Reporter: Proceso Redaction
Six people were killed after attacking a Black Hawk helicopter belonging to the Mexican Marina (Semar), informed the Federal Government.

During a press conference Semar detailed that the helicopter was patrolling the south of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, where they were attacked and repelled the aggression killing six civilians.

The helicopter received six bullet impacts, but none of the three crew were injured. The attack on the Semar helicopter occurred on Sunday night 70 kilometres to the south of the city of Nuevo Laredo, in the waste land zone "El Cuatro", when the helicopter crew saw a group of armed men, who opened fire on the helicopter with rifles, hitting the Black Hawk helicopter in flight.

Semar explained that they carried out the aero operation to surveil a breach into the areas of Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon and Nuevo Guerrero, Tamaulipas, to locate the criminal organization known in their data base.

The group of armed men commenced firing as soon as they noticed the presence of elements of Semar, according to the crew, they fired some warning shots, but they were ignored so they repelled the aggression and killed six people.

Semar informs that they confiscated four vehicles and six firearms for exclusive use by the armed forces.

"All of the dead people were known to both the PGR and the PGJE, some of them from the State of Tamaulipas, in order to attest to the facts", added the statement.

  1. Warning shots to the head and then told them to put their hands up well done soldiers that is the way you deal with these demons

  2. Now were taking, established military manuveres with superior firepower. They probably thought the warning shots were somebody who could not shoot. You got to love it.

    2. In a real war, the mexican armed "forces" would get ripped a new one against anybody, they would still be very busy getting kickbacks from their own side when not raping the women from their own side or kissing the ass of their commanding officers, then that reminds me of the US, who have never won a war since they sold out in Korea, vietnam, nicaragua, argentina, el salvador, iran, iraq afghanistan, lebanon, kurdistan, malaysia... no matter how many people get murdered there by them or their allies...

--the US allows you to object, specially if nobody is about to die or if you are not running away from enemy fire or jeopardizing other soldiers or betraying your country, it is the US, you can sue your officers, and the US will assist you in your case...

    2. 4:25, read the article again. The helecopter crew prevailed. The bad guys werre killed . Aircraft can not bounce bullets off. Blackhawk helocopters have redundent systems so that one cable is shot, a second cable still works. Any aircraft would land after being shot so that they can inspect the damage. Even a BB gun shot would have to be inspected and possibly repaired. The helecopter that was shot down earlier this year was a russian POS. This incident shows that Blackhawks are fit for combat. Remember that aircraft have to be lightweight and cannot be built like a tank. Aircraft are not made to sustain a crash either. They are made to fly.

    5. @5:42 did you ever watch black hawk down clearly a black hawk helicopter can be taken down since it has no armour like a tank. If it had armour it would be too heavy to lift off. Some attack helicopter have armour for small arms fire but they all get riddled in bullets because theyre not tanks.

Should the rounds have bounced off the Blackhawk, better still,vaporised..
In the US they would have?

    7. Of course, not, Blackhawks like any other war materials are supposed to disintegrate at the sight of rain, so the military contractors can get more supplies there at the expense of the american taxpayer or amerikkkan creditors...

--being that the mexican people are the same conformist ignorant people that we have always been and that we run away from conflict, all that crime can be blamed on the satraps that "govern" the plantation for their foreign masters...

  14. Cartel desperation. Soon there will be new rules of engagement as this is starting to get commonplace. Looking forward to judicial laws invoking terrorism and very soon the cartels will be positively labeled terrorist organizations. EPN is running out of options and the cartels will soon have nowhere to hide as once targeted as terrorists the war begins anew and fiercer on the part of the government.

    2. Yes and it must be nice to know that your government has sponsored more coups throughout the Caribbean, the Americas, and countless African countries where democratic rulers have been ousted thanks to USA funding, training, and sales of good old made in the U.S. weaponry. Chile, El Salvador, and so many other countries have had governments elected by the populace that with US intervention were overthrown and people trying to protect their own electoral processes were tortured and disappeared. Look in the mirror before throwing stones.

  20. Sounds like the Blackhawk made good use of the miniguns (I believe M34's) they have installed. 6,000 rounds per minute against six AK-47's is not really a fair fight but who wants a fair fight. Six more thugs who probably looked like hamburger after the Blackhawk's miniguns took care of business. Three cheers for the good guys and the Blackhawks!
