Singer Gerado Ortiz Arrested For Violent Video

Lucio for Borderland Beat material from El Universal

Saturday night in Guadalajara, singer Gerado Ortiz was arrested by Mexican Federal Police.  Ortiz was arrested at the airport.

On Friday an arrest warrant was issued for the singers arrest. Charges stem from criminal exultation, for his single and video of “Fuiste Mia”.

The video centers on a relationship gone bad, using graphic detail, shower scenes of soft porn, a two timing lover shot between the eyes, and the  mistress being fondled while bound and gagged then thrown into a car trunk.

Ortiz’ video character is a betrayed narco capo, who lights a cigarette, takes a drag and sets the car and the dead mistress afire.

The video played on Vevo gaining 30 million views before being taken down.  The video now playing on you tube has no footage

  3. This politically in correct but I think its time for censorship here in the usa also . Society as a whole has far less moral in the past 40 years .Young people are greatly influenced by what they are exposed to by music videos and pop culture . Fuck this musician . He needs to be out of business . Become a fruit picker if you cant do any better than that asshole . Wait a good moral fruit picker wouldn't want him beside him working. Did this guy have a momma ? Poor job Momma !

    4. Freedom of "expresshun" in the US is an adult matter, only adults know when to self-censor, and for how much, specially mainstream media, tv, radio and print, even in schools people self censure if they want their budgets supplied with money, and from some of that budget money, even Turk terroristas manage to squeeze 150 charter schools from the US education department, because lobbying pays for all involved...politicians, terroristas, lobbyists, except for the children and the teachers, pare ts and taxpayers...
--but this is the US gaddemet, behaving like mexicans...
--If there were more censure, "narco-terrorista messages" like this would not be found anywhere in the world...

    5. All you talking about free speech. Having decency standards for mass media has nothing to do with free speech.

No one is stopping anyone from saying something. But there should be standards for tv etc. In today's society where both parents work the children spend a lot of time watching the smut on tv.That's why kids today are so screwed up and our society is breaking down.

    6. 3:20 the self censorship we talk about, is about real big crimes and misdemeanors reports getting supressed, by their own authors sometimes, and more often by their Casas Editoras, that know when to shut the fack up voluntaritly, not about you and your porny
