15% Increase in Theft and Armed Assault in Cuernavaca

Translated by Valor for Borderland Beat

Statistics compiled by the Observatory for the Security in Morelos showed that Cuernavaca registered an increase of 15% in theft and armed assault, mainly in the communities of La Lagunilla, Antonio Barona, Satélite, Morelos, Milpillas, Flores Magón, Granjas and Bugambilias.  The figures presented are for the month of January, it should also be noted that there was an increase in February for the lack of vigilance in the city.

The crimes that have increased are assaults on public transport, especially in the community of Flores Magón, along Cuauhtémoc Avenue, at the height of the Potrero Verde community, as well as Morelos Sur Avenue, at the height of the communities Miguel Hidalgo, Las Palmas and Chipitlán, mainly.

The Observatory for Security noted that current municipal and state governments have not heard nor resolved demands from various sectors of society.  They reported that during the weekend, eight vehicles that had been reported as stolen in the municipalities of Jiutepec, Yautepec, Tepoztlán and Xochitepec were located.

--Mando Unico Rifa y cobra, pero bien caro...
--problemo is Mando Unico, when they get the exclusivity, they INCREASE the criminality, kidnappings for ransoms, the murders and the drug trafficking, as they do all over mexico...

    2. BAD, PRIVATE CONCERNS THAT BENEFIT FROM THE DIRTY DEEDS THEY PROMOTE SHOULD NOT BE MAKING PROFIT FROM GOVERNMENT LARGESSE.
--instead the prisoners should auto-govern, but not by the cacique system and the powerful prisoner/politician...
--what is the use of privatizing the white elephant prisons?
There is no money to spend on them, unless some government officer finds a way to steal it...
--prisoners should be able to judge the troublemakers among them and act accordingly, no gangs should be exploiting anyone

    4. How much does CCA charges the US government per prisoner?
--and what does the government gets back?
--prisoners get 1/2 hour of sun every day, and 2 slices of bread to eat with the roughage they get fed, unless sheriff arpaio is there to feed them their pink burgers...
Prisoners get robbed by prisons industries, at the phones, at the commissary, by the Bulls and by the perras de la carcel like 5:29...
