Another daytime execution in Tijuana

Man executed in Zona Centro

Days after narco mantas were thrown up at three points in the city, there has been a series of killings, a tension in the air, as some wonder again, will the city descend into frenzied violence? Last night an attempted kidnapping and murder, with 7 heavily armed men wearing body armor.  The attack was repelled, but many were struck by the brazen attack, something that has largely disappeared from the city in recent years.

In the days preceding the mantas, there were executions in the city, including 3 at a rehabilitation center, reminiscent similar attacks in Juarez, and one body found encojibido, in La Presa, wrapped in a blanket and executed.  Another man was gunned down in a garage off Sanchez Taboada. It all could be unrelated, fleeting pieces of violence and torture, only linked through their brutality and ability to shatter a families life.  An endless common thread of blood, power and death.

This morning Luis Manuel Tosanco, 'El Mono' was murdered at taco stand in La Mesa, in what
appears to be a coordinated, precision execution and ambush.  Hours later another not yet identified man was murdered in Zona Centro, his attacker was arrested moments later with a .40 caliber pistol.

Few detail have been released, and none may be, as another anonymous death briefly punctuates the calm of a city.  In any case, it escalates the tension and lingering threat of violence.

Due to the fact that not only does cjng have the backing of the sinaloa but also its allies. This my friend is going to be very interesting. The zetas are done. BLO is out of thr picture. Caution: To the smaller cartels dont mess with these guys they are playing for keeps. A new chapter in Narco world is about to wrote.

  10. Cjng wants a plaza all its own. Sensing weakness in the plaza they are moving on it. But as my crew mostly from juarez was working in Guadalajara the locals always said to us,"you boys are a long way from home" good luck with the locals

    1. I could agree with you in that. El mono was never a big pusher for caf he was only small time idiot. He became more of a nuisance so if he got killed nobody would care especially here in the zona. But hey any thing is possible

  14. Your connection is the taquero that sold the tacos to el mono before he got killed. There are several different factions fighting for tijuana and CAF seems to be losing the little ground they have left.
