to the naval base & bordered by Costa Azul, definitely NOT "...the strip considered to be the most violent in the resort." The violence occurs most often over the hill in the areas near the cemetery; also in Centro, & Coloso. Transit points just outside the city proper on the old Mexico City highway also yield high body counts: think El 30. Of the three people I knew (personally) who were shot dead, all happened in the El Tepito part of Centro. I try not to go there much.
FYI: The weed & blow in Acapulco is horrible, absolute worst swag & powdered rat poison ever...bring your own if you want to get high here. Besides, you don't want to deal with a guy who'd rape your sister if you turned your back, which is precisely the kind of guy you'd have to deal with. DAMHIK. It's a penitent life for me!

    Hasta luego,

  8. Tequileros is for jalisco right?
Comandanta Nestora was pacifying her turf almost all by herself, without american or mexican federal money or men or gun or gunships.
--The pinchi mexican government has been "trying" like weak pussies since the 50's to tame Guerrero, with all the accoutrements of men and materials, there are more than ten thousand soldiers and marinas, there, and judicial federales, and can't do the job, "it's soo hard" Pero ahi andan de calientes.
