Camarena's Killer: Caro Quintero Ordered Arrested and Extradited

BorderlandBeat.Com
Good luck locating him

A Mexican judge on Wednesday ordered the arrest of notorious drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero -- who was freed last week on a technicality -- after receiving a US extradition request.
US authorities were outraged  by the surprise release of Caro Quintero, who had served just 28 years of a 40-year sentence for the abduction, torture and killing of a US drug agent in 1985.

The 60-year-old, once a senior figure in a now-defunct cartel, was convicted of killing the US Drug Enforcement Agency's Enrique Camarena and his Mexican pilot Alfredo Zavala.
But on August 7 a judge in the western state of Jalisco ordered his release, and Caro Quintero has gone missing since he left prison.

The federal judge accepted the request from the US government, saying Caro Quintero was wanted for "various offenses" in the state of California, the Mexican attorney general's office said.

If and when Caro Quintero is detained, US authorities will have 60 days to submit a formal extradition request, it added.

The US National Security Council had said Sunday it was "deeply concerned" by Caro Quintero's release and feared another individual connected to the Camarena killing could also be set free.

Mexican Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Meade downplayed the dispute over the release, saying it would not affect relations with Washington because both governments opposed the court ruling, which he said should be "revised."

Caro Quintero was a leading figure in the Guadalajara Cartel. The now-defunct organization was one of the early Mexican drug mafias that linked up with Colombian groups to smuggle cocaine and other drugs into the United States.

    8. @8:51 am. Yeah right, the USA don't supply shit. We trade with your politicians @ the White House, they give helicopters and weapons, and we give them tons of high quality cocaine, marijuana and methods, because the one produced in the USA ain't worth a shit. You need to train your hillbillies on meth production, because any 8 year old boy down the border can do that better.

This was text book US infantry training. I read one report of an ambush the zetas used on the Feds using pre designated fields of fire and even air support !!!! They then used radio brevity codes when they e gressed from their firing positions!!!
The US will never admit to training the zetas because of the bad press but trust me The original zetas all had us/Israeli advanced infantry training

Yes, we even supply the cartels with weapons so they can kill themselves and bunch of innocent people.

Eric Holder should be extradited to Mexico for supplying all those weapons. It clearly say upon crossing into Mexico that crossing firearms in Mexico is a federal crime and Eric Holder put more guns in that country than anyone else.

The govt. of Mexico needs to make what they want to do with the man who allegedly ordered the murder of kiki Camarena. After 28yrs. of waiting, the U.S. govt., the DEA, and Camarena might finally get what they worked tirelessly to achieve : the extradition of Rafael Caro Quintero to the U.S. inorder to face justice for the murder of American hero Kimi Camerena. It's been a long time coming! God bless Kimi Camarena, an American hero, his family, and the hard working men/women of the DEA.

Just ask former DEA agent James Kuykendall..Kuykendall and his good old friend ex-fbi agent Raúl Salinas, now Laredo, TX mayor, were giving interviews hoping that if a movie is made they would be the main actors. They both already forgot when in Brownsville, TX they were under investigation for drug related kidnappings back in 1985.They were also good friends with Guillermo González Calderoni, former federal police commander turned DEA and FBI snitch who later were executed outside his lawyer's office in McAllen, TX. So fuck them all.

How many innocent kids, women and men got caught in the crossfire and killed because these agents lost track of the weapons? Why don't they send these agents responsible to Mexico? Camarena knew exactly the risk he took when he infiltrated the cartel. Take your loss and move on. 52. Mexicans hide one of the biggest genocides in history.
When the Indians of Mexico and Central America revolted. The Spanish brought in slaves from Africa. After Black men and women completed all the work on the beautiful churches and projects the THEN Mexicans started systematically killing all African slaves. Some escaped only to be enslaved again in Texas etc. One famous probable black in Mexico was "José María Morelos" At one time African slaves out numbered Spanish 100 to 1. So the Mexicans then just killed them. Look it up if you can find it.

So when you see a beautiful aqueduct or Cathederal in Mexico thank a slaved black man for building it.

    1. No, you're wrong, there are a lot of blacks in México, but these are the ones that were left in Cuba, when the ignorant conquistadores mistook Cuba with Florida, some of them later emigrated to México, the same way thousands of Amish and Catholics emigrated to Mexico between 1845 and 1901 to escape the white supremacist bullshit, so; fuck off. The USA economy was built over black blood, you stupid sob. Go back to school.

You are wrong sir about the history of Mexico. All the beautiful historical buildings that were built were buildings by the native peoples of Mexico. The Spanish brought slaves to Central, South America and Caribbean and were instrumental in the development of those colonies/later nations' economy/culture; however, Mexico was not one of those colonies. The same goes for some other former colonies that Spain at one time controlled. The native peoples' of Mexico were the pool labor the Spaniards utilized as their slaves, whose descendants have played a integral role in building the modern 20/21st century superpower U.S.A. The indigenous people of Mexico have built U.S.A. as well as Mexico. The number of Africans slaves brought by the Spanish to their colonies, for example Cuba, DR, Colombia, pales in comparison to the number of slaves brought to the Americas by the Brithish/England and Portuguese. Population increases of black people to Latin American in recent years has had more to do with economic immigration, like for the building of the Panamal Canal, than Spanish slavery.

You seem to think it is solely on the murder charge. How stupid can you guys be, arguing a point that isn't reality?

  58. Here we go again....the failed "war on drugs," what a joke. This is the same guy from the other Kiki thread who says the DEA has the highest "honor and respectability" of all federal agencies. Elements of our government are responsible for more drugs shipped into this country than all the Mexican DTO's combined. Until we get our own corruption under control we have no right to criticize. What's good for the goose...

  60. someone asked me to post the merida initiative on another post. here is what I posted as my answer I think it is relevant here as well:

MERIDA INITIATIVE is way to long to do a post, but I will give a little overview:

    Merida Initiative gave Mexico:
    A. 1.4 Billon Dollars for equipment
    B. Judicial, certain military, and police training
    C. Maritime and border strengthening and training (Mexico has no border patrol)
    D. Vetting The Merida Initiative provides for the vetting of Mexican police officers -minimize cash transfers to Mexico and Central America, and secure communications so law enforcement agencies can share data without the risk of criminals eavesdropping

there is more, like intelligence technology but EPN came in and reneged on agreements that benefited the US such as access to Mexican intelligence, so the playing field is contentious now.

Other interesting facts are RICO and other ACTS that allow for a broad range of crimes that require Mexico to extradite narcos.

AND THE US CAN go into Mexico and forcibly abduct under the Supreme Court‟s ruling in Alvarez-Machain.

Alvarez is the doctor who worked for the Guadalajara cartel and revived Kiki for further torture and interrogation. The doctor was abducted in Mexico and taken to the US, he was acquitted because of lack of evidence. he was deported and he sued the US government for unlawfully taking him. It went to the supreme court and the ruling was in favor of the US and against the doctor.

This gave way for possible abductions of narcos but because Mexico until EPN had cooperated in extraditions there has not been a need....until now.

It remains to be seen what happens, it is feasible US intelligence will find Caro Quintero for example and abduct him.

They have given intelligence to mexico resulting in every big capture taking place there, they had a good relationship with Mexico under Calderon, things are very different now and perhaps different tactics will be enforced. but it could be the opening of Pandora's box.

    ReplyDelete
  61. No, no, no don't try to pin those intelligence failures on the US. Mexico has always sent its so-called reliable enforcement for training in the US and they betrayed our trust. The state police, the federales, were already cartel associates when the went to the US for training. Your people betrayed your Mexican nation when the sent trash to the US for training.

  62. As for Mexico the Glory Land: what job did they give you to make a better life? They didn't. What great education did Mexico provide you? They didn't. What great social services did they provide you to survive? They didn't. What they gave you was a kick in the ass and you landed in the US. Have we deported you? No. Have we denied you an education? No. Have we denied you benefits to survive? No. Have we stopped you from working? No. Wake the fuck up and realize Mexico's political class fucks your nation every damned day. Stand the fuck up for what's right. Get some huevos and go back if you truly hate the US pendejo.

  69. I wonder why the stupid American government never had extradited him before, seems like Mexican government is doing it for retaliation, because Mexican government didn't like how DEA is working and how is managing the drug war,it is clear for Mexicans that DEA is who controls the drug and is the one who decides when act against capos, like z40, it is clear that PENA NIETO gabinet didn't like that secretism, I think now OBAMA AND PENA NIETO are working together in order to clear the corruption on both sides or at least making a better monopolio with out the damn DEA.

  72. For those defending Camarena why don't you tell everyone that Kiki was fed up at the DEA's inability to pursue drug lords in Guadalajara. Frustrated at the US Governments lack of interest in their work in GDL, and not having any of their backs. Disillusioned at how the DEA burned their own agent Sandy Bario. Tell them how Kiki befriended Miguel Felix, Don Neto and Rafa, and asked Rafa to be godfather to be one of his kids first communions. Say how Kiki told the Guadalajara group they could work with impunity and he would inform on his office's activities to them for some money of course. Tell them that Alfredo Zavala the SARH pilot, who discovered El Bufalo was the one who snitched at the US consulate and put Kiki into a tight spot. The tight spot that would cost him his life. The Mafia doesn't forgive betrayals. Tell them how Kiki received pay offs and didn't give a shit about his job anymore because he was ready to leave to San Diego and leave the life in GDL behind. Tell the people the truth of how Kiki really was. Sticks up the anus? Ice picks to the shins? Stuff of slasher films. All fluff made up by the DEA in their zealous efforts to prosecute Caro Quintero and Fonseca. none of that shit appears in the autopsy reports. All that torture shit is crap. They beat him up and a DFS agent (not gonna say who, but he paid with his life his stupid mistake) drove a tire iron into his head. There. Now you guys know the reality. Not everything is the way the Gringos say. They ruined Dr Machain (who sells hotdogs now in GDL) accusing him of reviving Kiki (he had a gun to his head, wtf was he gonna do?) and ruined Don Ruben Zuno's life. He died in prison for nothing. For owning a house where Camarena died, that he had sold 2 years previous but the US needed big names to go down...Tell the people how the DEA paid old commie guerrillas from GDL, got them out of jail so they could "testify" they were at the house (881 Lope de Vega, Zapopan), and "SAW" the Minister of the Interior and Secretary of Defense there at the house...all bullshit. Pure Bullshit. DEA, dirty as the narcos they pursue.
