Zetas: thousands of bones found at Nuevo Leon narco rancho

By Lucio R. Borderland Beat

At least 31,000 fragments of human bones were found on a ranch in Nuevo Leon, (northern Mexico), which allegedly was used by organized crime to incinerate their victims to dispose of their bodies. Apparently heavy rains unearthed the remains.

The town of Salinas Victoria is located approximately 26 kilometers north of the metropolitan area of Monterrey, the capital of Nuevo Leon.

Nuevo Leon borders the United States, is controlled by Los Zetas.

The exact location of the ranch has not been made public as the investigation and search continues to discover additional bone fragments.

The N.L. state attorney Priscila Rivas claims said although they do not have an exact number of bodies the bone fragments represent, supposedly so farinvestigators have been able to determine that the remains belong to at least 31 people who had been reported missing.

She went on to say only a fraction of the bones have been forensically tested so far.

If anyone thinks the state of Nuevo Leon has the desire or funds to test thousands of bones, please recall the 2011 cases of narco fosas (clandestine graves) discovered in Tamaulipas (in photo above) and Durango City, Durango, over 500 bodies discovered.  Government agencies promised forensic studies of  all remains found. They called on family members, in those areas, who had missing loved ones, to provide samples of their DNA, to assist attempts in identifying remains, by matching the samples with bodies and bones discovered.

The truth of the matter is that the majority of the remains found were never tested.  Families reported that offers of blood samples were refused by authorities, leaving them with the only reasonable conclusion, that testing was not going to be conducted.

Same scenario in the Northeastern state of Coahuila.

In 2014 the federal government made a push into specific areas such as Cinco Manantiales (Five Springs), in search on remains of the thousands of missing persons who vanished in the past decade. Coahuila is the backbone of Los Zetas and is where its premier leaders Lazca was killed, Z40 (Miguel Trevino) arrested and Z42 lived.  42 (Omar Trevino) lived in Cinco Manantiales on his horse ranch.

Of the 1500+ remains supposedly found on a "narcorancho" in 5 springs, the government implied they belonged to at least 500 people. It was announced they would be “forensically tested”.

We are still waiting for those results and the list of who the remains belong to.

The government, both state and federal, were in a continuing attack by human rights groups, such as CADHAC, who stopped working with government agencies after years of being fed inaccuracies, fallacy, and fabrications, in hope to quiet families of the missing and human rights organizations. Many were in the mindset that the 5 springs “search” was nothing more than theater.

Another element that Tamaulipas, Durango and Coahuila have in common is they are all considered as beigng narco news blackout states.  News about organized crime is largely missing in the media, or heavily censored.

The families and friends of the victims want revenge.
Now that weapons are easier to come by in Mexico the planes are equal. Now we see that their man weapon was intimidation ... Hahahahaha no one is scared if these little putas. They are scared if normal people thays why they dont nut up and say "Yeah I am a zeta"

    1. Your best bet is go to PGR in DF.
Take a DNA results from the closest family member to the missing.
Be as prepared with the information you have, organize it for presentation.

call and make an appointment. Take a group of 4 or 5 or more.

With this information they may test for a match.

They did test a portion of the remains during the time it was front page news.

Then meet with the state PGR, be careful with them, be polite, offer your DNA for their files. Let them offer anything else.

This is what our family did, and other families we know. One family got "lucky" and there was a match in Tamaulipas. This was at the height of the story. BTW The victim was a male American, who had been pulled off a bus in Matamoros and vanished. That was during the week of terror when tormenta was killied.

Good luck to you and your family

  9. This is heavy on the heart to read. The overwhelming pain and suffering for these families already freaked out of their minds because their loved ones have "gone missing" AND THEN they all get danced by their government's agencies' pathetic performance. Mucha crueldad tan penoso. This is a powerfully important story. It, also, brings the tragedies implied by the ugly word "genocide" to mind. (I kept thinking of the 43 student teachers as I read this). May all these unknown vctims rest peacefully. May there be Justice for their lives and needless killings. Big respects 2 Lucio & BB 4 this.

Far and away from Mexico, we know about the missing student teachers because their fate got plenty of press, so they're who we relate to. Everybody who actually lives in Mexico knows so much more because they're suffering through these horrors in carne propia. Sadly, the 43 aren't the only victims.

  12. The main point to understand/remember is that the cartels and the (corrupt part of) the government have the same objectives: keep the normal law abiding citizens quiet and keep the gravy train rolling.

A special case are the Autodefensas which pose the only threat to the cartels and government.

Interesting enough: the objectives/goals of the real Autodefensas should be the same as those of the US/DEA/FBI: to combat organized crime and corruption in the government.

    2. (August 9th) Another death in Mexico: Man who led search for the missing students - LA Times: "... The tragedy threw a light on the cases of hundreds of other people missing in the state of Guerrero – currently Mexico’s most violent. More than 20,000 people are missing across the whole of the country.

Jimenez, an outspoken critic of the government, spearheaded a group of hundreds of people in Guerrero faced by what they felt was authorities' indifference and lack of action, they began digging in the dry, dusty hills looking for bodies and clues. In an interview in December during one such search in the mountains around Iguala, Jimenez said: “This area – we have always said it – it’s a cemetery."... Since the group began work in November, 129 bodies have been found. .. Mario Vergara, 40, whose brother went missing on July 5, 2014, in Guerrero, said that Jimenez motivated hundreds of families to go out and start looking ..

“He taught us how to search and how to push and every day he would give us the energy to carry on,” said Vergara.

Asked if Jimenez’s death would affect the future of the search parties in the hills, currently on hold during the rainy season, Vergara replied:

“They’ve killed Miguel – we don’t know why, maybe because of the searches, as we were putting the heat on the government... But they’re not going to stop us.”

  21. @September 2, 2015 at 10:15 AM Why are you criticizing Los Pepes and the AUC? Los Pepes were the ones who brought Escobar down - no one else could do it. As for the AUC, they fought the FARC on their own terms and brought Medellin's murder rate from 7000 a year to 700 a year. They gave everyone a choice, play on our terms or die.

The roof top photos of the rest of the crowd with the slain cartel leader do mislead, so your assumption is only natural, mihijito. MAS; AUC; PEPES; FARC; ELN; PLN; URIBISTAS; SANTOS GOV are narcos managed by CIA, DEA. These are Colombia's current "cartels." AUC, Los PP are narco fascist paramilitaries, all total 128 narco fascist paramilitary groups operate in Colombia. Then, there's the offical Colombian military and FARC in the mix.All are brutal killers, who commit masacres, kidnappings, who torture, rape and mutilate other Colombians. The "False Positive" murders and genocide del Indio in a country with a population of 40 million and 10 million "Displaced Persons" proves that peace is seen as bad for business to the Colombian narcos way of thinking. Medellin a cool, safe place, in 2015? Well, sure, if you get to spend your days parked at El Club Campestre.

To demand a better system to stop the flow of ILLEGAL immigrants and to have some sort of idea of who and what is entering your country is not racist. It just makes logical sense.
