Shootout on "El Chapo's" birth place leaves eight dead

A shootout in the town of San José del Barranco, a Badiraguato Township, in the state of Sinaloa, left eight men dead, one of them was the security chief of  the brother of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

The confrontation was between two criminal groups who are fighting for control of the drug trade and those who died were from the ranches of La Tuna, Los Licitos and San Jose del Barranco, all from the same municipality.

La Tuna is where the family of "El Chapo" Guzman lives, and from the time he managed to escape the Navy has strengthened its operations in Mexico to locate him.

One of the men who died was Cristóbal Muro Valdez, El 02, who was the bodyguard of  Aureliano Guzman Loera, "El Guano", who used to lived in San Jose del Barraco.

Muro Valdez was a lieutenant in Guzman Loera's group, and had one of the highest ranks, he was responsible to find and oversee the location of land for the cultivation of narcotics in the Golden Triangle. He was a friend of the Salgueiro brothers, who control the area on the Chihuahua side, in the municipality of Guadalupe and Calvo.

The other men who were killed were identified as Ezequiel Lazcano, Germán Muro; brothers Gabriel and Manuel Valdez, Jesús Enrique Sepúlveda and brothers Ricardo and Masiel Arenías.

According to residents of the area, the funeral of "El 02" was heavily guarded by the Navy, because they hoped El Chapo's family will attend or Chapo Guzman himself.

Also today at around 7:25 pm Luis Alberto Muro Valdez, 35 years old was found dead is the Culiacan prison. He was found hanging from a cord in the bathroom according to El Debate,

    1. I guess it's true Zambadas vs Guzman. We know BLO has a truce with El Chapo and that BLO hate zambadas but who is Rafael caro Quintero with, or carrillo Fuentes , since Chapo killed rodolfo Carrillo Fuentes I'm guessing they could side with Zambadas but who knows since they are cool with BL. Looks like alliances could switch if this is true.

      Delete
    2. Where is your proof BLO has a truce with Chapo? That would be a stretch for the Beltran Leyva's to pardon Chapo for his transgressions against Arturo and Alfredo. Why would the BLO hate the Zambadas more than Chapo? Please explain because I am lost.

      Delete
    3. El chapo had nothing to do with the arrest or killing of Arturo and Alfredo, mayo was the one who drop dime on them. Mayo is a chapolin, he use to work for the Tijuana cartel until he did them dirty and skip town and went back to Sinaloa to hide from the Arellanos. He was in line to take over leadership in tijuana but he meses up and ran. Chapo saw it as a chance and brought him on board because of his routes and algrecultura. Blo were never to crazy about mayo and his people, they never delt with him directly they saw him as a plaza boss under chapos tree. It wasn't until the blo broke off that mayo became a boss in the cds. So to answer your question that the blo do have a pact with chapo

      Delete
    4. Your a dumbass for thinking about a truce

      Delete
    5. Because Beltran leyvas and Chapo are family ,El Mochomo told Arturo that it wasn't Chapo who turned him in , but Arturo lost it when Chapo and Mayo wouldn'f help Arturo break el Mochomo out of jail. If you really think about it the one who has always been well connected in Culiacan is Mayo Zambada where Mochomo was captured plus his sons have been snitching and even willing to testify against Mochomo . Notice violence in Sinaloa has gone down , they are not hunting down Chapo Isidro no more because he and Chapos have at least a cease fire agreement , the fact that Chapo isidros people are operating in Mexicali ,says a lot. Mexicali has been a strong CDS plaza.Mochomos son Alfredo Beltran Guzman who also is el Chapos sisters son has been pulling strings and calmed things down

      Delete
    6. Zambadas gave up mochomo..because el Rey was in charge of the airport in d.f.he had to leave the airport cause of loads being lost or stolen.so they gave Beltran the d.f. airport. And sent el rey to toluca airport. so he gave up mochomo and all there people working out of d.f..... lot of people think chapo snitched out mochomo not true...if you look at everything that has happend since 2007 and bb has all the articles it all ads up. now who is the star witness against mochomo no other then el rey zambada himself.zambadas were the ones who snitched...macho prieto also killed chapo son.the zambadas played chess and everyone was playing checkers. They got Arturo thinking chapo ratted and they got chapo thinking Beltran killed his son...

      Delete
    7. Guzman and Beltrans have family ties as Alfredo Guzman Beltran mochomos son. Zambadas set to testify in court vs mochomo Alfredo Beltran Leyva.

      Delete
    11. Wow Chapo lovers you guys never cease to amaze me with all the theories. Now that BLO appear to be winning all of a sudden Chapo has a truce with them. El Mayo is the bad guy who actually betrayed the BLO and not Chapo. I could really care who did what but all that matters is that the CDS has falling from their pedestal. Death to Shorty and all that runs with him.

    12. @5:13 blo is winning what? We know your blo. and what are you winning ?cause in the end your gonna die just like chapo and all your blo friends. May you rot in hell with all the demons that you and all the cartels are

      Delete
    13. LOL what exactly is BLO winning? Last I checked on the cartel influence map, they hold about as much turf as the size of a football field in Mexico. Not very impressive, but keep on believing that. Theres a reason Chapo escaped prison and Mochomo is now in the USA.

      Delete
    14. Mochomo is in the USA because the Mexican government fears him. No one fears Chapo they just want his money. BLO is winning in Sinaloa right or wrong? CDS is fighting a civil war within BCS/Sinaloa right or wrong? CDS has lost a lot terroritory in the last two years right or wrong? BLO/CF/Zetaz basically ran CDS almost completely out of Chihuas right or wrong? In 2012 CDS owned 99% of Chihuas but is barely in 15% of the state now right or wrong? Keep living in your fantasy world and I will live in reality. Death to Shorty!!

I said three years ago CDS would lose control of Chihuas....I got mocked relentlessly by the CDS nut gobblers.....it happened. I said CJNG would break free from CDS and go independent....it happened. I said the BLO with the Z's help would take control of Sinaloa.....it happened. I said the AFO wasn't dead and would make a comeback. Now with Ramon's son leading the old school AFO and hitting CDS and the new school AFO the comeback is in motion. My next prediction is that El Chapo will be cornered in a shithole like Pablo did and killed. The whereabouts will be given up to the marina by El Mayo himself. When it happens I will be back on BB to tell you I told you so.

    20. 2:47 it actually does matter if you compare 2012 to 2015. Three years ago CDS was in complete control of Sinaloa. As of 2015 CDS has lost majority of the state to BLO. With the loss of terroritory there is loss of capital aka revenue. That capital has been gobbled up by the BLO and their allies. In the long run it does matter because the extra money provides extra government protection. It will be interesting to see what 2016 will look like for CDS and BLO.

Looks like CJNG might be going through this too. The only way to keep operating is increasing technology skills (like CDG) and keep being combative (like CDG).

If, the Paisas took someone out, they didn't send flowers. Son demasiados tacaños pa' gastar la plata en arreglos florales.

You don't have to really feel somebody's pain, they would appreciate if you deliver your pinchis flores in person...

You're wrong about why those flowers were sent: they were sent to remind them that revenge had finally been exacted for the murder , by orders of Carillo Fuentes, of one those Colombian brothers.

    5. nobody sent fukking flowers--Chapo didn't, Ochoa clan, nadie, we ain't talking narconovelas here, yea?

  32. As a firm believer that that Mexican government protects the Sinaloa Cartel I think that the only way the CDS can be brought down is from within. Having said that I still doubt that Chapo and Mayo are fighting. Sinaloa hasn't gone nuts with violence like when BLO split and it wasn't extremely violent after Chapo's half brother was killed this year. It's possible that this is the start of a war but I doubt it. CDS has largely stopped putting up mantas in the last couple of years so it's even harder to know what's going on.

    3. Though Mexico had a significant number of African slaves during colonial times, most of the African-descended population were absorbed into the surrounding Mestizo (mixed European/indigenous) and indigenous populations through unions among the groups. Evidence of this long history of intermarriage with Mestizo and indigenous Mexicans is also expressed in the fact that in the 2015 census, 64.9% (896,829) of Afro-Mexicans also identified as indigenous. It was also reported that 9.3% of Afro-Mexicans speak an indigenous language. Less than 1.2% of Mexico's population has significant African ancestry, with 1.38 million recognized during the 2015 Mexican Census. Numerous Afro-Mexicans in the 21st century are naturalized black immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean.

    4. There are descendants of African slaves who escaped or who we're shipped wrecked in Mexico kinda like in Puerto Rico and the Dominican. They live mostly in the Deep South coastal area of the gulf.

  37. Honestly el Chapo should have stayed in prison. He could have let his son take over and run the organization from the inside. El chapos escape will bring down his whole organization .

    2. They aren't trying to catch El Chapo. The DEA & the Mexican Military are in this together. El Chapo is as free as a bird. He could sit courtside at a Lakers game and walk out of the Staples Center with no problems.

El Chapo is THE shot caller. Whether in prison or on the back roads of Sinaloa, he has the freedom to do as he wishes.

    2. The good times are over 9:44. CDS had their shit on lock even when they were getting the shit kicked out them by the Z. But this shit going on these days is different. Yeah they still get money but with Chapo breaking out of prison there is too much heat on the federation. Too many Enemigos coming from all directions to handle. Not to mention all the infighting. I will be totally amazed if all the CDS big capos can make it out of this one unscathed.

  39. When Chapo was locked he became good friends with Z40 & Z42. This help him make a truce witl los BeltraneZ. He knew Mayo was the one who turn him in. So ones he escape & seen how mayo was trying to take the crown. Chapo become enemies with Caro & Mayo. Chapo click up with BeltraneZ, Carrillos & believe me on this one Zetas & Juarez.

    2. Man stop with the nonsense stories Mayo cant turn Chapo in and Chapo cant turn Mayo in they both have the highest lecels of military, and government on the pay roll. Chapo arranged to be captured with an agreement that he will be released to keep Mexico certification with the US and the world bank. Every american agent knows Chapo didnt crawl through no fukn tunnell and he disnt lay in no fukn laundry cart back in 2001. He walked out under heavy security then and he walked out under heavy security this time. For those that that understand world politics and money then you know every year in February is when each country is judged wheather they will get there aid from the US. Why do you think Chapo always escapes in February..... Another thing Chapo and Mayo dont fight with nobody over plazas, they simply supply most other cartels. Yeah some cartels have they own plugs, but that's small compared to the Sinaloans. The only one to rival them as far as connections was Beltran Leyva and thats when Don Arturo was alive. The Arrellanos were almost on the same level, yeah they controlled TJ but Chapo revolutionized with the tunnels and his connects became bigger because the columbians couldn't understand how he was movinf his coke so fast never lossing loads and never stealing money. Is Chapo a killer, yes but thats the nature of the business. Do innocents get caught up sometimes yea, but one thing about Chapo he's an honorable man. Everybody thinks he's a snitch. Wrong. He tried back in 2005 to bring all of the cartels together to work as one group and no violence. But just as with gangs or football teams everybody doesnt understand or get it. That was the problem. He does not try to control plazas not even sinaloa he simply gives people who want to work in the business an opportunity with these instructions, "CONTROL YOUR AREA NO VIOLENCE NO EXTORTION OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT INVOLVED", if you dont or are not able to to i willshow you how, after I remove you. "Now are you sure you want to work". Once he says that and you shake his hand there is no turning back. You are expected to hold up your end..... Im not sure of wats going on with this situation but know Chapo I think he's caught in the middle. He's not going to kill his mothers son, and he's mad that his brother killed their father's son. But his hands are tied on this one.....

  40. 6:20 PM, "Blood pulls," la sangre jale, hermano. Couldn't buy into Chapo's laundry cart/tunnel prison escape routines, either. We're over saturated and hyper pixelated when it comes to Chapo, everyone's a f'cking expert. What's goin down is a puzzle cuz the box already came missing key pieces. So, what do we know? Chapo's straight forward to work for, his peeps appreciate exactly where they stand from the get-go. Chapo is an industry worth billions. Whether, los gringajos pathetic moralizing digs it or doesn't, Chapo's home turf's economy aka Mexico's tanks without his enterprise. FARC got a ticket to ride, thanks to the Havana Drug Club, can't be touched--no extradition to los states for kidnapping, torture, drug trafficking or massacres. In Mexico and Colombia the plazas belong to the government(s). The Colombian plaza's new CEO seems to be FARC. Chapo's CEO position in Mexico may be at issue. My opinion is the Mexican gob and foreign mining and the private energy sector intend on helping themselves to Sinaloa's mineral and water resources. Chasing Chapo is a pretext, a manipulated distraction. In 2015, ZETAS & FARC are practically interchangeable, judging by their employment as well paid mercenaries working for Eric Prince. That's no lie. That FARC is killing Mexicans in their own country is another inconvenient fact. This is how I see what's going on. FARC is all over Mexico and Central America, right now. Hypothetically, Mexico may be eliminating its cartels like Colombia did in the spirit of the famoso y maldito North American Union, with FARC ending up as CEO of Mexico's plaza. Revenge is a bitch. El colombiano ni perdona ni olvida. At the end of the day, though, the Mexicans have always proven to be smarter than the Colombians. Stay tuned!
