"El Chapo" retired two years ago and his sons operate the Sinaloa Cartel, affrims Lydia Cacho

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Zetatijuana article

Subject Matter: Sinaloa Cartel
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

The Mexican reporter Lydia Maria Cacho Ribeiro, assured in an interview with the United States chain Telemundo, that the structure of the Sinaloa Cartel is led by Alfredo and Ivan Guzman, sons of Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera, alias "El Chapo", who recently was re-apprehended and imprisoned in the Cefereso #1 "Altiplano".

"Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera appears to me one of the most dangerous criminals in the country. His two sons have controlled the Cartel for the last two years", she said, " and the authorities know this", she affirmed that "El Chapo" was retired from criminal activities.

"He is already beyond good and evil; He has been retired for two years and the authorities, and the FBI and Interpol and the CIA know it perfectly. He is not the operator of the Cartel", said Cacho.

He already is conducting political operations of a another type, and with the money that he has already laundered he is making illicit operations, and the authorities know that", said the reporter.

Cacho assures that true risk for the enemies of "El Chapo" Guzman is that all the information he has sees the light of day, well for that he has been preparing all his sons and his associates in the United States, with whom he had been planning an information war to expose proofs against politicians in the United States and Mexico.

For them, anticipated Cacho, the enemies of "El Chapo", among them some Mexican Politicians and United States Politicians, have been planning for years a strategy that confirms a series of documental proofs, like videos, photographs, and checks from foreign accounts, with which to confront the business partners of the Sinaloan Capo in his drug trafficking business.

The reporter said that the Courts of the United States have 82 cases against the Capo and his allies, but that the presence of the CIA in Mexico, the informants of the FBI and the United States anti- drug agency the DEA, about political links with the Cartel, as well as confessions that the narco trafficker and his family have made to the press recently, complicate the panorama.

The sons of El Chapo are drug addicts, affirms a Colombian writer

For his part, the writer and ex Colombian drug trafficker, Andres Lopez Lopez, affirmed that  two of the nine children of El Chapo, Joaquin Jr and Griselda, a product of his second marriage, have touched bottom with their drug addiction.

He never thought he would produce in the flesh the consequences of the product of a rich and powerful man, narrated Andres, in one of his 69 chapter of the biographical book on the Sinaloa Capo: Joaquin El Chapo Guzman: The man of drugs.

Lopez Lopez, one of the leaders of the Norte de Valle Cartel and know by his nickname "Florecita", said in an interview with the daily Excelsior that the Capo intended to sabotage the history where it speaks of the problems with his children in relation to the women who determined part of his life.

"I don't write books to order, and would not lend my writing so that El Chapo can authorize or edit it. I am not interested in giving my soul to the devil", said the writer who is now based in the United States.

Also the author of "El Cartel de los Sapos", affirmed that he's had to duck all kinds of sabotages on the part of the people of the most famous Capo in the world who was determined that this history would never see the light of day, from the intent to completely buy the first edition, to death threats.

"I believe that Chapo Guzman is going to find the book either good or bad, the decisions he has made in his life have been influenced by the many women that he has had", affirmed "Florecita", about the debilities of El Chapo.

The Politicians and criminal gangs discredit the reporters

Cacho also affirmed in the interview with Telemundo, to be a friend of the actress Kate Castillo, and insisted that all the leaks against the protagonists of the series "La Reina del Sur", are the result of political persecution.

The Mexican reporter, who was persued and tortured on order of the then Governor of Puebla, Mario Marin Torres, sustains that in Mexico whomever exposes the links between some Politicians and criminal groups , represent a danger to the system and they will be sought out and silenced.

"The first event is to attack us to discredit us", she said in an interview after the presentation of her most recent book " In search of Kayla", in which she addresses the issue of human trafficking.

"In the case of Kate there is a brutal persecution to discredit her, Why? Because they dread that this film will eventually be made, and they dread that the true history of how the criminal organizations operate, and those are the people who are attacking it", said Cacho.

The reporter signalled that in the case of Kate Castillo, there is no proof that can send her to prison, despite the repeated attempts of the authorities to discredit her.

  2. So from what I gather Ivan and Alfredo are idiots. They seem to think they're above just about anyone. They don't have the intelligence to handle a cartel. And I doubt Chapo is retired, only way to retire from that business is to go to jail or die....it's not as simple as a normal job. Too many people relied on him. Anyway back to those 2 boneheads, they won't last long. Except maybe the youngest one who seems to keep his cool I haven't heard about him ever in the news or on here so that says it all.

    4. Ugh no. Never said that. Doesn't change the fact chapos sons seem to think they're above everyone. That will catch up to them. One of the major reasons chapo lasted so long was that he was loved by everyone in sinaloa, these 2 obviously don't have that

    5. That's why hes in jail BONEHEAD !! that was the retirement deal. chapo goes to jail you really think hes going to want to die. Jail is somewhere where he feels protected , he still run shit from there, he wants to live to see his sons run shit along with him BONEHEAD LOL

    7. To the fuckin moron who says u dont have to be a rocket scientist to run a cartel...I guarauntee u couldnt even comprehend the logistics of running a single plaza or smuggling route. These guys have the constitutions of high level c.e.o.'s of major corps. U tards have to be white boys who pretend to be experts cus u know a guy who knows a guy, who knows a paisa he used 2 work with. You will never know how a true sinaloan trafficking cell works, how and what they get paid with, or how to i.d. good goma is or what the best cutting agent is so u can stomp on some zips and maximize ur returns. Im from Phx, Az and i dont fuck with no one but sinoloans, cus they r the best organized, most reliable, most honest, and the most legit compas in my state. I am a white boy and ive been slanging cheeva for 10 yrs 4 the Sinaloans and if i ever met u and heard u say that nonsense i would kick u in the panocha until u miscarried

    8. @8:26 a lot of things are easier said then done...You can say it isn't rocket science but the bottom line is you wouldn't know because you're not running a multi billion dollar operation... Although Chapo, Mayo or a handful of other cartel leaders might not have a formal education it doesn't mean they arent smart or capable. If anything they can be placed right along with the other non educated billionaires like the walmart owner or the MGM grand guy... I honestly dont think you have what it takes to run a liqour store much less a cartel.

  5. Well even if this was the case, he still has previous criminal acts to answer to. Also, what difference does it make if his sons were running it? Everyone figured that would happen now or later. So that just assured their being on the radar ever more now. The objective is to catch one at a time, two if you're lucky. One point that is not mentioned is out of the group in this family, Chapo is the smartest and most feared. Eliminating him will cause much disarray among them. His sons are too hot headed and tough guy wannabes. They will get too caught up in violence and revenge instead of laying low like Chapo. They will eventually draw way too much attention trying to be feared like he was, and that will bring them down. So this reporter may have a point, but at the sametime you remove the stronger domino and the rest will fall.

Just like in practically any BB article that I ever read the word "sicario" is written with a capital S (it gotto be some strange system thing, I presume?), in this interesting piece above about (El) Chapo And The World In Media, the word "politicians" also starts appearing with such a, I would think most times undeserved, similarly weird standard capital P and as I never heard anyone speak out on the previous case, I just feel I for one ought to express a feeling of desire of mine, that this (time it) will not become habitual..?

Not uncommon to incorporate in Delaware . Most efficient , quickest , least expensive . Companies all over the country have been doing it for decades . Sure would like to hear chapo "sing" Only thing is , talk aint worth the paper its written on so to speak . If he can show evidence it would be good for everybody concerned . Except those involved of coarse . Is he fighting extradition ? If this is the case why would he ?
