"Changuito Ántrax” Captured in Culiacán

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat
Rafael Guadalupe Félix Núñez alias “el Changuito Ántrax”, was captured by the Mexican navy last Thursday in Culiacán.

He  is considered a successor to Rodrigo Arechiga aka “El Chino Antrax”.

Félix Núñez is the son in law of Martiniano Vizcarra, the current sub director of the Ministerial Police for the State of Sinaloa.

The arrest follows on the heels of last week’s capture of  Ismael Zambada Imperial,  alias 'El  Mayito Gordo',  the son of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, and his cousin Eliseo Imperial alias “El Cheyo”.

Those arrests were on Wednesday.

  4. They need to arrest all of the politicians and not the narcos. The narcos only do what they are allowed to do. Start arresting the children of the politians while you are at it. They get arrested too for the sins of their parents. Get a real job junior.

    1. " Any cartel that sells ice or crack to people within Mexico should be leveled to the ground"

How dare they in Mexico? Its ok if they flood other countries with Ice but how dare they sell to Mexicans? How can they do that to paisano

    2. Most of those places in conflict are under local control of a non ruling party which means local authorities are pinned against state or even federal law enforcement. There is a political attempt of control the assignment of territories to particular enterprises. It's a narco state and it gets that way by having Narco-politicians. Legalization in the US is about to change things in México. The fact that you can get killed for possesing the wrong "brand" of weed in México while in several states in the US have stores where you can buy it for recreational use is hypocritical. Crime is down in Colorado and they're receiving 30 million in tax rebate because they raised so much income from taxing the damn thing. Control the sale, and provide, needle exchanges, and drug rehab programs. PARA QUE LAS DROGAS NO LLEGUEN A TUS HIJOS TE LOS ESTAMOS MATANDO.

Drug dealers in border town like Nogales & Agua Prieta are actually restricted from selling heroin or meth

    4. Crime is not down in colorado... and legalization of marijuana only harbors more crime... i know personally many cases of people growing and getting robbed and even killed over there crops... and legalization would only make drugs from mexico cheaper.

    5. Let me guess, you are a top level DEA agent who would rather rant anonymously, instead of coming out and providing facts and stats. Nothing wrong with progress and change

    6. Your nationalistic goals are fruitless, the meth and heroin sold in america just goes into the mexicans systems so they can work longer to send more money home to work longer to send money home to work longer, its a nonstop effort, most of the mexicans I work with id say 80 percent drink heavily on friday do a little coke and weed and get up on monday with a bit of speed, so most of the drugs get used by your regal paisas and I guess whatever crumbs are left they sell off..

  5. Wow. So much of the CDS leadership has gone down in the past year. Is it time to say that whatever alliance existed between CDS and los federales is over? Clearly Sinaloa state authorities are still on the take, but that doesn't seem to hold back the feds My guess: EPN is panicking because of all the attention on the student martyrs. He's giving up the guys on his payroll that he can flip the easiest, in the hope that this draws media attention away and makes him seem "tough on crime".

  15. Chapo paid 5.5 million to the Mexican Government to be in jail for 3 years and not extradicted (once out he will have his millions still)
Serafin Zambada knew he was wanted and "tried to cross to the us" his plan was to be caught and stay in usa for 4 years - no major charges (once out he will have his millions)
Mayito Gordo paid 3 million dollars to mexican government to keep him in Mexico for 2 years, not extradition (once out he will have his millions)
El soldado Imperial, and Chango antrax the same they will be in jail for 2 years and out with Mayito Gordo.

    Remember this:

Mayo will "get arrested" on January of 2015, he will serve 4 years in Mexico with no extradition and then out by 2020.

**for those those who think that mexico or usa are doing their work, no!! the government are the puppets at this moment, ask your self. why wasnt there any gun battles, why werent guns or drugs found during the arrest, why was there no money** just think about that... this are well planned arrest

not like Nacho Coronel, Beltran Leyva and some of the Zetas - those were real arrest that ended in shootouts and deaths.

    1. $5.5 million is not a lot. The U.S. was previously offering a $5 million reward for Chapo's capture. The U.S. easily provides far more than that in foreign aid to Mexico each year (much of which gets funneled to crooked politicians, as we all know). Especially considering CDS has, what, hundreds of millions in revenue per year? If what you describe is true, the cost had to be way higher.

The reason why CDS gets treated with kid gloves by the government is because they're structured like a corporation, keep violence to as much of a minimum as possible in their own territory, and they don't engage in (anywhere near as much) kidnappings and extortion (as much as the Zetas or CT or other cartels). At this point, I don't think anyone in Mexico really gives a damn about the narcotics. It's the violence, corruption, and erosion of the civil state that has come with the narcotics that has people furious.

Personally, I think EPN is arresting all of these people for show to distract the world from the massacred students. CDS is to EPN as what Bin Ladin was to the U.S. Keep them close and when you need to cash in some political capital, flip them and put on a show arrest and get all the congratulations for being "tough on crime".

  19. Mexico is giving narcos the opportunity to give in do some jail time and pay a few million to clean their name same as in the US. The difference is the price to get out here is much much more and also the time is much more than in Mexico. So its a no brainer for Mexican narcos right now to turn themselves in to the Mexican Gov.

  27. @5:47 unsinkable ford expeditions?
@2:02 the politicians have always been behind most of all the drug trafficking, with help of the military and federal police, AND they got tired of receiving "tips" from the motherfucking narcs...
--now the narcs are the ones allowed to keep some "tip" for themselves, and sell it or eat it, the ones who can't move it to the US, will sell it on mexico, it's all good, people work longer hours for less money...
--Politicians have no excuse, they know what is up, and chose to play along, before their intervention, the narcs kept to themselves...

    1. I agree.Somethings changed.Just like the Mexicans worked for the Columbians then learned to do it themselves and buy their own loads[more profit]now the politicians want to put the narcos out of business[maybe that's why extortions, kidnappings up].Tuta and Costillo might be a perfect example along with Viagras. So Mexico may now be a total NARCO_STATE now or should I say NARCO_COUNTRY FEDERALLY.Boy isn't that something in our own backyards.

    2. Are you slow ?? The politicians are the ones who started drug trafficking in Mexico especially in sinaloa they been extorting racketeering drugs the whole shabamm it's not nothing new.
