Friendly Fire Killed Border Patrol Agent

Borderland Beat
I have not seen a confirmation of the NBC report.  News agencies are still referring to the investigation ballistic testing as pending...

Investigators are preparing to announce that the death of Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Ivie in Arizona earlier this week was the result of friendly fire -- accidental gunfire from another agent who responded to the same scene, state and federal officials told NBC News on Friday.
A formal statement about the findings could come later Friday.
The incident involving Ivie and two other agents occurred Tuesday in a rugged area about five miles north of the US-Mexico border near Bisbee, Ariz. The agents had responded to an alarm from a sensor that tracks illegal movement along the border.
The conclusion is based on an analysis of the ballistics, the lack of evidence of other criminals in the area at the time, and other factors, the sources said.
A formal statement about the findings could come later Friday.
A second agent was wounded and was released from the hospital after undergoing surgery. The third agent was unharmed.
State and federal officials said immediately after the incident that the shootings were committed by armed criminals. And since then, Mexican authorities have said they arrested two men in Agua Prieta, northern Sonora state, a few miles from where the shooting occurred.

    1. If you think it's 100% bullshit then don't just post it on B.B, go out and protest infront of NBC studio & the American authorities investigating this case....Bet you don't have the balls to protest so shut the fuckup and let the American authorities investigate.

  16. What an outrage. E.P.N. should put the martial law right away when he enters; even though he sides with Z's (who knows). Zetas have some kind of structure in law. Z40 will do fine as a leader. Lazca is a man of law.So maybe its going to happen, theres no other way. Nobody wants to tell the truth. What if its part of the process of the NEW WORLD ORDER? Look at the others (countries), the MIDDLE EAST is where its at.

  23. Well here's something new.....

The latest on the mother who got shot by the BP agent...
Now after authorities publicly victimized the lady as a drug consuming criminal who assaulted a civil servant of the community... the other shoes drops

    http://www.cbs8.com/story/19751036/agent-accused-in-fatal-shooting-has-misconduct-history

Court records show the agent received several suspension and termination notices between 2001 and 2003, when he worked as a deputy in Imperial County.

He resigned in 2003 and then filed a wrongful-termination lawsuit in Federal court.

The termination notices accused the then deputy of "unprofessional conduct, dishonesty, violation of or refusal to obey reasonable regulations, insubordination, violation of rules, incompetence, and failure to follow proper procedures of arrest, search, and seizure and treatment of persons in custody," the court records state.

On July 27, 2003, "Plaintiff conducted a traffic stop on (a man), searched his hotel room, and arrested him. The district attorney to whom the case was referred rejected the charges, citing that the '[Fourth Amendment] violations [are] almost too numerous to list,'" the court record continues.

Oh well but most of us don't need to know the truth., because if your black, latino, green or purple, they are usually doing something illegal and are guilty and deserve what they get.

  24. Fuck being an American, and Fuck being a Mexican. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing to be proud of being of either country, especially Mexico, when the country has been ass-backwards since day one. One thing I never see come up is where the fuck are the jobs in Mexico? Why are there so many people either coming to the U.S. looking for a new beginning or looking for work in the drug trade? Talk about lazy, talk about ignorant, talk about uneducated masses exploited time and time again!

Somebody answer me this: Will Mexico ever pick up its pants and clean its hands? When are they going to open up a book and learn something? When will they accept their half of responsibility and actually do something for itself? The people are living like animals; and if they're not living like animals, they're acting like animals. Fucking disgusting!

It's more than a decade into the new millenium and my mexican people are still running around like idiots. When will you open your eyes. Fuck what any other country is doing. Ignore the rest of the world if you have to, but don't continue this self-mutilation. Ya estuvo!

  28. What US "assets" did these two guys stumble upon; and how long will the "second agent" that was wounded be allowed to survive? This doesn't smell like NARCO activity, they weren't riddled with holes and one of them survived. These guys walked into a black-op and surprised somebody.

  33. Once again, US and AZ authorities making quick claims before a full investigation, particularly that idiot AZ governor. Unfortunately for the 2 Mexican men arrested in Mexico, they were armed and arrested for unrelated charges! Friendly fire understandable in war, not in law enforcement incidents.

  34. MexicoUnido

The post has to do with the pattern law enforcement has been taking on all first account statements of any given mishap....such as the "initial reports" are that they always been attacked or assaulted and all their actions are in self-defense without any other recourse.

This brother aint no sheep,i like this guy,he knows whats up.Fuck all that US/Mexican i hate you shit,we should all be thinking along his lines, its to do with the people in all countries controlling all the wealth. How can you have the richest man on the planet, with so much poverty and unemployment? That shit aint right. Is there one decent strong politico of either sex who can get things done for the majority?Every country got problems, some worse than others, but getting sidetracked and used by politicos in bullshit nationalism aint gonna cut it people.Saludos hermano

  42. tyrone how do you so consistently manage to miss the point on every single story?

"They" did not try to blame Mexicans. Because the shooting happened right on the border area and involved BP, it would be a safe assumption that a mexican bad guy did it. The Mexican cops, as they usually do, just grabbed the first two guys they found. The Americans actually performed an investigation and discovered that the BP shot each other. Duh.
