Six PRI activists were arrested by the Attorney General of the State (PGJE) as suspected of beheading the son of the local leader of Partido Verde, who was found dead last Monday.

On Monday 23 morning, residents of the municipality of Altamirano reported the discovery of a headless body in the road that stretches from Morelia-La Laguna.  Immediately agents of the Municipal Police and State Preventive Police (PEP) arrived on the scene.

When the agents of the Public Ministry arrived, the head was found to one side of the body.

Witnesses reported that the individual who was identified as Amilcar Guzmán Jiménez, 40 years old, who had been seen drinking alcoholic beverages on Sunday afternoon.

After the murder of Amilcar Guzmán Jiménez, the Attorney General of the State initiated investigations and  disclosed the names of the murderers.

The investigations disclosed that days before his assassination, Amilcar Guzmán Jiménez, who was a member of PVEM and son of a local leader of the party, was threatened with death by members of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

This led to the arrest of Ranulf Pérez Méndez, Moisés Pérez Méndez, Jorge Braulio Pérez Hernández, Ronais Hernández Guzmán, Rosember Méndez Pérez Pérez and Fidelino Pérez, all local PRI activists, who were presented as the main suspects in the murder/decapitation.

Authorities have not provided an official statement, but it is presumed that the motive for the murder could be a rivalry between political parties in the municipality of Altamirano.

    2. Drug cartels love southern mexican states like Oaxaca, Chiapas because that is where they can safely stash their tons of drugs to later move it up north of mexico when needed via airplane most of the time. To then they later move it to further north into the US. They also have safe houses in those places where they got the 100's of millions stacked one on top of other. Ask the big dogs from sinaloa, jalisco they should know about it. Money the southern states of mexico could use.

    1. See, this is not terrorism, or it might be, we need to interrogate the head, because the mouth is there, and that is the only chance to know his opinion...
--Maybe anybody that belongs to the PVEM needs to watch their step, their leaders are CORRUPT, WORSE THAN EL PRI...

  4. PRI has won back the vote of the north for cleaning the zetas and next the golfos, and the south and poor of Mexico for keeping precios tortilla de maiz stable. PAN tried to address institutionalized federal corruption and open markets, but after 12 years we took 3 steps forward and one back because the corruption just went to local levels from federal. At least our middle class is bigger, more educated, and less tolerable of corruption now. I hope after EPN that PAN will pick up where they left off but keep a better hold on the drug business as the PRI has with los Sinaloenses since the 1940s.

El PRI has not won any votes, even had to buy the congressmen and senators votes with millions of pesos to pass their rapacious legislation privatizing pemex and other paraestatales, PRIISTA legislators at the front of the line catching their pay like the judas es they are, manlio fabio beltrones 'la fabis' and manuel cavazos lerma 'el raton viejo' fixing their prices, to earn impunity for their drug trafficking and money laundering from the US...
The fucking PRI will not earn any more votes, they may steal more elections, again...

Also, the dude had the middle finger out,and a gunshot wound on his back. What's the point of beheading him. When he's sleeping dead.? Bring in the death penalty and televised it .
