Mexico A.G.: Bodies from Iguala graves are not missing students

Chivis Martinez for Borderland Beat
As I reported over the weekend, Guerrero's governor Aguirre began making statements that some of the tested remains, presumably those of missing normalistas,  were not matching relatives.

Aguirre went so far as to state, "I think some of the students may be alive."  This was several days before the "DNA testing" results were in.

Today the Attorney General of the Republic, Jesús Murillo Karam, said 28 bodies exhumed from initial mass graves in Iguala, Guerrero, are not  the missing normalistas, this was determined by  DNA tests.

"I can say that we already have results from the first graves found,  I can tell you that they do not match the DNA of the families of these young people.."

The AG did not say which agency conducted the testing, or if federal testing was in tandem with the state.  This usually occurs in controversial cases. The remains of kidnapped and murdered American, Harry Devert were tested both by Guerrero and federal agencies.

Also not addressed was the fact that, supposedly, it was detainees that gave information of the locale where the missing normalistas were buried.

  2. OMG! How many massacres have gone on unnoticed? The Mexican govt and EPN now have to really go to war against these beasts. They have to cut off the head of the snake now. Not tomorrow, not next week. NOW! They have to shutdown and eliminate the cartels ASAP and they have to start using extra-judicial justice. Go home to home, business to business and grab known cartel members and start executing them on the streets. The govt has to change their plans of apprehending, they have to start executing these pieces of waste. Congress needs to enact new laws against these terrorist cartels and new means of street justice. If need be, bring an unbribed judge on raids and fights and have him pronouncethe finding of guilt on the streets and sentence to death with no appeals and immediately after the verdict to execute on the spot these worthless children of satan.

    4. Mexican government fault for letting all the drug cartels get that big to the point they cant control them anymore. They always knew they existed but didn't do a shit about it.. NOW the damn criminals are running the government by force with TREATS, KIDNAPPINGS, CORRUPTION, KILLINGS of whoever wont play by their side. The united states must help clean all that mexican garbage before they start doing the same thing in the US! Get rid of all the fucking monsters terrorising the hopeless society of mexico. and it CAN be done! @9:09pm it's just that sometimes the govs don't do what it must be done! with hard work and good intellegence the pieces can fall together in one place. after all even big evil monsters are made of flesh and bones..

    6. The Mexican Government and EPN would have to cut off their own heads. This is not likely to happen.

    7. What a shit. Are they trying to turn mexico into a 2nd italy? italy is run by the evil mafia monters the difference in italy is that they seem to know what they do unlike mexican drug cartels that just kill, kill, kill, and destroy, destroy, destroy the only "good" thing that comes out of it is blood money. Mafias and drug cartels are a negative force that thrive on pure destruction of others.

  3. You see, the govt fed words in the mouths of the detainees to fingerpoint el Benjamin. They need everybody silenced. How many more victims have the govt and the cartels colluded on? This is a high level govt ordered coverup. EPN must have death squads operating with the cartels. Hopefully the people will rise up and overthrow the corrupt govt.

  4. Are the cartels and EPN operating Nazi type "death camps"? How many more bodies are going to be found?? Christ Almighty, how many more? Genocide with impunity, these are the same as war crimes and now the Mexican govt has to be investigated under a microscope. The govt is allowing these crimes to go on and on. This time however, they fell into a shit storm they can't get out of.

I hate to say it but its a matter of time b4 the students show up at another gravesite or maybe never found.Maybe the detainees have slaughtered so many they forget which ones are at which gravesite. This just tells me the magnitude of the disappeared. This is a mess for the government.Huge coverup they'll try but think cat is out of the bag now.Amnesty or other agencies are going to be all over this like a dirty shirt. And good its about bloody time.{no pun intended].

  11. all these cartels are being reduced to street gangs. cartels are splitting into 2-3 different groups. soon instead of cartels youll have gangs, just like here in the US.

    1. That's a lie. each time the base of a drug cartel is hit hard a couple different gangs are formed by the remainding low level cartel members, those then go on crime sprees robbing, kiddnaps, killings, extortion, etc.. to keep the gang going until they got enough power to start the drug traficking scheme again, that way becoming another new cartel bringing hell to the society once again. if they dont want more cartel criminals popping out of every where then they must get rid of of all of them at once! but is not that easy thats the problem. talking about the mexicans

    2. That's how most of those big drug cartels that are in mexico now where formed.

  12. The students are among the dead. The Gob is using smoke and mirrors to aviid a big headline in rhe worldwide press spotlight. By the time the inevitable determination is made, the impact will be half. A monkey could tellIif the bodies were the students without waiting on DNA lab results. They may have tested some bodies initiallty that they know are not the students as a ruse. What about a basic investigation? The police abducted students did not disappear in to thin air! Rise up peiple or accept the status quo.

  13. Ok 28 carcasses found, there are about 250 000 dead or disappeared, now we only have to find the rest of them, more than 500 from the san fernando massacre, the missing south americans too, a few thousands more a year...
Crime against humanity has traveled north, like the monarch butterfly, coming home to the north for a looong winter, US better get ready...you ain't seen nothin' yet...
--By the way were the victims of the Mountain Meadow Massacre ever found?
Brigham young's LDS disciples were practicing mass murder and disappearances of traveling pilgrims way back on the 1800s and practicing tea party politics of disguising themselves as 'indians' to skirt the blame...

    2. Carcass could be used for a dead human but in my mind it would be in bad taste.
