El Chacal from CAF arrested.

Borderland Beat

Alberto Avila "El Chacal" and his brother Jesus Omar
(Tijuano´s note: In past weeks several corpses have been left in Zona Norte with banners threatening Aquiles and Rana´s people for "coming near Zona Norte", the guy arrested has been continuously mentioned as the one responsible for this)

Alberto Avila Alvarado aka "El Chacal" was arrested yesterday in Playas de Tijuana by agents of the Municipal Police. Avila Alvarado is believed to be the successor of his deceased brother-in-law Manuel Toscano Rodriguez aka "El Mono".

"El Chacal" was captured in an operation done by Tijuana´s Municipal Police Special Forces and members of their intelligence branch. At the moment of his capture, Avila Alvarado was accompanied by his brother Jesus Omar Avila, both of them were in possession of a AK-47 rifle and an undisclosed but considerable amount of drugs.

According to intelligence reports from the Municipal  Public Safety Agency, "El Chacal" is one of the main providers to retail dealers in Zona Norte and is currently in dispute with a guy nicknamed "El Alejo".

His brother-in-law was Manuel Toscano Rodriguez, an alleged cell leader from the Arellano Felix Organization and the guy in charge of managing the criminal activities in the famed Zona Norte area up until his execution last month outside the State Court.

Both of the detainees are currently under custody from the State´s Attorney General Office facing charges of illegal gun possession and crimes against health(drug charges).

It is worth mentioning "El Chacal" has been arrested several times before this operation, all of those times he has been caught in possession of weapons, drugs and money and all the time he has been left free, much like "El Mono" was before him.

  2. After all the golden era transcended from the late 80s, 90s and some years of the early 2000s within the proclaimed notorious Tijuana Cartel ran by the famous AF brothers, this is what it became from it, Fat boys in cheap express polos getting busted by the local police. Back in CAF golden era, you needed the military to capture a single heavyweight of that mafia. CAF is not a cartel anymore. It's a street gang in Tijuana that even the local municipal police don't take as a threat like when Ramon was around. Please feel free to illuminate me if you think otherwise.

  5. @ Tijauno, Remember back in 2000, Rancho San Antonio, which is above Playas de Tijauna, there was that meth lab. It had twenty foot walls and was all by it self. I got a photo of empty discarded boxes of antihistamine as big as a van. I used to practice on my dirtbike back up in those hills. You could smell it for miles when they were cook'in. That is when I knew Mexico was going downhill, fast.

  6. If you arent with Sinaloa Cartel you only get so far in mexico .Look at whats happening to Mencho ..though he was strong, experienced and that he didnt need CDS he didnt want to calm down or operate for CDS . He forgot Nacho Coronel was his dad ...now he turned his back on CDS and thought he could control all of Jalisco .Big mistake ,Ivan Archivaldo Guzman ,Alfredo Beltran Guzman,el azul sons, Martin Beltran Coronel,Damaso Lopez jr all operate out of Guadalajara .Mencho tried to impose rules as if it was his plaza. So on may 1st el Mayo sent a liltle message to Mencho . And thats the beginning. Jalisco is a neutral state to traffic no one cartel own the plaza .

    2. Are you kidding me? What does el mencho need CDS for?? To get snitched on when a sinaloa rat gets captured?? Lmao stop listening to corridos, el mencho is the boss of jalisco, and ehether you like it or not he is the one that gives protection to those that you mentioned. El mayo didnt send a message, hes retired, and if that were the case then it shows how badly they need mencho on their team. if you dont know what you are talking about then just stfu

    3. How did he try to control all of Jalisco ?so who was he suppose to operate with CDS.the only person wanting to gain more territory was mayo and chapo why would he fund CDS for something that was not in his interest CDS does the exact same thing.how come CDS didn't back up Los coroneles against mencho if nacho coronel was their top guy and menchos daddy.all the narco families are there.if you touch sombodys family your done .no exceptions.azul didn't move any chess peices when mayo and chapo tangoed with the BLO.that dosnt mean he is not or dosnt support CDS.mencho attacking is because whoever is on their payroll is not keeping their agreement.

    6. 1:12 I agree. The way cdsniches works is if a cartel is getting strong, they snitch on them to D.E.A or Mexican marina to go capture them. Chapo snitched on the arellanos, cartel de golfo bosse, ct, la familia and now cjng. do your research if you don't believe this fact. I have been following this so called "drug war" for years. real spit

At 10:24 a.m. Most people in the world keep their nicknames from childhood or are given nicknames in later years for whatever reasons.
At 10:56 a.m. 10:24 did not understand using the word, every, when they used it with a specific ethnic group.
At 10:24 a.m. Using the word, every-body, -one, and ect. pertaining to a group, culture, or people in general shows a narrow mind. The person writing it reveals an insecurity to accept responsibility for their own biases, or actions.
I will be the first to put in writing that the trust in a belief can change. It is called the evidence-based education system.

I know a lot of Hispanics and I don't call any of them by a nickname. Its not like we don't know the real names of most of these narcos, because we do.

All Mexicans I know have nicknames, monikers, handle ect... I guess it has to do with the easy playfulness the Spanish language lends itself to like Chicano calo, Mexican calo, Mexican albur and slang in general.

    2. And why would aquiles tax CDS ,CJNG when they use somebody to transport their weight .once it leaves their hands a deal is deal thats up to the group that gets the contract to pay up but that tax money is for protection how do you think these officials get corrupted they get frequent flyer miles the narco way.only groups and cells who just kidnapp and extort cant afford that tax you got to pay to play.tijuana has a union nothing to do with the CAF .only thing is CAF refuses to pay they left them a message already that the cash register is open drop of the money or get dealt wit !nobody will go after them the problem is when they get of their zone its over !!interception

You nailed it. Now thr CAF is a minor player probably on the same playing field as CDG and BLO. Both of which still operate but have been targeted by the military's force fiercely.

If el cartel de las traciones taught anybody something is ... Fuck allowing any one to pay taxes on your turf. Murder them right away. All they will do is fund internal conflicts and then disclose your location to authoritarian curruption. Mean while the entire time they were paying taxes they were coordinating building a tunnel or bribing the same people the regional cartel was bribing.

So yea CAF probably won't return to full scale operations. A lot has changed since then the methods of transportation is different the technology is advanced so being stealthy doesn't work any more. You gotta bribe a corrupt official. Or send in double agents to work for the opposing cartel and then kick those cell numbers to the DEA or DHS just say that they plan on amounting an arsenal from drug proceeds to fund an offensive against the states. Well atleast it worked for el cartel de las traiciones for a littlewhile before they all stabbed each other in the back.

Fat boys in knock off polos.

SMH ... ... ...CAF step your game up. Hire some specialist in logistics production telecommunications combat that is if you want full control of the plaza dont let any one in. Talk to China they do good business.

    1. Then explain why Pancho Arellano got whacked in the middle of his party down in Cabo? If the Arellano Felix mob were still heavy factors in the game, then no way this hit would have been sanctioned in the first place. On top of that no bodyguards? not even one? Enedina was present there also and no bodyguards either? Not very wise. Benja and Ramon could own their own cemetery. That Cartel whacked countless of heads related to somebodies and nobodies. Retaliation to that family was a matter of time. Yeah. CAF had it's golden years and ran the mega organization of the 90s just like the Medellin Cartel in Colombia had its tight ship. I believe the Tijuana Cartel had over 2,000 associates on both side of the border back in that era. The AF brothers are gone. The nephews jumped ship to Sinaloa. CAF is just a Sopranos glorified crew with its head cut off. But by all means the floor is all yours senator... Tell me how CAF is still the mega cartel of the millinemium...

To a third party it might seem like a challenge but to the ppl involve in tj its an oh well. Ur on the right path with the association numbers. The nephews and Sinaloa thing you read it on zeta and Don't deny it. Let me answer ur ?. Ramon's vision was to expand dominate/war some southern states in the republic. The ppl in charge now think the whole opposite. Lets secured the castlevand its sorroundingds. The shit gos up in mex not down. Re-enforce the city was the order back in 06. Ur problem is u can't stand seeing other cartels (Sinaloa) asking permition to work in a plaza without sending the gov etc to take it over. They tried for 20+ yrs no luck.. 2015 menos lol. Caf is where it wants to be period!
