    1. That coke aint worth no 60 million. 630 lbs. of coke divided by 2.2 n multiply that by 19 or 20 and that is the true value.

    2. When they say street value they mean by the gram..so yeah..that's 60 million..if sold gram for gram

  10. A good 80 to 90% of these bands wash money take loads bring money down . With the talent they have greed quickly takes over its a shame. The quickest one to snitch is the fastest to come out with the best deal. Why all the sad faces in the mug shots when they got payed big happy faces...

  13. These guys might live in Texas, but they sure as hell ain't from here... Tienen cara de nopal, besides real 'Tejano' bands would not be named Zinzzero. Don't be putting our Tejano title on any fools.

    1. You my friend are an idiot. I guess you've never north of I-10. Bc in americas eyes if your last name is gonzales, rodriguez, garcia ect.... You are also a nopal. Theres no such thing as tejano its just a term for people ashamed of their mexican heritage.

    2. You are an idiot. Tejano is a genre and these guys aren't Tejano. More mojado! Tejano bands have their own style and I bet these guys barely have any talent other than getting busted. They are Norteno, Banda, or some other forms of Mexican drug mule music. Tejanos are born in USA not hiding in border towns waiting for the next shipment of drugs.

  14. who ever dreamed up this idea will get cooked. this was one of the dumbest busts I have seen. so much coke in one load with such an easily profiled transporter. I wonder if they were caught because of one of those xray machines? dumb fucks.

  15. Shouldn't have worked for CDG.

  16. I think these guys will need more than Willie's attorney! I wonder if they were tipped to this load, or if the band was already on authority's radar and the drug dogs went nuts? Regardless cool story, Chivis. Excellent to have you back.

  17. They look handsome on the album cover but are butt ugly in the booking photos. Someone put some serious time into photoshopping that album cover. If I were a border guard, I would raise an eyebrow at the superfluous use of the letter Z in the bands name. Sometimes the irony is undeniable. LOL. P.S., I am still in prayer for you Chivis. Welcome back.

But in the other hand, you never know. Maybe this was just one try and there was going more through. They have tons of it anyway. Or it was "100% sure" thing but someone ratted it out. There's so many factors that outsiders only can speculate.

  20. They should of called them
    selfs Banda Los PendejoZ.
its so clear They worked for z
they should of just put los Zetas

  24. I have known these guys and also worked with them for a while, they are not zetas. Far from it, these guys have been trying for years in the music industry and are still at it. I can promise you that the drugs were not theirs. Thats why they look the way they look, I would be surprised myself if I was on the bus. When you say they will walk, its true cuz they are innocent.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Very far from being Zetas!! These men are all innocent!! Whoever put "mariachi" is an idiot! and obviously has no clue what the difference is between this band and mariachi..there is no drummer, bass guitarist nor an accordion involved in a group of mariachi. Everyone should be worried about what goes on in their neighborhoods by stopping the rapist, child molesters and soo on...better yet start by throwing away the crack pipes and bud you people have stashed in your homes!!! I agree with the anonymous right above @5:25 A.M These drugs were not theirs!!

    1. Nice try on misdirection, bravo! I'm sure they're aren't innocent, the band has been around for a while but unfortunately they haven't been able to make it to the big leagues and I'm sure they're economical needs became too much for them.

And for the record, there is a HUGE difference between Tejanos and Mexicanos. For starters, Tejanos are Americans!

  36. To whomever wrote, "there's no such thing as Tejano, it's just a term for people ashamed of their Mexican heritage." Are you serious or just plain ignorant? I was born in Texas of Mexican parents & not ashamed to say so, however I don't go around flying the Mexican flag because I wasn't born in Mexico & therefore it's not my country, it belonged to my parents. Mexico has never given me anything nor has it ever asked anything of me & vice-versa. For 25 years I proudly served & defended the Stars & Stripes which is the flag I fly on 4th of July & Veteran's Day. During the Gulf War with a crew of Tejanos, my vehicle flew the Texas flag, our statement, "We're from Texas," years later it flew in Iraq as well. It's called "Texas Pride" & it comes in different shapes & colors, just ask former Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell (Lone Survivor) who displayed his Texas pride as well. Semper Fi!
